Chap 5 The Journey Begans.

The fourth box displayed an image of a tomato along with the number 50. Below it, the words 'Tomato Seeds' were written. As for the fifth and final box, it featured an image of a leaf, the number 50 in the bottom left corner, and the words 'Lettuce Seeds'.

Under all the boxes, bold letters were flashing, urging the reader to 'CONFIRM TO COLLECT THE REWARDS'

Circus shouted immediately after seeing the words. How could he ignore these rewards?

All the boxes morphed into thin light, leaving the package image visible. The package was now open. It had been opened, and the rewards in the five boxes had been collected.

Circus could see the coin symbol with G engraved on it at the top right corner of the screen. It was followed by number 20. He could also see his skill points. After closing the page with the package image, he returned to the inventory and found two boxes with tomato and lettuce images. Number 50 was on their bottom right corner.

It was in his profile that he found his strength. Great coins and skill points could also be observed from the profile.

After that, he took a look at his store, which was divided into two categories: combat and farming. The combat category contained combat skills and weapons, while the farming category contained farming equipment and tools, seeds, and other farming products.

Following that, he proceeded to inspect his store, which had been segregated into two distinct categories: combat and farming. The combat category encompassed combat skills and weaponry, whereas the farming category consisted of farming equipment, tools, seeds, and other related products.

Without making any purchases, he then directed himself towards the Quests Dashboard. This platform featured three categories: main quests, side quests, and growth quests. Within the Main Quests section, he found two quests. The details of these quests were as follows:

1. Create Your First Farm.

- It should be at least 10 square metres in size.

- It should have crops growing.

Rewards:

- Low-quality wooden chest.

- 100 EXP

- 10 skill points

- 30 Great coins

2. Master the following skills;

- Vegetable growing

- Weeding I

- Ploughing I

- Levelling I

- Manuring I

Rewards:

- 50 EXP

- 20 Great coins

- 5 skill points

In the SIDE QUESTS section, there were a total of four quests available, outlined as follows:

1. Prepare the land for your farm.

Rewards: 10 EXP & 5 Great coins.

2. Find a water source for your farm.

Rewards: 12 EXP & 6 Great coins.

3. Plant your first crops.

Rewards: 5 EXP & 2 Great coins.

4. Make at least one purchase in the store.

Rewards: 5 EXP & 2 Great coins.

Finally, he came to the GROWTH QUESTS section, which consists of a total of five quests.

1. Create at least a 1-acre farm.

- It should have crops growing.

Rewards:

- 500 great coins

- 50 skill points

2. Make your first harvest.

- It could be a partial or complete harvest of any crop.

Rewards:

- 50 Great coins

- 10 skill points

3. Reach Level 5

Rewards: 100 Great coins & 20 skill points.

4. Reach Ordinary rank.

Rewards: 500 Great coins & 50 skill points.

5. Gain at least 20 kg of strength.

- It should be gained from the system, not outside activities and practice.

Rewards:

- 10kg strength

- 100 Great coins

- 20 skill points

The rewards in the GROWTH QUESTS section had left a lasting impression on him, but he was well aware that he had a long journey ahead before he could attain them. However, all he needed was to take that first step and start.

His heart was filled with joy. He had found a place, equipment, and tools, and now he had stumbled upon a system that appeared to be incredibly beneficial, like a guardian angel. It was clear the heavens were on his side, and he felt a surge of motivation to begin his journey towards achieving the rewards. With the system's support, he knew that his efforts would be rewarded, and he was determined to give it his all. .

He rose from his spot and made his way towards the barrels of water. Covered in a mixture of dust and sweat, he looked dreadful. Therefore, he longed for a bath to wash away the grime and rejuvenate his tired body.

He pulled one barrel out of the storage and cleansed himself. The water had been sitting there for quite some time, making it slightly sticky. But what did it matter? At least it didn't have a foul odor.

As he scrubbed away the dirt, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and satisfaction. The cool water soothed his aching muscles, and he could already feel his energy being restored.

He felt refreshed. That's when he grabbed some bread, as it was almost time for lunch. Once he had eaten his fill, he lay down on the floor, which wasn't much different from the ground, in the uncovered part of the living room, which was rough and had plants growing.

With his hands supporting his head, serving as a makeshift pillow, he gazed up at the sky as the sun beamed down on his face. The rough texture of the floor scratched against his skin, but he didn't mind. He closed his eyes and let the warmth of the sun seep into his tired body, enjoying a moment of tranquility before continuing with his day. It was a beautiful moment.

After he believed he had sufficient rest, he proceeded to navigate through his system and reached the skills section. There, he began by mastering vegetable production skills. He hated the fact that he had to start by growing vegetables instead of more significant crops like rice and wheat.

Nevertheless, he understood that a baby must first crawl before standing and walking. He spent 5 skill points to master the skills, gradually assimilating knowledge about vegetable growing.

Within the system, a timer and a progress bar were displayed, indicating "Mastering in progress." Observing this, he knew he had to wait for ten minutes.

He could sense the assimilation of knowledge into his mind as he patiently waited for the progress bar to reach completion.

After ten minutes, he suddenly found himself acquainted with various vegetables, including vegetables he had never even known about, as well as the techniques to cultivate them. In Universalis, vegetables were seldom consumed. People were only aware of a few vegetables that were considered edible.
