[Magic Stones]

Magic stones can be used as materials for making magic tools, these stones can be obtained from monsters that have a magic core with high magic power.

[King Deity Necklace]

Type: Accessories

Charisma +2,000

A necklace that has some of the charisma of a King, a necklace that is highly sought after by others because of its prowess, but this necklace is so rare that it makes its price very expensive.

"...This is great!!" exclaimed Kazuki in great joy!

He had obtained hundreds of thousands of yen in cash, the Secret Palace of the Ancient Emperors, and even weapons of unreasonable power!

“The warehouse is much more mysterious than I thought...” muttered Kazuki while looking intently at the door.

The door was hidden in the middle of the palace, so he was a bit confused when he wanted to look for it again.

"...Then what about my hand...?" he said while looking at his unusable left hand.

Previously when he killed that monster slime, Kazuki completely forgot about his left hand.

'Should I leave it like this?'

 "No..."

Then Kazuki remembered the business card that the cat owner had given him.

"... Maybe he is the only person I can ask for help with this."

Kazuki had made up his mind.

"I'd better get back home first."

That's what he decided before going back through the door, carrying some of his loot.

 ***

"The address is surprisingly close enough!"

When he saw the business card, he finally realized how close the doctor's hospital was to him.

"7 minutes by train is not a long time, at least I have to hurry before I miss the train!" said Kazuki while carrying the small bag containing the money he found.

At least Kazuki had to prepare this much to treat himself!

 ***

"Thank you for receiving me, Doctor," the patient said gratefully as he left the clinic.

The doctor in the white coat bowed in return before sitting back in his chair with a sigh.

Looking down at the sleeping cat in his arms, the doctor let out another deep breath.

"Excuse me, Doctor. Your next patient will be coming in soon," a nurse's voice came from the intercom.

"Please let them in," the doctor responded.

Shortly after, the door opened and a young man with a swollen and battered face entered the room.

"Wait, Igarashi-kun? Why are you so injured?" the doctor exclaimed in surprise.

Kazuki smiled wryly and replied, "It's nothing, just a regular beating. No need to worry about it."

The doctor's mind went blank at the response.

"This is serious! Let's treat your wounds first," the doctor said, leading Kazuki to the special treatment room.

Kazuki's body was covered in red and blue bruises, and his face was badly swollen from the kick he had received from the gangster.

"I will follow you, sir," Kazuki said calmly.

 ***

"Just one more bandage and it's done!" said the doctor as he attached the last bandage clip.

 "Thank you, sir," Kazuki replied.

"No need to be formal, just call me by my name," the doctor said, smiling.

 "Very well, Sanada-san," Kazuki said.

"Hey... If I may ask, how did you end up like this?" Sanada asked, curious.

"Ahh... How should I put it, it's quite a long story..." Kazuki said nonchalantly.

He considered Sanada quite trustworthy, so he didn't mind sharing his story.

"No problem, I'm happy to listen!" Sanada replied excitedly.

"Okay... This story might be boring, so feel free to ignore it," Kazuki warned.

 "I understand!"

 ***

After listening to Kazuki's story for a few minutes, Sanada finally understood the problem.

"Hey, Igarashi-kun... Isn't that going too far? They bully you every day, why don't you just report them to the police?" asked Sanada in surprise.

Hearing that question, Kazuki couldn't help but let out a tired sigh and replied, "What about the evidence? Do you think this evidence alone is enough? It's much bigger than you can think…"

The answer from Kazuki really made Sanada speechless and a little angry about what the gangsters were doing.

"How can the authorities not handle this properly?" Sanada growled.

"Hahh... Even if you ask me, I won't be able to come up with a solution to the problem," Kazuki said to Sanada tiredly.

"Then how are you going to deal with this, Igarashi-kun?" Sanada was really worried because bullying was the one thing he hated the most in his life.

Hearing that question, Kazuki's eyes that were like dead fish before turned into eyes filled with determination and he answered, "I want to change!"

"Change? You mean..." Sanada was slightly stunned by Kazuki's sudden change in attitude.

"I want to change! I will transform my body this summer vacation!" exclaimed Kazuki, filled with determination.

"Seeing that your decision is unanimous, I will help you as best I can," Sanada said in response.

"Thank you, Sanada-san!" replied Kazuki while bowing his head gratefully.

"No problem, it's easy for me," said Sanada while nodding his head.

 ***

"This contains advice on methods to burn fat fast and foods to consume. Additionally, I'll give you some books on how to lose extra weight," explained Sanada as he handed over several documents and books to Kazuki.

"How much do I owe you for the treatment and consultation?" asked Kazuki as he opened his small bag.

"No need! You don't have to pay me for this," replied Sanada hurriedly.

 "But..."

"It's better to use the money to buy some healthy vegetables. Besides, since it's getting late, the hospital will convert the nightly payment into overtime pay, which is the full right of the doctor. Therefore, I don't have to give the money to the hospital!"

"Is that true...?" asked Kazuki to confirm.

"Of course, I'll also make a special program for you!" replied Sanada proudly.

"Thank you, Sanada-san!" exclaimed Kazuki gratefully.

"You're welcome. Oh... And take this," Sanada ordered as he handed Kazuki a piece of paper containing documents.

 "What's this...?"

"This is a document that records our participation in a special program. It's like an official record of the program, so the hospital won't question me about it. You can read it first."

 "Okay."

After reading it for a while, Kazuki understood its purpose.

"You're also doing research...?" asked Kazuki curiously.

"Yes, this is also one of the reasons. I'm researching some things that exist in society. This document is also an official record of your participation in this research, which will determine my graduation to become a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in medical science!" said Sanada proudly.

"If that's your reason, then I don't mind. Of course, I agree," replied Kazuki as he signed the document.

"Is that all?" asked Kazuki as he handed back the document.

 "That's all," replied Sanada.

"Alright, then I'll head home. Thank you, and see you soon, Sanada-san!" said Kazuki as he left the room.

"Sure, see you soon!" replied Sanada lightly.

 ***

Before heading home, Kazuki made a stop at a convenience store to buy some food. Afterwards, he took the time to browse a bookstore and purchased several martial arts books that were quite popular in this world, including European sword martial arts, Chinese spear martial arts, Muay Thai martial arts, Taekwondo martial arts, Japanese archery martial arts, and several others.

As he walked home with his purchases and some food in hand, Kazuki gazed up at the night sky filled with beautiful stars.

"Isn't the sky beautiful, System?" he asked, but received no response.

 [...]

"Can't the System come with me to this world?" he sighed, giving up on any hope of an answer.

 [...]

Regardless, Kazuki continued on his way home and enjoyed his food with gusto. Finally, with his hands treated and his stomach full, he was able to sleep peacefully.

"It was a day full of color..." he thought to himself as he drifted off to sleep.

 "Have a nice dream, Kazuki."
