Fang Zhe continued to stare blankly at the transparent panel floating before his eyes.

The “20%” text was still clearly displayed. He almost frowned.

‘So… this system doesn’t just grant abilities… it also measures other people’s feelings?’

The thought felt strange. Not long after, the panel slowly began to fade.

Then it disappeared completely.

“Fang Zhe?”

Erina’s voice pulled him back to reality. He lifted his gaze.

Now Erina was looking at him with a hint of confusion.

“Why did you suddenly go silent?”

Fang Zhe gave a faint smile.

“Sorry.”

He picked up his glass of water.

“Just a little tired.”

Erina tilted her head slightly, but she didn’t press further.

“Then let’s call it a night.”

She wiped her lips with a napkin.

“We still have a morning meeting tomorrow.”

Fang Zhe nodded.

“Alright, Boss.”

*

A few minutes later.

They went down from the rooftop restaurant and returned to the car.

The city at night was still lively with vehicle lights and brightly lit skyscrapers.

The black car moved smoothly through the streets.

Inside the car, the atmosphere was fairly quiet.

Erina sat in the back seat, looking out the window. Occasionally, she glanced at Fang Zhe in the front seat.

But the man looked calm as usual.

As if nothing could disturb him.

After about thirty minutes of travel,

the car finally entered Erina’s residence area.

The large iron gate slowly opened, and the car came to a stop in front of the main entrance.

The driver stepped out first to open the door, allowing Erina to get out.

She glanced slightly at Fang Zhe.

“You should get some rest too.”

Fang Zhe nodded.

“Alright, Boss.”

Erina walked into the house. The large door slowly closed.

The courtyard fell silent once more.

However, Fang Zhe remained standing there for a few seconds.

Then he let out a long breath.

“Hmm…”

He loosened his collar slightly. The night air felt quite refreshing.

Instead of heading straight to the guards’ quarters at the side of the yard, Fang Zhe walked toward the side garden.

The garden lights illuminated the small stone path cutting through the green grass.

A gentle night breeze blew again.

He slipped both hands into his pockets.

“Quite peaceful…”

However…

A few hundred meters outside the residence fence,

another black car was parked on the dark roadside.

Its lights were off, but inside were two men watching the villa.

One of them held a small pair of binoculars,

aimed toward the garden.

“He’s out.”

The driver turned his head.

“Which one?”

The man narrowed his eyes through the binoculars.

“The one reported earlier. Fang Zhe.”

The driver let out a soft snort.

“That was quick.”

The man with the binoculars lowered them slightly.

“The orders are clear.”

He spoke in a low voice.

“Find out who he is. If necessary… test him a little.”

The driver smiled faintly.

“Test him, huh?”

He lit a cigarette. Thin smoke quickly filled the car.

“I heard he took down three of Young Master Brata’s men alone.”

The man with the binoculars looked toward the garden again.

Fang Zhe was still standing there alone.

Calm. As if unaware of anything.

The man narrowed his eyes.

“That’s exactly why.”

His tone grew more serious.

“We need to be sure.”

He lowered the binoculars.

“Whether he’s really as strong as reported…”

Or…

“Just lucky.”

In the distance, Fang Zhe remained standing calmly in the garden.

But a few seconds later…

He slightly tilted his head.

His gaze faintly shifted toward the dark outer fence.

As if… he sensed something.

The night breeze passed through the garden again.

Small leaves rustled softly against each other.

Fang Zhe stood with both hands in his pockets, his gaze fixed on the dark fence.

A few seconds passed.

Then he muttered softly,

“Just come out.”

But the surroundings remained silent. No response.

However, three seconds later…

SWISH!

Two dark figures leaped over the fence with swift movements.

One.

Two.

They landed on the grass with bent knees to soften the sound.

Fang Zhe didn’t even look surprised. He simply let out a small breath.

“I thought you’d keep watching a bit longer.”

One of the men smirked.

“Not bad instincts.”

The other pulled something from inside his jacket.

Click.

A folding knife snapped open, its blade reflecting the garden lights.

The other did the same.

Two thin blades now pointed at Fang Zhe.

The first man rolled his shoulder slightly.

“We just want to confirm something.”

Fang Zhe looked at them expressionlessly.

“Confirm?”

The man smiled faintly.

“Whether you’re really as capable as reported.”

Without any warning…

WHOOSH!

The man on the right lunged forward, his movement fast.

The knife in his hand thrust straight toward Fang Zhe’s neck.

But Fang Zhe’s body shifted half a step to the side.

The blade sliced through empty air.

In the same motion, Fang Zhe raised his hand to deflect.

But—

The second man was already behind him.

SWISH!

The second blade swept from the side.

Forcing Fang Zhe to step back.

But the tip still grazed his cheek.

SRET!

A thin cut appeared on his face.

Red blood immediately seeped out.

The first man grinned widely.

“What’s wrong? I thought you were strong.”

They gave him no time.

The second attack came instantly.

Two blades moved from opposite directions.

SWISH! SWISH!

Fang Zhe stepped back twice along the stone path.

He blocked one attack with his wrist.

PAK!

But the other blade swept in again from a different angle.

SRET!

A second cut appeared along his jaw.

Blood slowly dripped down to his chin.

One of the attackers let out a short laugh.

“So you can bleed after all.”

Fang Zhe remained silent.

A few drops of blood fell to the ground.

He slowly raised his hand.

His fingers touched the cut on his cheek.

When he saw the blood on his fingertips…

His eyes changed slightly.

Not anger.

But something colder. Much more detached.

He let out a small breath.

“I see…”

The first man twirled his knife.

“What? Does it hurt?”

Fang Zhe shook his head slightly.

“Actually…”

He lowered his hand.

His gaze sharpened.

“I was just thinking.”

The two men moved again.

“Thinking about what?”

Fang Zhe looked at both of them.

The night wind blew once more.

Then he answered calmly,

“Whether I should hold back.”

In a split second—

His body vanished from where he stood.

Both men’s eyes widened in shock.

“What?!”

Fang Zhe halted the movement of his hand, which had been resting on the chips. Behind his minimalist silver mask, his eyes flashed with an amusement that was as playful as it was cold. He did not break General Guan’s tight grip on his forearm, choosing instead to simply leave it be."Wagering your lives now that your money has run out?" Fang Zhe chuckled softly, a sound that was utterly relaxed yet dripping with contempt. "Fascinating. This will certainly save me a lot of time cleaning up this place. Very well, I accept your trash wager."Upon hearing Fang Zhe's agreement, General Guan slowly withdrew his hand. The general exhaled a heavy breath, exhaling a military Qi aura that was incredibly solid and oppressive. At the far end of the table, the Grand Master remained silent, but the cylinder of his golden revolver cycled once more with a rhythmic clicking sound, signaling that he too consented to this madness as a final move to turn the tides."Dealer... deal the final cards," the G
