Last hope

    When 3 people knows about a secret, it is no more a secret because one way or another it will be blown open. I was not very comfortable from the moment I got down from the car and I stepped my foot into the station, I was weird and was expecting everything to be different but it was not, everything still looked normal, I played along like nothing had happened and I walked to my office. After spending few minutes in my office happy that no one found out about what had happened and I did not have to go with my other crazy plan which was to move to another state but even if I wanted to I have to find my family killer. 

     There was an emergency general meeting, on hearing the meeting bell my heart skipped and I was wondering again what they could want to announce that was general and why was the Major General looking at at me in weird way? We all gathered abs I was at the back where I was not supposed to be, as I was one of the backbones of the DISAG, I was meant to be on the stage with the rest of the heads but I was with the rest of the officers. After some minutes of making a speech they noticed that was not around but Williams said he had seen me so they had to yell my name into the crowd and I made my way up. The officers were wondering why I was among them. I walked up to the stage and the General asked 

     ' where were you yesterday and why did u leave so early, you left before the investigation was completed ' It was like my heart beats paused for a while and I was just steering at the floor then I remembered that I had no reason to lie because I actually left to check my brother because I thought the killer was after him. But if I should tell them that he was after my brother they wonder why and how and what they reason I think he is after my brother. I looked up and said 

' I had to go check on my brother at home and I needed a break on the case but now I am fully back '. Detective Williams was standing right behind the General and it looked like he had been feeding him with so bad idea about me and I have to act fast before I get kicked out of the station or get embarrassed in the presence of my junior colleges. We all sat, looking at the big wide screen attached to a long metal on the roof, Williams bit up and walked to the center of the stage where he uploaded a picture from his phone to the big flat wide screen, it was me, my legs were shaking and my hands were sweaty and I was suddenly uncomfortable and anxious, I looked both right and left thinking if anyone recognized me on the big screen. 

         

    Detective Williams faced the junior officers and said ' how would you feel if I should say that one of the people on the stage are one of the night creatures, he or she clan is one of the strongest clan, as I have researched, the strongest clan is the Blue fox clan where they from the bloodline of the coming together of the Wizards of Hoods and Red fox and the person his..' then he pointed at me and and he said Mr Joe please join me on stage I have few questions for you answer and I need to swear that on that Bible, pointing at the bible on the table next to him, I was covered with sweat and I was shaking and I was hot from inside like I was going to explode, my heart rate increased and u could no longer hear anyone voice, it was like they all suddenly make mute. I thought that the only thing I could was to just accept my disgrace and come back at Williams. I felt a cold hand and she whispered 'why are you sweating this much, he need on the stage ' then I opened my eye and saw I was just asked to come to the stage, I got up and smiled at the crowd and Williams then he asked ' would you like to be my partner on this case to catch this beast that's a threat to mankind '. He stressed fort his hand for a handshake, I was so relieved and I accepted the shake feeling cool and less sweaty. 

       I was on a case to after myself, my only way out was if I could get a picture of Williams when he transformed into a beast so I had a plan. My team and I were working on a case when we a call came into the station that the killer was in a hospital and was after a patient, we ran there without waiting for Williams and his team, were allowed to walk any area of the area because we were a cop but there was one particular room where they said we can't enter because it was the room they do keep pants of bloods and not only because of that, the room is always kept at a high temperature to store the blood,I told them that we the doctor in charge that there need to reduce the temperature, that I will go alone and it just to to be sure that no one was hiding there. I went in and it was damn cold and I would not last ten minutes before I would freeze so I allowed the beast to take over but that was a big mistake. 

      The blood called my attention and I forgot that main reason I was in there, I started another battle between me and the beast inside, I was trying not to take the pants of blood but they were everywhere and I had to stay a beast in there. I started seeing double but at the same time I heard a rattle sound coming from inside but I could no longer cope, I knew the killer was important so I still continued but I could not make it past few minutes before something hit me from the back and I fell, I could not get a clear picture because my eyes were seeing blur and the power supply was faulty and that have to do with the killer I was sure of that. I fell on the fall laying there making an harmless growl like a wounded hungry lion and he had to watch a flock of deers walk pas him with confidence.
