Since the practice match, the day of Representative tournament got even more closer than ever.

During these passed few days Sora had been  helping Gabriel to hone his skills. Even though Gabriel was way older than Sora, in terms of martial arts and combats Sora was way more experienced than him.

Gabriel spent all his time sparring with Sora trying to battle against his intense speed. He also sparred with Danny fighting against his strong defense.

After he fought an opponent, he immediately got into another sparring section with another opponent. The sole purpose of this was to raised his Agility grade point and also to make him gain more stamina.

He was also learning how to master the use of his enhanced abilities. His hands and legs were both modified. His limbs were capable of releasing intense explosion under his control.

Doctor Mark took the Gene of a powered human with the ability of explosion and then synced this gene with the bionic systems in his body. The bionic system was so advanced that the explosive power was mostly converted to strength thereby strengthening the attacks of Gabriel.

His blow and kick attacks were now strong enough to easily affect powered humans. And with such power came a terrible toll on his body. Gabriel knew there was a limit to how many times he could use his explosive attack a day. But with the help of technology his legs were now capable of generating and storing kinetic energy as far as he kept moving around.

In other words as far as his legs were moving he could store many amount of energy for another attack.

Gabriel kept practicing to master his enhanced abilities in order to create certain moves on his own. It was a technique suggested by Sora.

The more Gabriel kept training the more he felt time running even more faster with the day of Representative getting close.

And just like that time passed by in a flash.

And the day finally came.

August 21st, 2501.

The day of the Representative tournament was finally here.

*Blink*Blink*

Yawn.

Gabriel woke up with a yawn while stretching his entire body on the bed. His room was still quite and dark.

Gabriel glanced towards his right side from the bed where there was an alarm displaying the time.

[5:30 AM]

‘5:30 Huh. I’m so worked up and excited that I even woke up before the 6:00AM alarm could ring out. So the long wait is finally over. Today is the day.’

Gabriel got up from the bed and did some few reps of push ups before brushing his teeth and having his bath. He quickly put on a white fitting gym outfit with the Stratton Dojo written on it.

‘This outfit is way better than the regular Gi. It’s way easier to move while wearing them.’

After Gabriel was done dressing he immediately started stacking the stuffs he needed for the day into his bag.

And when he was done he immediately came out of his room  to meet Machia, Tom and John. They were already awake and all dressed. Both Machia and John were seating in the dining room while breakfast was being served by Tom. Although John was still dozing off in his chair.

“Wow you guys are up early!”

“Have you forgotten we were the ones who taught you how to wake up early” Machia chuckled as he immediately gave the sleeping John a little slap on his head.

Slap!

“Hey! Go Gabriel I’m really cheering for you’ Huh?” John shrieked immediately as he woke up from his slumber looking all ridiculous before he his sense of reasoning finally kicked in.

“Hahaha. Gabriel I like this guy” Machia laughed as he pointed towards John who had a silly look on his face right now.

“So today is the big day Huh” Said Tom who was serving breakfast.

“Yeah”

“Well I’m wishing you a lot of luck Gabriel. You’ve really come a long way. So it give it your all”

“Yes I will Tom senpai. Thanks”

“Hey Kid! I have trained you under my care all these time so all I have to say to you now is... Go kick some fucking ass!” Machia said to Gabriel in his normal optimistic tone. His way of encouragement was a little bit off the charts but that was his own way of telling Gabriel Goodluck.

“Yeah. Gabriel Goodluck we will be watching you.” John said with a smile as he wished Gabriel his own Goodluck.

“Thanks bro”

“Anyways I’m gonna be late so we better eat fast.”

“Ohhh that’s right. Tom be fast with the food!”

“Hm. Look who’s talking you’re just sitting there doing nothing” Tom chuckled

They all had their breakfast in a rush and as usual Machia ordered a flight-car that took all of them to the Stratton Dojo.

Even if Gabriel had been attending this Dojo for a few months now which was always filled with people, today the atmosphere of the Dojo was totally different. The surrounding area of the Dojo were filled with a people. Mostly the entrance hall, they were filled with both middle-aged people and Dojo students.

