Chapter 12. Grand Opening

Early the next morning. Maximus was dressed in his immaculate blue suit, a gold wristwatch on his left wrist, his dark curly hair was combed to the back and tied with a golden ribbon giving him a small ponytail, a golden hairpin was inserted in his ponytail, Maximus looked every inch a rich European Prince. Meanwhile Anita's mother led her out to the field where Maximus was waiting for her, she looked so stunning. Dressed in a silk-satin evening dress with a V neckline which left her arms and shoulders exposed, plus it emphasized her bosom. She wore a golden circlet that appeared to be made out of small camellias woven together, in a word, she looked like 'Fairy Princess'. Maximus had spared no expense on getting her the best fashion Triton had to offer, he felt he had to make her smile always, which has been what he had been doing ever since he brought her to his villa, he also knew she will be a great help to him in future.

“Wow! You look stunning! Your gorgeous figure and angelic face might make it a bit difficult for me to socialize.” Maximus joked and laughed at his own joke, a blush found its way to Anita's face.

“Can you two not be too shameless? Stop making this old lady wish she was young again” Anita's mother berated them with a smile.

“Oh Aunty, you are beautiful as well. Come, I think its time we grace the occasion with our presence.” Maximus said as he walked towards the garage where Idris the driver stood waiting for the young master and his lady. Maximus and Anita didn't make him wait long.

“Take us to the company building Idris. Today everything becomes a reality.” Maximus said with a smile.

In front of a sixty storey building with glass mirror walls, a security detail in black outfit stood tall with their backs facing a podium, and behind the podium a red ribbon tied the doors of the magnificent building. A lot of people gathered in front of the podium, all these were people of great personalities, all superior family clans. One may ask why such prominent family clan heads and heirs will gather, all these was to see the rumored mister Dameon who bought the Dean Media Company building as well as became a black diamond card owner and also the current owner of the Villa now renamed the Dragonborn Villa. A man who made such huge waves in less than a month won't be someone ordinary, so all these family heads and heirs came to see just what kind of a man this was. Soon a man dressed in a western suit made of pure gold walked and stood on the podium, the ladies drew in a sharp breath as they could not believe how gorgeous this man was, while the men felt inferior to this man who had an aura of indescribable greatness.

“Hello everyone.” the man said with a smile which immediately melted the hearts of all females in the gathering while the men could not believe their ears as it seems even the man's voice was the sounds of angels.

“I welcome you all the opening of the Dovahkiin Corporation.” the man, Maximus continued his speech with a smile on his face.

“A lot of people once believed I will never stand amongst the elite members of Versaleen Empire, and I must admit I was one of them as I once did not have any hope of attaining a greater height than being the scum of the world.” he paused as he thought back to his past.

“But I stand before you here today a successful man. I believe that it doesn't matter if you are a noble or not, I do not care if you have affinity with elements or not, I do not care if people say you are the scum of the earth or not, what truly matters is what you think about yourself! What you think of yourself matters, if you think of yourself as a man with mighty talents then truly you are that man, if you believe you are a woman of your own destiny then truly i say to you that you control your own destiny.” Maximus said with firmness that infected the audience as they felt their blood pumping.

“No one has the right to dictate the how you rule your own world. As long as you have the talent to be great, then go ahead and be great. Dovahkiin Corporation is open to all, Noble and Commoners alike, ability users and all kinds of Talents. Dovahkiin Corporation is known as 'The Home of Talents'. Therefore today I shall open its doors to you all.” Maximus said as he turned around using the scissors to cut the red ribbon. The pumped up audience shouted and clapped for Maximus as his awesome speech had them pumped up for the future.

Maximus was doing his best to socialize and build up connections when a beautiful young lady dressed in a rose colored ball gown came up to him.

“Mister Dameon?” she called out to him in a sweet voice that will make do her biddings, Maximus could not deny the fact that he felt something in his heart, this lady is a real seductress. She held a a glass of red wine in her right hand.

“Hello Miss, how may I help you?” Maximus said as he showed forth his charming smile.

“You're not the only one who can make other do as you wish with just your looks” Maximus said in his mind.

“I hope we can cooperate with each other.” she said while sipping the glass of red wine.

“Forgive me Miss, but I didn't catch your name.” Maximus said with an air of a gentleman.

“Oh where are my manners. My name is Adeline Johnson, daughter of lord Charles Johnson, heiress of the Johnson family clan.” she said with a smile as if she expects Maximus to now bow and shower her with praises. Unfortunately for the young lady Maximus' next action and statement left her gobsmacked.

“Sorry, never heard of you nor your family clan.” Maximus shrugged as he said nonchalantly.

“If you wish to cooperate with Dovahkiin Corporation, I suggest you meet with the Chair lady, she's in charge of the company's affairs. Now if you will excuse me, I have a lot of high profiled personalities to chat with.” Maximus said and left her as she stood with a shocked expression.

“I'M A HIGH PROFILED PERSONALITY, YOU DUMB FUCK!!” She screamed in her mind.
