Whether it was from the frozen sea of the North Pole with just floating ice and no land in sight or the extremely hot savannah and desert, everyone heard the same words. THE PLANET EARTH IS UNDER REVIEW. ...ASSESSING... ACCESSING... ASSESSMENT IN PROGRESS!! DOMINANT SPECIES: HUMANS. (HOMO SAPIENS) 7.7 BILLION LIGHTFORMS OF SPECIES DETECTED. LOADING 7.7 BILLION LIGHTFORMS... SCANNING...PLANET EARTH BIOLOGICAL COMPETENCY...LOW WORLD STATUS....BELOW AVERAGE. EARTH'S EVALUATION...BELOW AVERAGE FINAL CONCLUSION FOR EARTH: UNDESERVED! INITIATING REFORMATION... All this happened in less than a minute, after which the whole world fell into silence. It was as if everyone had experienced the same hallucination at the same time. The bizarre announcement has given rise to different conspiracy theories that started to pop up on the internet. Some said that it must be a new biological weapon built by the USA using the common DNA shared by man, which was why it was able to affect everyone across the globe. Others argued that it was made by Russia or a secret underground experiment going on in Africa. Accusations were thrown back and forth without a clear explanation for the strange phenomenon that just took place. Many others waited for an official statement from the government. At 5:00pm in the evening, the president of Country Z stepped up to assure his citizens that there was no need for alarm and the situation didn’t warrant any state of emergency. Everyone was told to ignore what happened. At 10:00pm that same evening, a devastating earthquake struck the earth. Lands split. Buildings were swallowed, and the governments all over the world collapsed. In the middle of it all a clear voice was heard. DUH…DUH… EARTH'S CONCLUSION. HUMANITY HAS OCCUPIED THE TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN FOR OVER 1000 YEARS, TOWERING OVER OTHER SPECIES ON EARTH. IN WHAT CAPACITY HAVE YOU DEEMED YOURSELF AS RULERS, AND WHY SHOULD SUCH AN ABUNDANT PLACE BELONG TO SUCH IGNORANT SPECIES? THE POLLUTION, WASTE, AND ENTITLEMENT. IT'S TIME FOR HUMANITY TO PAY THE PRICE OF EXISTENCE! This was the day Lucas' life and many others became hell. Accompanying the earthquake were black abyssal holes that swallowed people without spitting out their bones. Everyone will later find out that this was due to the opening of dungeons. A realm beyond the human world, ruled by countless other species. Orcs, goblins, demons, and dragons poured out of black abyssal holes unending. A black mist blanketed the skies, spreading an infection. Those contaminated by it became flesh-eating monsters. On the first day, half of Earth's population fell. On the second day fewer than 2 billion people remained. Their only chance of survival was spelt out for them. ATTACK THE TOWER! [Note: The story begins after the protagonist is reborn.