The students were currently wearing tight fitting gym outfits just like Gabriel instead of their normal Gi. The Gym outfits had the Stratton Dojo name clearly written on it with a lion heard design inscribe on their backs.

Their gym outfits were totally the same except for the colors. They were all wearing different colors of these gym outfits.

The colors were the same usual colors that separated the ranks of the students which was Red, Blue and White.

As for the middle-aged people that were around, they were mostly just the guardians and close friends of the students that had come to watch the tournament.

And right now there was currently a cue in the entrance hall.

“Why is this place all filled up? Are they doing some kind of inspection or something?”

John inquired out of curiosity.

“Well they are currently collecting the phones of everyone and as soon as the tournament is done for the day they will return it back to them”

“Collecting people’s phones why? Why the hell are they doing that.”

“It’s to prevent idiots like you from recording the fight” Machia interjected as he explained to John.

“You see thing is, this is a Tournament being done inside the Dojo and it’s not the actual Demons Battle tournaments which can be displayed on the screen for just anyone to see. The sole purpose of this tournament is to select a representative for the Dojo.”

“The Representative has to be the strongest among all the students. With the students fighting to get that role, they’ll be going all out in their fight while using their special abilities.”

“You see the thing is. No Dojo wants to show off the techniques of their Representative fighters before they even get to participate in the Demons Battle because that would just be like opening their cards to their opponents. That way when the time of Demons Battle stage zero tournament comes their opponents won’t tell what to expect from their Representative fighters.”

“In order words it’s not just Stratton Dojo taking this security measures to keep the techniques and strength of their fighters in check but other Dojos are doing the same thing together”

“So When you see fighters fighting each other in the Demons Battle stage zero tournament it’s not just fighters fighting for the championship role, it’s also a war between different Dojos with their Representative fighters Representing them.”

“So yes the Stratton Dojo have to take the measure of securing any electronic devices from the audience” Machia concluded.

“Now it finally makes sense”

“Um...how about you guys cue up in the line too so that we can get in?” Gabriel said nonchalantly as he pointed towards the long line that had been formed in the entrance hall.

“Where the hell are you going?” John asked

“Well we the students in the powered humans section don’t have to cue up. We can get in using that entrance. It’s you guys and the regular humans students that’s cueing up. So laters.” Gabriel slowly walked away as he gave a silly smile to mock the situation of his friends.

And just like that the Stratton Dojo security cleared everybody and allowed everybody into the arena.

The arena was now filled with audience. Although this arena was not as big as the arena usually used in the main Demons Battle sport but it was still able to accommodate huge numbers of people.

The whole stadium was all noisy until the a voice was heard.

[ Welcome ladies and gentlemen!]

Enthusiastic Screams of the audience in the stadium immediately followed the commentary of the commentator. The arena was a giving out an intense energy of excitement from the screams.

[ It’s already time for the Representative tournament!!! Are you ready?]

“Yes”

The screams of yes filled the whole arena. Even just a mock tournament like this was getting the whole crowd of audience fired up. This was how popular the Demons Battle Sport is.

[Alright then! How about we introduce our contestants! Let’s welcome the white Gi students]

Immediately the white Gi students were called upon, a few students wearing the white fitting gym outfit walked out in an orderly manner. They walked towards the center of the arena  and formed two lines standing like soldiers. They all had their right hand on their chest.

In the Demons battle it was the students own way of paying homage to both their audience and their country. And among these white Gi students was Gabriel who was standing among the white Gi students with burning desires in his eyes.

[Now again introducing our Blue Gi students!!!]

The students in blue Gym outfits came out to join the white Gi students who were still standing in the middle of the arena.

[ Now I know these set of students is the ones you’ve all been waiting for. So why don’t we call them out then...]

The crowd was all fired up even before the commentator called out the next set of students.

[ Let’s welcome our very own Red Gi fighters!!!]

The whole arena became more noisier than ever as the red Gi students walked out with pride. Daniel was actually in the very front of the Red Gi students.

From the observations, this much screams were not just for the red Gi students alone but it was mainly for him. Daniel walked among the red Gi students with pride in his eyes.

He hasn’t won yet but he was already the star of the tournament.

The red Gi students all cued up with the other students.
