Aiden nodded and got onto the scooter and the man drove away. The man driving the scooter had a frown on his face.

Though he couldn't believe that Aiden was going to have the money to buy the company, it was none of his business.

He had already called the owner and told him that he had gotten a buyer.

He had already been paid, so he couldn't care less if the other party was going to be able to buy the company.

Soon, the two arrived at a rather magnificent building. The building looked huge and one of the most beautiful in the area.

Aiden was shocked in his heart seeing this. All he thought was that the company he was about to buy was just a small company. He didn't expect the company to be this huge. What the heck was happening?

He wasn't going to care anyway. All he wanted was to acquire a company.

Stopping the scooter, the man alighted from it and so did Aiden. Just by the gate of the huge building was a medium-height figure in a Tang suit looking like he had been waiting for the two.

"Mr. Dominic, this is the man who wants to buy the company." The man introduced himself and then continued.

"I'll be taking my leave."

He then turned around and walked away even before Dominic was able to say anything.

"Good afternoon Mr. Dominic." Aiden greeted, stretching his hands forward for a handshake.

Dominic narrowed his brows as he stared at Aiden for a while. At first, he thought that it was a second rich generation who was willing to buy the company just for fun.

But after seeing it was Aiden and how the latter was dressed, he realized that it might not be the case, and thus, he felt reluctant. It was not as though he didn't want to sell the company, but there were underlying issues with it.

"Young man, are you sure you want to pursue the company?" Dominic narrowed his brows as he looked at Aiden.

Aiden was a little bit confused hearing what Dominic said. If he didn't want to purchase the company, he wouldn't be here in the first place.

"Yes I would like to," Aiden answered, sounding rather impatient.

Dominic felt a little bit confused hearing Aiden's tone. He could tell that the latter was rather impatient as if he couldn't wait to buy the company straight away.

He wondered why the latter was in a hurry and he couldn't help but take a second look at Aiden.

"But..."

"Isn't the company up for sale?" Aiden interrupted Dominic, his brows narrowing into a thin line.

"Yes, it is." Dominic was shocked in his heart wondering why Aiden was sounding impatient.

"Then we can begin the process." Aiden nodded, feeling rather unsatisfied with Dominic.

"I know you're rather in a hurry, but there's something I would like to tell you first." Dominic sighed, feeling rather helpless.

He couldn't understand what was wrong with Aiden and why the latter sounded so impatient.

"Then get on with it," Aiden scoffed, his voice turning cold as he was getting rather impatient.

He didn't mean to be rude, but the other party was delaying him. If they knew that they didn't want to sell the company to him, then they should have just said it.

There was no need to waste his time. He only had twenty-four hours and he couldn't afford to waste it.

"Fine." Dominic agreed and began.

"I have to tell you, about ten years ago, this company was the number one snack company in the whole of Oakridge, and it was worth over five hundred million."

"But then we invented a new snack and then it went wrong. We don't know where the product went wrong, but the snack happened to cause the death of many, and as a result, we were forced to close down." Dominic sighed.

Aiden frowned after hearing this. Some years ago, he heard about this incident, but since it had nothing to do with him, he didn't take it seriously. It turned out that this was the company.

But still, he couldn't care less about it and wanted the company anyway. After all, his life depended on it.

"I'm sure we were plotted against, as many of our staff took the snack, and nothing happened to them. But we were not able to beat the allegations." Dominic continued.

"We were forced to stop the production of the snack resulting in a huge loss. At the same time, the rest of our products were sabotaged and there was nothing we could do about it. That's why we are in this state."

"So young man I'm afraid you'll just be wasting your money if you are to buy the company. So I'd advise you to go to another place." Dominic concluded.

Aiden narrowed his brows as he looked at Dominic, though he was rather shocked when he heard this. He couldn't care less about it. He still wanted the company.

"Even the owner of the company has forsaken the company and asked me to put it up for sale." Dominic sighed, observing Aiden's expression as he spoke.

"It would be better if you don't dabble your hands into stuff you might not be able to handle."

"After all, the people behind the fall of the company are not ordinary, so I think It would be safe not to buy it," Dominic added.

"I understand your concerns. But I think I'm interested in the fall of the company and what happened, so I'm still willing to purchase the company." Aiden forced a smile.

Though he was interested, he was still running for his life, so he didn't care.

"I...."

"Mr Dominic, I'm afraid that you won't be able to change my mind. So I think you should just give up." Aiden interrupted Dominic.

Dominic sighed seeing that he was not able to convince Aiden. Since that was the case, he was going to have no other choice but to listen to the other party.

"Alright, I'll sell the company to you."

"Congratulations Mr. Aiden, the company is now yours." Dominic smiled, stretching his hands forward for a handshake.

"But I have not paid for the company?" Aiden was a little confused, so he looked at Dominic.

"You don't have to worry about that." Dominic shook his head.

"Though all I said was not a lie, I'm the owner of the company, and I'm not willing to let the company go down, so I'd like to work with you."

"Don't worry, I won't blame you if you were not able to revive the company," Dominic added.

"I see," Aiden muttered, not wanting to agree, but he had no other choice.

"Fine then, I agree with it." He forced a smile and took the handshake.

"Ding!"

"Mission Accomplished. The Snack Shack company is now the Hosts'' " The mechanical voice of the System rang just immediately after Aiden agreed.

He wasn't in a hurry to teach the man a lesson, not at all. After all, he had the upper hand, and when one had the upper hand, there was no need to squabble with someone like him."Where's the pain you were talking about?" The man scoffed, staring at Aiden seeing that there was no pain."You're in a rush ain't you?" Aiden grinned, patting the man's shoulder, at the same time, injecting a strand of his Qi into the man's body to stimulate the poison."I know you're a liar.....""Arghhhh!"A low guttural roar came from the man as he screamed harder than the first time, veins popping out of his head. The veins on his neck could be seen which was a testament of just how much he was yelling. The scream continued for about a minute or

Crash! The windscreen of the car came crashing the moment Aiden finished talking, the bullet lodged into the seat just right where Aiden's head was a few minutes ago showing whoever had shot the bullet had gone directly for a headshot. But Doc was a bit fast, and thus was able to react just as Aiden had commanded.Coupled with the fact that he had reduced the acceleration of the car, it was easier to stop the car and duck at the same time. The car came to a stop with a loud screeching sound. Since there were no cars on the road, the sudden stop of the car didn't cause any accidents."Doc, stay right here and protect Elsa, I'll be back soon," Aiden commanded, opening the door of the car, disappearing into the darkness.Seeing this, Doc instantly jumped to the back while Elsa made room for him, at the same time, he pulled out a blade, his eyes darting around like an owl looking for its prey.Aiden on the other hand moved quickly in the darkness, his eyes like a torch.
