Jace woke up with a start. He was sweating profusely and even his palm was wet. He had just had a nightmare and it stirred him greatly.Jace looked at his palm again, then at his lower body, where he had been stabbed. It had healed greatly without a scar. Who would have thought he would kill someone or even still, people with his bare hands?Even though they had been labeled as bad people, Jace could not bring himself to believe it. “I did not take it! I swear, I did not steal anything!” the lady said, panting heavily. Her red hair was splattered across her sweating face as she pleaded. She had figured that there was no way out and had been cornered by the men. “Of course you did not, but who will believe that?” One of the three men who appeared to be the leader asked as he approached her with a club in hand. “W-what?” She stammered. “A lot of people have heard that you stole something, even if you didn't, and by now all they want to hear about is that you're dealt with.” “No! N-no, I didn't do it, please! Don't kill me!” she begged, but the men laughed. “We are not killing you dear, we only need you alive. You see, once we hand you over, your life will be in different hands." He explained with a sinister smile. The lady trembled when she heard those words. She scanned the area looking for a way out, but there was none. Suddenly, she began to cry. “Keep shut!” the leader ordered. But she continu
