Julien walked to a particular flower and touched it softly. “The reason I asked you to stop here,” he said, then shifted his gaze to Jordan, “is because I want to collect this exact flower I’m touching. This was one of your mother’s favourites, and ever since she passed away, I haven’t seen any of its kind again until now. I didn’t even know it still grew in the deep side of the mountain forest. I thought it had gone extinct.”

Jordan stared at Julien as he plucked the flower and held it in his hand, admiring its beauty.

“Let’s go, Ryan,” Julien said softly, then began walking forward, forcing himself.

Jordan, noticing this, quickly spoke. “But Dad… you haven’t healed from all that had happened. If you push your body this far, you’ll end up hurting yourself further, making it harder for the nurses to heal you.”

Jordan tried to reason with Julien if he could speak sense into him, but Julien only shifted his gaze and gave Jordan a calm smile, as if he cared less about what would happe

Jordan froze. His grip tightened around her neck as he pinned her harder against the wall.“What the hell do you think you’re doing?”She licked her lips in a seductive manner before speaking. “There’s something about you that draws me in.”She tried to kiss Jordan again, but he pulled his face back. “Try that shit again and I’ll slit your throat in two.”The lady laughed casually.Meanwhile, Elsie and Matilda stood still, contemplating whether to cast the spell or not. The truth was, the spell required a life exchange—when cast, one person had to die. The plan was for Elsie to become the sacrificial lamb, even though she had never wished for it.“Auntie, we have no more choice. We have to do it,” Matilda pressed. Before agreeing to what Matilda demanded, Elsie thought of a way to be certain that the being before them was truly the magical dragon. She carved a knife using magic from her wand and sliced her palm. Blood seeped onto the ground. Afterward, she pressed her wand into the cu

  • Elegant Figure

At this point, Jordan was the only one who had noticed what he was seeing. He immediately called the woman's attention and pointed his finger toward what he was seeing. “Look over there—it’s a human!”Matilda and Elsie flinched, gripping their wands tightly as they aimed them at the figure before them. The human Jordan had seen was a woman. She stood some distance away, holding a wine cup, sipping from it as she stared at them—almost as if she had been listening to their conversation the entire time. She had been there all along, yet none of them had noticed her. Most of her body was exposed, nearly naked. She had a curvaceous figure, her chest barely covered—only a small, golden, star-shaped ornament shielded her nipples. Aside from that, she wore nothing but panties. Her legs were crossed elegantly, her blue eyes glowing faintly, her lips shimmering with the same hue. She was undeniably attractive—an overwhelming presence of beauty.“Who are you?” Elsie demanded sharply. “Speak now

  • More Demon Blood

The instinct of death radiating from the creature he had seen in the shadows kept hammering inside his head, making each breath he took feel heavy and difficult.“Let’s move forward. If what you’re saying is true about the cave closing when daytime comes, then we have to kill this dragon now. If not, the cave will seal us inside,” Jordan said to Matilda.Matilda nodded and replied as they moved into another section of the cave. The deeper they went, the more intense the heat became—dense and suffocating, almost unbearable.“Fuck, the heat is unbearable,” Matilda muttered as she walked beside Jordan.Elsie, walking close by, spoke as well. “What did you expect? Did you forget we’re facing a dragon—and we’re in the middle of an ocean of liquid fire?”It finally dawned on Matilda that they were inside a volcanic mountain. After a short walk, they reached another section—one filled with newly laid monster eggs, embedded in circles along the walls like a beehive.“oooh goodness… This is un

  • Something Lurking In The Dark

He slashed his blade through every monster that dashed toward him, and it was unbelievable that the blade was so sharp it sent out shockwaves capable of cutting down monsters without even getting close.Wow, this is amazing. I love this sword.Jordan sneered, excitement engulfing his mind.In those moments, he felt as though the blade had absorbed enough energy, and with that realization came an instinct—an urge to leap into the air and strike the sword down into the hard rock beneath where countless monsters were rushing toward him.Jordan leaped into the air, gripping the sword tightly. As he descended, he drove the blade straight into the ground, and in that instant, a crimson explosion engulfed the vast space of the cave. All the monsters were thrown to the ground. For the very first time, there was silence. No roaring, no screeching—nothing at all. Just complete stillness. But then something happened that felt unnatural to Jordan. The blood of the slain monsters began seeping int

  • Focus On Defensive

Jordan remained still as he stared at the blade, and just then the hand that had been gripping it came fully into view. It appeared to be human in shape, but it was purely made of smoke, its eyes dark as the night itself. And one word kept ringing from where the entity stood:“Blood, demon blood… more demon blood.”The entity before Jordan had no mouth, only dark, glowing eyes—darker than even the night—and within those eyes lay tiny glowing points that seemed like multiple stars trapped inside.“Who are you?” Jordan bravely asked. The entity lifted its head toward Jordan’s direction, and a voice sounded:“I’m you. I’m the entity that lies within your blade. Feed me with more demon blood and I will grow stronger. Consider it like feeding a part of you.”Jordan was startled by its words. The claim of being him unsettled him even more, but at that moment, he didn’t want to dwell on it. Taking a step forward, he asked,“Why have you brought me here?”The entity chuckled. “I brought you h

  • Inside The Volcano

Different paths appeared before them—more than ten—and they were now confused about which one to take.“What do we do now? Should we split up?” Matilda asked nervously.“Splitting up will lead to instant death,” Elsie replied, glancing over her shoulder. “It’s better if we stick together and take one path to move forward.”The paths were confusing, and splitting up would leave them vulnerable. Besides, none of them had ever faced a magical dragon before—they had no idea what awaited them.Jordan remained vigilant, his eyes scanning the surroundings. He reached out and touched the wall, which was dripping with liquid fire. To his surprise, the wall moved, as though it had a consciousness of its own.Is this what they meant when they said I’m a magic canceller? The thought passed through Jordan’s mind as he stared at the wall. As Elsie had explained, the entire cave was made of magic. Jordan was the only one who could nullify it—no magic could affect him. That was why, when he touched t
