Outside, the detective and his colleague are still observing the condition of the lawyer's house. After observing for too long without anything happening, the young policeman begins to express his boredom.

“How long are we going to stay like this?” he complains.

“Why? If you want to go home, go ahead,” replies the detective. “I can ask someone else to replace you.”

“Sigh!” The young policeman doesn’t seem enthusiastic, but he continues his observations before he expresses his complaint again.

After some time, Prof. Nicholson emerges from the shadow of the sleeping lawyer. Before he completely comes out, he realizes that the curtains in the room are not closed at all. Not wanting anyone to know he is there, he dives back into the shadows.

Currently, most of the light comes in from the windows and glass walls of the room, which makes the lawyer's shadow blend into the darkness in the part of the room that is not visible from the outside.
