CHAPTER 32

Griffith handed the substance in his small knife over to one of his men to pressure Mr. Billing into taking a sniff. “Come on, go give him this one.”

The big guy’s face was very stern and cold as he angled the knife towards Mr. Billing’s face.

“Come on, just a sniff mister,” Griffith encouraged in a fake tone of mockery.

“No, please. I don't want it—I don't want any of it. I didn't come here for this, I don't want to have this,” Mr. Billing uttered in a cry for help as the big guy nudged his head upwards with his hands and shoved the knife towards his nose.

Griffith then raised two fingers into the air to signify the big guy to let him be.

Mr. Billing then heaved a sigh of relief, his breath steadying in an ease of tension.

Griffith then followed it up by giving another signal with his mouth making a whistle for everyone around him to excuse him so that he could have a private time with Mr. Billing.

All of the men who surrounded Griffith went their way as they made fun elsewhere.
