Even if they don't brand me as the thief, the bank will put two and two together when the news gets out, then I'll be hunted down. Right now, I have no power, no background, no failsafe. The Richardson can just send assassins once they get wind that I didn't die. I can't get my revenge if I'm dead. So right now, I'm all out of options."

What he wanted skills, an army of mercenaries, or even supernatural power to obliterate his enemies.

"Hello Miss." Maximus called to the receptionist who was a young lady in her mid-twenties. She looked pretty decent for a receptionist.

"I kinda forgot my phone at home due to some urgent matters. Is there any computer I can make use of to surf the Internet?" Maximus asked and put on my cutest boyish smile.

"Oh, so sorry, well you can make use of my laptop Sir?" She replied with a smile. Maximus thanked her.

Maximus was back in room, sitting on his bed and surfing the Internet. He was looking for a building that will serve in his best interest.

"Well, a wise man once said 'Go hard or go home', and besides, I've got the cash. I'll buy the High-Rise building." Maximus said with a smile. He memorized the phone number of the agent to call.

Once morning came, Maximus returned the laptop to the receptionist, along with a thousand dollar tip, this action of his put a huge smile on the pretty lady's face as she profusely thanked him. Maximus left the hotel and walked towards a phone terminal.

"Hello, this is Smithson Realty, how can I help you." A female voice was heard over the phone.

"My name is Maximus Dameon. I'd like to buy the High-Rise building and also pay for the renovation costs as well as the furniture and equipments that will needed for the renovation of the building." Ethan said.

"The High-Rise building is located at 1342 Moonstone Drive, Financial district. Please make the deal in person, good Sir." The female voice said. It seems she thought this was a prank call. It's understandable since a lot of people likes to play this sort of pranks.

"Okay, I will be there in two days then." Ethan agreed and hanged up.

After securing an appointment and letting them know exactly what he wanted, Maximus knew what his next plan was; get a rich personality. He had changed his name so as not to attract attention.

"Now.. to get a car." Maximus said and hailed a cab. The hotel had generously provided him with a clean set of clothes, courtesy of the receptionist, he nodded as he felt the $1,000 he tipped her was worth it.

At the Phantom's car dealership which was a place his family once bought cars, Maximus, who was holding a cheap suitcase was greeted by a well dressed salesman. Maximus could help but think that the salesman even looked more polished than himself.

"Welcome, sir! I'm Daniel. How can I assist you today?"

Maximus smiled. "I'm here to buy a car, would you be so kind as to show me what you have."

Daniel's expression was composed. Of course it might be due to Maximus' simple dressing that made the salesman not to be enthusiastic about the deal. "Right this way, sir."

As they toured the showroom, Daniel showcased various models, meanwhile Maximus remained unimpressed. He needed something to shut people up.. if he was going hard, then he should go all the way, so why in the ninth hell was this salesman showing him Buicks and Chevrolets!

Daniel took a glance at Maximus and noticed his frowned expression. "Perhaps something more... exclusive?" Daniel hinted.

'You think!!' Maximus almost snapped, but then took in a deep breath, and looked at the salesman. "Show me the exotic cars," Maximus said. "The ones only the truly wealthy can afford." He continued.

Daniel's gaze swept Maximus' attire. He deliberated for a moment, but then decided to do so. "Follow me, sir."

Daniel led Maximus to a secluded section. A glass-enclosed showroom for the elite.

A Lamborghini Veneno. A Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio. A Bugatti La Voiture Noire.

A sad smile played on Daniel's lips. Perhaps this guy was just a country bum as he thought, in the end, he might just buy a second hand Beetle.

"These are our crown jewels." Daniel said.

Maximus gaze drifted past the showcased models, and something caught his attention. A car that was set aside from the rest of the others.

Maximus turned to Daniel. "What about that car?" Maximus asked.

Daniel's expression turned solemn. "That, sir, is a limited edition. The only model of its kind."

"Why isn't it lined up with the others? Surely you want it to be sold, right?" Maximus asked with a bit confusion on his face, but his eyes never left the beautiful blue car.

Daniel sighed. "Because no one can afford it."

'Now that's exactly what I'm talking about! With this, I'll be able to set a standard' Maximus thought to himself as a smile crept to his face.

"What's the price?" Maximus asked.

Daniel's voice trembled. "We weren't planning to sell it. But if you're interested... $15 million."

'This would have been impossible a week ago. I don't know if I should be thankful to Agnes for what she did or what?'

"I'll take this one. Get the paperwork ready. I'll pay cash." Maximus said and turned around.

"S..sir, you're serious!? Not even the Young Master of the Zenith family could afford it, he could only settle for Rolls-Royce Phantom.." the salesman stopped when Maximus turned to him and handed him the suitcase. He has already willed the amount from the space ring into the suitcase.

"The money is in here. Get things done quickly, there's someone I really need to see when this is all over." Maximus said.

Daniel nodded and took the suitcase, he couldn't help but notice how heavy it was.. was $15 million really inside the cheap looking suitcase? He then looked at Maximus, "I apologise for being so excited Sir, I will get everything ready Sir. Do you have a driver's license?" The salesman asked. Maximus frowned as he had forgotten that he needed a driver's license to even drive his car. The salesman saw the frown and thought he had offended this rich customer of his. He immediately played the role of a mediator.

"I'm so sorry for asking Sir, I will handle everything." He said and rushed upstairs to his office.

Maximus was perplexed, what did he mean by 'handle everything'? He shrugged and returned to the waiting room, the door opened and a couple walked in. He turned around to see who it is. His expression immediately contorted.. in front of him were his elder stepbrother and his former classmate.. Jason Zenith and Sonia Holland.
