Zion’s face was engulfed in burning rage; this was his chance to take his revenge as well as tell everyone that Asher was a nobody.

Most of the people gathered around were prominent families from far and beyond. Sean and Zara were excited when they spotted Asher, and they had to approach him.

Their hands were entwined as they walked forward.

Zara blushed upon hearing his words, “All thanks to you, Mr Mancini.” She said.

She was able to let go of her grief and hatred toward Sean. She had even moved in with him and agreed to become his wife.

“I am happy you both are together,” Asher said.

Sean leaned, whispered to Zara who didn’t hesitate as she smiled. “Mr Mancini, I will take my leave. See you later.”

But what other way is there to explain when they found the colour bracelet that Asher had always kept by his side? Maybe it slipped from his grip, maybe he had used the energy before he ran out of the room. But either way, he strongly believed Asher wasn’t dead. There had to be another way, or a clue to prove that Asher was still alive.Mark was in uncertainty, Augustus held the bracelet staring at it as if he was waiting for the bracelet to talk to him, he was trying his best not to believe what he said even though his mind was trying to say it was true. When Gaius wants someone dead, they are going to die for sure. A

Where he was and why he hadn’t called any of them. Something bad had just happened. Tarot felt that Gaius must have gotten Asher; it was possible, but he wasn’t sure that Asher would go down easily. What they still couldn’t tell was why Lucio would betray them, they saw it clearly when he stabbed Asher from behind with the dagger.Tarot was worried about Asher, not just where he was, but how he would see him after Gaius said the truth. He hadn’t been himself since the incident happened, many thoughts ran through his mind.Mark paced around the room, and they hoped Asher wouldn’t be in Gaius’ hideout; if not, it would be diffi

Fabio closed the file and lay back on his chair, as he heaved a deep sigh. Nothing was adding up; he felt like he had been wasting time looking at the files. All their investigations were leading in an unknown direction.Fabio ran a hand through his hair, as he thought about the previous incident. Marco told him that Gaius killed Max and the other men, that was the only lead they had, so far they couldn’t prove anything that it was Gaius. But then he blamed Max for acting stubborn and going against his order to attack Giaus first. At this time, Fabio’s phone buzzed, and he immediately answered the call. “I am on my way.” He hurriedly replied.Sergio looked at him, “What’s happening?”

The more Asher thought about it, the more uncomfortable he felt. He reached for the bottle of water and gulped it halfway before settling down at the table beside him.Time passed, and Asher felt something. Silence hung between them, the kind that could snap at any moment. “How did you get all of these, and how did you know he is Kevin's son?”Lucio chuckled, and he replied. “Why won't I know? I work with Kelvin and still have a position in the gang. But I want something more than just my current position, I want to be the leader, and only you can help me. We can team up and fight him. You get the green stone, and I get to become the leader of the Gilded Fang. A win for both of us.”Even if Lucio was making his statement, he knew never to trust Gaius; the man would kill him when he got what he wanted.
