Rose felt a need to apologize because it would have been her fault if something were to happen and there was a crash.

She stretched her neck out of the car and her voice was tinged with remorse. “I am sorry about that Sir.”

She turned on the ignition of her vehicle in a bid to restart but as the engines were turned on, she looked into her side mirror and noticed that the same guy from the other vehicle was approaching her.

What the hell? She thought. Had she not apologized already? Or did she hit his vehicle without knowing? Why can’t he just be on his way already? She was already getting late to Brody’s school and she knew there was going to be some trouble if Mr. Lawrence learned that Brody was not picked up from school on time.
