Rio stops pacing and turns towards Vector.

He looks towards his side holster, noticing the handgun.

He knew that the gun was ineffective on the creatures and even if it was, It would be far too difficult to land a shot on their thin outlines.

Rio was instead interested in another property of the gun.

If he could tamper with the weapon a bit he knew he could force the gun to explode.

It wouldn't be big but it should suffice against the creature in front of them.

Rio has Vector take the gun out of the holster and draw the hammer back. He then places the barrel on the ground and begins slamming it repeatedly against the ground.

The creature is still battling Zack and has stopped paying attention to anyone else, ignoring the sounds coming from its rear.

In the span of a few seconds, the barrel is completely bent and shattered.

Rio pulls it from the ground and begins inspecting it.

"This is perfect. Now we just need to add a bit more oomph, don't you think?" Rio asked, looking towards Vector.

Vector looks confused but doesn't say anything.

Rio Has Vector remove the clip and drop all of the bullets onto the ground.

one by one he carefully disassembled them to collect the gunpowder within.

Once Rio has collected all of the powder, he jams as much as he can the base of the chamber.

Once it was done, Rio took some time to admire his handiwork.

Once he was done, Rio ordered Jeremy to create a small chalk creature for him to influence.

With the creature now holding the gun, Rio had Vector pick it up and throw it towards the large creature's head.

The small creature slams into its head and without a thought, it pulls the trigger.

A flash of light erupts from the gun momentarily blinding everyone in the room.

When their vision returned, They saw that the creature was no longer standing but lying on the ground motionless.

Its head had completely vanished.

"Wow. That was a bit stronger than I expected. Good job everyone." Rio praises all of his servants.

Jeremy begins approaching Rio but before he can get close, Rio is picked up by the fatigued Zack.

"Come on everyone, let's get out of here." Rio ordered, ignoring Jeremy's pouting.

As Vector reaches his hand out towards the door, it slams open from the other side, slamming into his face and causing him to stumble backwards.

A squad of 13 people in dark blue uniforms burst through the door with guns drawn.

"Freeze!" one of them shouted.

Vector stands up slowly and looks at the soldiers with disdain along with the other three.

Rio is shocked for a moment and attempts to use his domination on the soldiers flooding into the room.

Upon activating domination, One of the soldiers' uniforms began to shine brightly.

"That doesn't look good." Rio thinks to himself.

"Team 3 to HQ, We have located Vector along with 3 other entities. A small child, A young man, and a small Pomeranian.

Along with our findings, it seems that one of them is controlling the others with some form of mind control."

"HQ to team 3, good job Secure all of them and be sure to keep them separated. And make sure that no one removes their shields. You don't need any complications on your way back to the facility."

"Yes sir, We will get right on it."

As soon as he was done speaking, he ordered his men to restrain all four members of Rio's team.

Rio thought about pulling them into the void before they were taken away, but if he did that, it would only solidify him as the one they are looking for.

He thought that his best chance was to wait it out and look for an optimal time to escape.

Jack, Vector, and Jeremy were taken in handcuffs and blindfolded while Rio was put into a small cage and placed into the back of an unnamed van.

As he is placed into the van, He get a notification in his mind.

"Escape from Jeremy's Castle, complete"
