Thomas sat in the cathedral the following day. Maybe seeing his mom was all he needed to be sane in this world.

He sat in there for over two hours, watching people walk in and make prayers and step out.

He sighed.

Maybe she doesn't come everyday or was he specifically hallucinating yesterday. He stood and decided to leave, but right outside the door, he stood face with her.

"Mom", he smiled wildly.

"Tommy", she smiled too and he hugged her.

"How long have you been here?", she asked as they sat outside the cathedral.

"Not so long enough, came to see you", he said.

"Oh", she mouthed with a smile.

"Do you always come here?", he asked.

"I work in the compound but once I'm done, I go in and make a little prayer", she said.

"I'll be waiting", he smiled and she nodded and walked in to make her little prayers.

When she was done, she came out to meet Thomas waiting for her as he said.

"Are you headed home now?" He asked.

She hesitated abit, "yeah".
