Chapter 3

If Yuda misses the girl he likes and wants to see her, now Yuda doesn't have to come to school to see the girl in secret. Yuda closed the box, and took it along with the other collection boxes that were on the table and also under the drawer of his closet.

All the collections have different memories of the people around them. Some made his life difficult, some made him feel jealous and betrayed.

Yuda opened his bedroom window and inhaled the refreshing scent of rain mixed with blood in his room. Like the new formula Yuda had managed to make into a perfume.

Yuda saw several people walking in front of the fence of his house, covering their noses and mouths.

"Maybe the scent got to them. Thanks to the good news, I didn't feel alone."

A very tiring day, pulling the body of the girl he likes out of the school's backyard this morning.

"Sorry, we can't meet tomorrow. I'm sorry," Yuda said quietly.

October 23, 2016,

At that time, there was a friendly volleyball match between the schools, Bina Bakti High School and Taruna High School. And in the end, the indoor volleyball match was won by Bina Bakti High School, Yuda High School. Applause rang out in the hall. The score was 2-1 and ended in the third set with 25-19 points. It took 2.5 hours to show the attractiveness of the team from SMA Bina Bhakti who lost 2 years ago. The two met in the stands of the fans. Mario took a bottle of water that was next to Yuda and drank it in three gulps.

"Ah, I'm tired," Mario muttered and wiped his sweat with a small towel on his shoulder. Yuda just smiled.

"Man, if only you could play on the field, it would be fun," Mario added.

Yuda smiled faintly, while continuing to watch the heart rate monitor in his left hand.

"Okay, I have to go first! There's lunch with the volleyball team," Mario said, getting up from his seat, throwing the towel on the seat, and then running back to the field. Yuda took the towel and threw it away, stomping on it with all his might, then the white towel became dull.

"Yud, don't forget to pick up Jeni! I forgot to tell her!" Mario shouted from the court before finally leaving the hall with the team.

Yuda was silent and turned around. He got out of the row of seats and left the already empty hall. For a moment, stealing Mario's cheerful smile that could be seen from afar, Mario was busy talking to other students who were participating in the game. There was jealousy in his heart when Mario spent more of his free time becoming an athlete at school in various other sports, instead of studying and playing together with Yuda like they did in middle school.

Earlier, shocking news came when Mario confessed his feelings for Jeni, the same girl Yuda had liked for a year. Now Mario is burdening his heart by always asking Yuda's help instead of him to take Jeni to and from school and tutoring, with the reason that he is busy with various sports activities and hanging out with his volleyball team.

"I trust you Jeni! I don't want another man accompanying her . You also know that to get Jeni's heart is very difficult. Please help me, just one week to take Jeni home and pick her up from her tutoring place. We are friends." Mario said a week ago when he was busy playing volleyball for this game.

It was also raining very hard at that time. Yuda walked towards Jeni's class with rather heavy steps. Yuda saw Jeni from a distance standing in front of the class and muttering.

"Wait a minute, it's raining!" Yuda said and approaching. Jeni turned around a little annoyed.

"Isn't the volleyball game over yet?" Jeni asked.

"Yes, he has an event with the team," Yuda replied.

The two of them leaned against the same and stared at the falling rain. Jeni gave Yuda a beautiful smile, until Yuda felt comfortable for a moment and looked down. A pair of beautiful brown eyes that always fluttered so that Yuda couldn't see them for fear of falling deeper in love with his best friend's girlfriend.

The rain slowly stopped, Jeni came closer to touch Yuda's little finger, which surprised Yuda because he was concentrating on reading some messages from his mother on his cell phone.

"Come on! It's calmed down a bit. I just want to go home," Jeni said. Yuda put his phone back in his pocket without finishing reading the contents of the message from his mother.

Yuda and Jeni ran down the stairs, then back to the motorcycle parking lot. Yuda tried to cover Jeni's head with his hands. It was like a romantic scene, like the romance drama he had been watching.

Jeni pulled Yuda's hand to walk together. Yuda couldn't stop looking at Jeni's hand and touching it, which made him feel nervous.

