"Hold on, listen Albert Latino and P**e Aqua are big shots of the California Government. If P**e Aqua is not in Los Angeles even if we overthrow Albert Latino in the mutiny, P**e Aqua can still crusade against us under the banner of the Los Angeles government, who wouldn't want that?"

"However, if P**e Aqua is now in Los Angeles, we can force him to make a joint announcement with Albert Latino to clean up those forces"

"Drey, the Richard army is waiting outside the town. I have given the order that we must take action tonight. If you don't cooperate, Your soldiers will be under the cosh when they learn about the mess going on out there. By then, you will have no chance"

"Why did you give the order without asking me?" Drey knitted his brows.

"I am doing this to save your life. This is the time to burn your bridges" Richard replied.

"Save my life? That is ridiculous"

"Drey, this is the only chance to turn the table, time is running out. It is all or nothing. Give me some credit. Let's take a leap of hope"

Drey was convinced.

He nodded and picked up his phone to call.

"Hello, Send my words to the battalion, we are going to act ahead of schedule" 

He hung up.

Lincoln Residence

Everyone was busy with one thing or the other since the Military Governors are coming to the residence. A woman was instructing the maids on what.

She is Dawn Arts, Arci stepmother and Arci mother bride servant.

"Take it slowly. Okay?" She chastised a young lady.

"Please hurry. Take a look at the time "She yelled at a few people.

"Place the flowers here."

A man in a black robe approached her, he is Calvin, the Lincoln residence Butler.

He addressed her as "Ma'am."

Dawn fixed her gaze on him "Miss Runa wants to send a car to pick up her friends, but all of our cars have been dispatched to the train station to pick up the military senior and commander, leaving us with only one car. Which is for Miss Arci's airport pick-up." Calvin informed her.

Dawn replied, "Just borrow a car."

"However, Miss Arci's plane will be there in no time." I'm afraid we won't be able to make it in time." Calvin replied her

"Calvin, what's the matter with you? "Did you not hear what I said?" Dawn glared at him.

Calvin bowed and walked away from her.

Dawn sneered, "What a meddlesome man."

A young girl in a white gown walked slowly downstairs, followed by her maid. 

She is Runa, Arci stepsister and Bremo fiancee. She is pretty and charming. She has a gentle face and smiles gently.

"Oh, my daughter looks so lovely," Dawn said to the girl.

Runa hugged Dawn and said, "Mom."

"Why can't you just be cautious?" Dawn told the maid who was carrying the flowers.

"Mom," Runa called her

Dawn glanced at her.

Runa turned around to show off her dress.

"Do I look good in this dress?" She inquired.

"Do you think Bremo and I will look good together?"

"You've been talking about Bremo all day, sweetheart. You are a lady keep yourself reserve"

"Mom, Bremo will be taken away if I keep my reserved manners," Runa sighed.

"Military General Albert is in California to request a favor from your father, Your marriage to Bremo is a done deal."

"Really?" She smiled brightly.

She has had feelings for Bremo since she was a child, but he only has Arci in his eyes.

She can finally marry the man of her dreams. That bitch has no place here, her mother is already the hostess of the Lincoln Mansion.

She smiled happily.

Few hours later

Calvin walked towards Dawn.

"Madam bad news"

"What is it?"

"We failed to pick up Miss Arci,G" Calvin told her.

"We must find her before Lincoln is back, understand?"

"Yes Madam" Calvin bowed at her and left to give instructions to the driver.

Dawn turned her gaze to a maid.

"Make sure Bremo has enough sweet and sour pork ribs," Dawn instructed the maid.

"Go ahead, let the chef know"

"Yes ma'am" the maid replied and walked away to quickly do as instructed.

Calvin walked back into the Living room.

"We haven't found miss Arci yet, perhaps we can get help from the police" Calvin standing beside her told her

"Calvin, I am freaking out. Come on do we really need to make a fuss about it"

"It's not a good thing after all, just send some more guys on the search," Dawn told him.

Lincoln Watts walked into the living room with a suitcase in his hand

"Master" the maids in the living room bowed, he was just coming back from work.

"Dear, you are back" Dawn called out softly.

"You don't look well," Dawn said.

"I have something on my mind, the British stay neutral towards the revolutionary army. They don't want me to financially support any part at war, with our two families being bound in marriage. I will be expected to take care of soldiers' pay and provision. I am in a dilemma" Lincoln said as Dawn led him to sit down and poured him a cup of water.

He took a sip and relaxed his tired body.

"Dad" Runa called out as she came downstairs from her room. 

She sat down next to her dad.

"Military General Albert is my future father in law, you must help him". Runa said as she held his hand affectionately.

"I am just a business man. Even your future father in law is getting soft on the British".

"Dear" Dawn called as she sat down on his left side.

"The municipal council called," Dawn told him.

"Okay" Lincoln replied.

He stood up from the couch and walked in the direction of his room leaving both mother and daughter in the living room.

"Mom," Runa called out.

"I told you Dad has not seen Arci for over ten years but he didn't even mention her" Runa smiled happily.
