CHAPTER 31

He finally evaded several of them before he met the boss - Griffith, the crime kingpin.

Griffith’s body was a deadly canvas of terror. His body was a tapestry of scars and scary-looking tattoos and his teeth were like deadly rows of silent daggers. His presence was a cruel shadow of menace and his aura exuded fear.

But what was more scary was that he had a snake around his neck which was curling and crawling slowly in a relaxed manner but with a deadly gust of venom.

Mr. Billing had never seen anyone create so much fear in him before. His breath was held in a deadly terror as his heart pounded in a way that almost ripped out of his chest.

Griffith curled his mouth dramatically and made a whistling sound, flaring his hands as if to tell him to back off.

The young man who escorted him knew exactly what Griffith was signaling about. “Hey, pull off your shoes.”

Mr. Billing turned his gaze toward the young man. Did he just tell him to pull off his shoes? What was the logic behind that? He
