"Sir, sign here," The doctor pointed at a place on the paper asking Aiden to sign.
"Also here," He continued after Aiden signed the papers pointing at another spot. "Thank you very much, we'll commence with the operation soon," The doctor smiled and then walked away quickly to arrange for the operation. Aiden sighed and walked to his sister's ward. Looking at the weak and skinny girl on the bed, he couldn't help but shake his head and his eyes became red. "Brother." A weak voice called just as Aiden reached his sister's side. "Kayla, " Aiden forced a smile holding his sister's bony hands while caressing them slowly. His sister had been sick since she was little and their parents were not rich enough to afford the operation. After they had passed away in the ghastly accident, the task of taking care of her had fallen upon him. Her condition had gotten worse and she had been hospitalized. Because he couldn't afford the money for a full treatment, the hospital could only help give just a minimal treatment. Also, he had no other choice but to work overtime most times just to be able to make ends meet. "You'll be fine, Kayla." Aiden consoled, looking at his sister. He had already paid for her surgery and had also made arrangements for her ward to be changed after everything. "But brother..." Kayla called Aiden, her eyes red as tears threatened to flow down from them. "Don't worry, you'll be fine." Aiden interrupted, caressing her hands. He knew what she was thinking, but he didn't say anything. After all, he also didn't know the origin of the system. After a while, the doctors soon came and wheeled Kayla into the theater room while Aiden watched. Heaving a sigh, Aiden shook his head and walked away. There was no need for him to stay any longer. He still needed to buy a company. He had spent just five million dollars out of a hundred Million dollars and was still left with ninety-five million. He didn't know where to start. He was just as confused as ever. How was he going to buy a company? He had to think of a way, but no matter how much he racked his brain, he just couldn't come up with a solution. Aiden panicked, but there was nothing he could do. His time was running out and he needed to buy a company, but he couldn't see a company out for sale. "Take a deep breath." He muttered under his breath and brought out his phone. Aiden then searched the number of companies that were up for sale. Scrolling through G****e, Aiden was discouraged. What the heck was he seeing? All the companies he was seeing were over a hundred million. How the heck was he supposed to be able to buy a company? Aiden stood on the stop and wouldn't stop scrolling. He knew he was doomed if he didn't find something suitable. In a flash, an hour was gone, and Aiden was still scrolling through G****e, trying to find a company up for sale, but he couldn't find even a single one, and this made him depressed. He was not ready to die yet, so he had to find a company, no matter what it was going to take. After a while, Aiden still couldn't find a company. The least company he could find was a hundred million dollars, and he had already spent some of the money to care for his sister. It seemed like he was going to have to die because he didn't know what to do next. After that, he was a little bit helpless and had no idea what to do next. Just as Aiden was about to stop searching, his eyes suddenly caught something and he froze. "The Snack Shack Company is up for sale at the price of fifty Million Dollars," The advertisement by the side read. Seeing this, Aiden was immediately interested; after all, he had been looking for a company, so he clicked on it. The page loaded and it took him to a different site where it read. For more information, contact the number below. Then there was a number right under it making Aiden smile widely. There was no way he was going to give up on this. He was going to get this company. After all, he didn't want to die. As for what the company produced or what it was all about, he didn't care and just wanted to buy the company for the sake of avoiding death. After all, he was going to die in the next twenty-four hours if he didn't buy a company. Copying the number, he proceeded to call the other party, and soon the call went through, and it was picked. "Hello, who's this?" A hoarse voice came from the other end of the phone. "Hi, I saw the advertisement for the sale of The Snack Shack company and would like to purchase it," Aiden replied, he could feel his heart pounding against his chest. "Text me your location; I will come to pick you up. I'm just an agent and don't own the company, I'll take you to the owner of the company." The hoarse voice replied. "Sure." Aiden nodded and then ended the call. Then he texted the other party his location while he waited. He was not afraid of being scammed. He was not a fool and knew well what he was doing, so there was no way he was going to follow the other party blindly. Soon, an old scooter, driven by a tall, lanky man who had a rugged look on his face, stopped in front of Aiden. "Are you Aiden Sinclair?" The man asked, gazing at Aiden with a frown on his face. "Yes, I am." Aiden nodded without any hesitation. The man looked at Aiden for a while scrunching his brows as he looked at him, but after a while, he said, "Hop on, I'll take you to the owner of the company." The man said.Latest Chapter

"Hello Scott," Aiden said, answering the call while still wondering the reason Scott called. "Dr. Aiden, it's been a while," Scott's cheerful voice came from the other end of the phone. "My sister is organizing a banquet for her birthday today, so she thought to invite you," Scott continued, directly stating the reason he was calling. He knew Aiden didn't like the long talks of formalities, so he just went straight to the point. "Should I send an invitation card?" Scott inquired, pausing for Aiden to reply. "Sure, send it over, I'll be there," Aiden agreed without hesitation. This would be a good chance to get to know the other families in Oakridge and see which ones were worth making friends with. He had already offended the Harrison and the Ross Families, though they didn't know he was the one as he had beaten Jake and Lucas. Besides, he heard they were looking for a doctor to help them treat their sons as they were in coma. He was sure they would have heard about him treati
System Rewards
Kayla grinned evilly and continued to eat as though she hadn't just casually thrown a bomb. Aiden on the other hand continued to eat while waiting for Elsa to recover. Things were going well currently and the System's mission for bringing back the Snack Shack to its past glory was also completed though the system was yet to issue the reward. The farm had also been set up. His herb farm too was also blooming and now he had a few years old herbs in his garden. In fact they were all more than ten years old. Sometime later, Aiden planned to make his Scar and the others cultivate within the array. This would be far more effective than anything, though he still wasn't really satisfied with the array and wanted to improve it. Lazy Kayla didn't care about the herbs farm, else, she would have noticed and would have long asked questions. With that going well, Aiden was well assured there weren't going to be any problems. Though he knew this was only the beginning. It had only been two we

Walking into the Villa, Aiden smiled, sitting at the dining table with Elsa and Kayla."There's your food," Elsa spoke, pushing a plate to Aiden who nodded and began eating.Ever since Elsa began living with them, Kayla had skillfully delegated the role of cooking to Elsa.Though Aiden tried to talk her out of it as she was quite busy, handling the factory matters. But she refused stating it was merely something she loved doing. This made Aiden feel helpless. There was nothing he would be able to do. She wouldn't stop even if he begged her to.Ring!Elsa's phone suddenly rang disrupting the perfect silence in the sitting room. Answering the phone, Elsa frowned slightly."You need more bags?" She muttered as though she couldn't believe her ears."Yes dear, the orders are flocking in, so we need to work harder," Dominic's old voice came from the other end of the phone."Alright sir, I'll arrange for it to be transported," Elsa agreed, putting down the phone."Elsa, aren't you forgetting

Price Of Arrogance
Scarlett's expression turned dark instantly. What the heck was this idiot doing?"We should report back to the force with our findings, not give it to some stinky doctor," Justin glared at Aiden before turning to Scarlett. At this moment, Scarlett had a headache. What the heck was this idiot thinking? Did he think she didn't want to take it back? This was a poison for heaven's sake. And the worst part was that no one would be able to extract the poison when it gets into the body.Unlike other poison, this one was so potent that even touching you might get you poisoned. She had seen it with her younger brother and if it was not for the fact they were lucky to have Aiden by their side, Scott would be long gone and yet, that was what this idiot wanted to mess with?"Justin," Scarlett called, managing to suppress her rage,"That thing in your hands is not an ordinary substance, it would be best if you just hand it over to Dr. Aiden, that'll make this place safe for all of us," Scarlett ad
