DEEP THOUGHTS

He tried to search the table again for the third time. When he cannot find it he tried to search the place near the table.

He was busy searching for the bracelet until someone bumped into his head. He was surprised to see Aurora.

"What are you still doing here?" Aurora asked him with uneasiness.

"Nothing, I'm just finding something." Aurora simply nodded the walked away.

"Wait.." He grabs Aurora in one of her arms. Her eyes focus on where his hand lay then he suddenly gets his hand back.

"Ahhmm, if by any chance, have you seen a bracelet like this?" He showed her the picture of the bracelet on his cell phone. Aurora just stands still.

"No, I didn't. If I were you I will stop searching for it. They always clean the room as soon as the set is finished." She said and walked away.

"Really" This time he doesn't know what to do. He asked every maintenance and janitor he saw but nobody saw it.

He even tried to search every trash bin he saw but he can't find it. Now, he is anxious and didn't know what to do. "What will I tell her if she asked?" Getting her angry is the last thing we want.

"Don't lose that bracelet; it will give bad luck if you lose it." He closed his eyes tight.

The next day.

He can't appreciate the lunch box that Rhianne gave him. I know that the food is delicious but he is more anxious and guilty about what happened.

"What are you doing? You have to eat a lot. You have a lot of work right?" He just nodded and put a spoonful of food in his mouth. After he finished eating he gave the lunch box to her.

Rhianne took the lunch box but her eyes fixed on his wrist. He felt anxious and pulled his wrist.

"Where is the bracelet?" His gaze diverted to the plant at the back of her.

"Ahhh, I hid it in a safe place. So I will not lose it." She just smiled though he knows she is upset.

"I'm sorry it's just quite precious." He hugged her and shut his eyes tight of his lies.

"I know, It's just the bracelet is supposed to be worn."

"I'm sorry." That's the thing he can say.

"It's ok."

"Really?"

"Yes," He felt that she moves as she nodded. Rhianne said it but that day their relationship begins to wear off.

Whenever they are together, her nagging is getting on his nerves. She is also starting to get jealous of Aurora.

He knows part of him is at fault because he cannot give her a proper relationship status. It makes her feel that their relationship is unstable. 

"I want you to choose a date for your wedding." His father's words pulled her back to reality. They are currently in his office.

"I already told you that I will not marry Aurora. Papa." This is the first time that he disobeys his father. It felt wrong

especially when I know that he is just concerned about his future. His father knows him best.

"I am not asking you. It is an order." He saw the determination in his father's eye.

"You can't force me." But Rhianne weighs heavy in his heart that he can't just neglect. He put a picture on the table and saw Rhianne and him in a restaurant. He felt shaken and doesn't know what to do.

"Is it because of this girl?" He doesn't confirm nor deny it, even though it is quite obvious.

"Do you think that love can help you to maintain your power and position in this company?"

"You better think again, Aurora influences both public and private company affairs, she also has a family that can support her and you.

While this girl doesn't even have a dream or goal to exceed her job. Tell me how in the hell can she help you?" He stands straight, even if his relationship with Rhianne is currently unstable that doesn't mean he will let his father humiliate her. 

"It is not your problem."

"It is my son, you have to be wise and think clearly." He walked away.

He understands that his father makes sense because he cannot stay in that position for just anything.

He knows he sacrifices a lot. He just shakes his head because he could not believe that he entertaining the idea. Aurora is

indeed more ambitious, and influential not to mention the rich family background, and Rhianne is the simple-minded person who loves him.

If other people will about know about his relationship with Rhianne, probably they will ask why?. That complicated things because if you will see it from reality's perspective there are lots of reasons why he has to break up than stay in a relationship with Rhianne.

The only reason that is making the relationship work is that she is Rhianne Condes, his only love. He cannot find someone like her in this lifetime. 

He is currently driving to the party held by the company. It is held inside a high-priced subdivision that an ordinary vehicle is not allowed inside.

His heart went haywire when he saw a familiar woman walking on the side of the street "You got to be kidding me!". The main gate and the location where the event was held are two kilometers long and Rhianne just walked.

He can tell because she walked barefoot with her sandals in her hand. He felt pure pain when he just passed by her, he wanted desperately to stop and ask her to ride with him but he can't because his father and Aurora are in the car.

Even when the event started the picture of her while walking is on my mind and, I felt somehow guilty. He reaches for his cell phone and texted her.

"Where are you?"

"At table twenty, I am eating. Why?" His eyes search for her and he saw her eating.

"Why are you walking alone earlier, where is the service?"

"Ahhh, I came from another place so I walked by myself, anyway I am used to it. Walking is my meditation session you know." 

"Next time tell me if you have a problem, I can help you somehow."

"I said I am ok and Dean, I am eating. Bye..." He saw her eating to her heart's content while chatting with her co-

employee.

Dean felt uneasy, everyone might talk to her and chat with her but he cannot, even when they were in the same room.

He cannot even tell the world that she is fucking his. 

"Stop flirting with her." He wanted to tell that to the man she is talking to over the meal. Rhianne said she is just a friend

and a co-worker. He has a lot of patience but he didn't know how long.

At that party, he is struggling.

SATURDAY DATE 

Dean felt that there is something wrong with Rhianne.

He ate silently while watching Rhianne eating her food. She is abnormally quiet. It makes him feel more anxious than ever. He even thinks that he is being possessed.

A bell always rang whenever someone opens the door and he can't help to be distracted by it.

They are currently in a restaurant eating their favorite food. They have spicy chicken wings with garlic, a Super combo burger, and unlimited drinks. They always have a date when it's Saturday.

Rhianne lifts her head and smiles at him. "She's not nagging." He thinks' suspiciously that it's bugging him.

"Honey, it's your lucky day. You can ask me everything; I'll do it for you." He can't help but touch her forehead.

"Are you sick by any chance?" He put her hands away.