Heavy rain fell again. Yuda and Jeni ran even faster. Then they took shelter under a steel roof near the parking lot. A pair of eyes stared at each other again, the weather even supporting their closeness. Yuda swallowed his saliva several times when Jeni smiled right in front of him. Suddenly, Yuda lost his mind and immediately kissed Jeni on the lips, because they could no longer hold back their hidden feelings. Jeni did resist the touch until they finally kissed passionately.

The sound of thunder startled Yuda and Jeni, until they realized they were wrong. Yuda saw a friend staring at them from a distance. Yuda realized that the student was a friend of Mario's volleyball team. However, Yuda still ignored him and just stared at Jeni.

'I'm in trouble,' Yuda thought. His friends will definitely call Mario and tell him about what happened between Yuda and Jeni. But now Yuda knows that Jeni likes him. Yuda saw Jeni's expression and didn't hesitate to kiss him on the lips.

The rain stopped and Yuda took Jeni home. This time, Jeni was closer to him. Jeni hugged Yuda's waist tightly as he sat behind her.

After dropping Jeni off, Yuda returned to his house. Yuda's happy heart was suddenly broken by the sight before his eyes as he entered his house. Yuda saw that his mother was already under the stairs and was unconscious. This made Yuda panic, and she finally called an ambulance.

The ambulance finally arrived 3 nurses carried a stretcher out of the car and then lifted his mother's body into the car to be taken to the hospital. Yuda, without thinking twice, immediately joined in.

His mother was taken to the emergency room after the nurse explained that her mother had fainted from taking too many sleeping pills. Yuda sat in the waiting room and tried to call his father, but he did answer. Yuda was annoyed and vented his anger by punching the wall.

Suddenly, his cell phone rang. Yuda immediately answered it, and it turned out that the one caller was not his father, but Mario.

"Yes, What is it?" asked Yuda uneasily.

"I want to ask you something, I want to talk to you," Mario said curtly.

Yuda realized that what Mario wanted to talk about was Jeni, but right now his mother was sick, so it was impossible to meet Mario.

"I can't, we'll talk tomorrow when we're at school," Yuda replied.

"Okay, I'll wait for you in front of the classroom at 6 a.m.," Mario said and hung up.

Yuda then thought of a way to be honest with Mario, if he really liked Jeni, even before Mario and Jeni started dating. Yuda would fight for Jeni's love.

And the next day, Yuda came to school really early. He didn't care about his weak body, the result of sleeping all night in the hospital to take care of his mother.

Yuda went to his class, and saw that Mario had arrived there. Mario looked at Yuda with an annoyed face, and without many words directly invited Yuda to chat on the roof of their school, which waa usually used by other students to hide while smoking.

Arrived on the roof. Without a word, Mario grabbed Yuda's uniform collar and pushed Yuda's body so that he fell.

"What have you done to Jeni?" Mario snapped.

"I like her, that's all," Yuda answered honestly.

Mario spat angrily in front of Yuda, the look of his best friend of 5 years changed jus because of a girl.

"Jeni cried and called me, she said you forced her to kiss you! Damn it!" said Mario, then slapped Yuda's right cheek. Yuda was surprised by Mario's words, and couldn't avoid them.

"You want to do bad things to Jeni! Damn you! I thought we were friends," Mario said, then pulled on Yuda's collar again until he was lifted.

But, before Mario could throw another punch, Yuda had already hit Mario and the two ended up in a fight.

Mario didn't allow Yuda to explain the problem, because yesterday Jeni didn't refuse when Yuda kissed her. This made Yuda desperate and finally pushed Mario to the corner of the roof barrier.

"Are we going to kill each other just because of a girl?" Yuda said angrily. His hand still grabbed Mario's collar to keep his hand from hitting him again.

"Of course, because she's the girl I love!" snapped Mario, then managed to hit Yuda again. Yuda accidentally pushed Mario's body so hard that Mario fell from the roof of his school, which was on the 3rd floor.

The screams of all the students echoed as they saw Mario jump from the roof. Meanwhile, Yuda, silent and still shocked and panicked, sees blood gushing from Mario's body.
