[(Ding!)]
[The player has elapsed his time duration in the abyssal horror realm] [Congratulations on surviving] [All rewards can be reviewed in the notification tab] As if being sucked into a vacuum, Nuel felt as if his astra form was being pushed out of his physical form. In an instant, the valley of death he had fought with the monsters vanished into nothing and with a loud gasp, he jacked up from where he was lying. He stretched his hands into view, hurriedly observing the fresh cuts he had suffered in the abyssal horror, but surprisingly, they were no longer there. His body felt light as if he hadn't been in a battle and had been resting for a long while instead. “Where am I?” Nuel finally questioned his reality, not sure what had happened while he was gone. The last straw of the world he saw before he was sent into horror by the system was at the hospital, but now, he was somewhere different. He was lying on a bed that was laid with fresh and clean sheets that covered his legs all the way to his torso. His chest was embalmed with some bandages, over the area where the Kraelgor from the hospital had slashed him. The room, a big plush construct was enough to fit in five men at most as roommates. It had two windows on opposite edges which gave room for enough lighting. An ancient book shelf was placed at the farthest corner of the room with basic furniture lying around. Another shelf was carefully joined to the book shelf and this shelf held different weapons and swords for combat. Nuel was confused about where he was. He had no slightest clue about what had happened while he was out and why he was suddenly in a strange room. Perhaps it was Khaos who had brought him there, he had thought. While still ruminating on questions he had no one to give answers to, Nuel decided to check the system. “System.” He called. [What would you like to be shown, player?] “Show me the rewards from the abyssal horror.” The system chimed, displaying a separate tab for Nuel to see. [All acquired loot from the abyssal horror] Cobblestones: 56 [(Cobblestones can be swapped to make in-system trades or can be used by the player to create desired weapons)] Health Elixir: 1 [(Health Elixir are rare potions players can use to heal himself in times of trouble. Do note that the system also offer sale for health elixirs when none can be looted from beasts)] Beast core: 2 [(Beast cores: Beast cores can be used to create magical artifacts, such as talismans, amulets or other enchanted items)] Crystals: 40 [(Acquired crystals can be used for trade in the real world and can be exchanged amongst other players)] “There are other players too?” Nuel said to himself, carefully placing his hand under his chin. “I thought I'm the only one who has this cheat system, but it seems I'm not alone after all.” He sighed. “I guess I will have to find these players.” [(Ding!)] [The player has received a side quest] [The player is required to find another player and make his first exchange] [Reward: A system title] “This makes it all easy now.” He said with a scoff, making an attempt to step out of bed. The door suddenly opened with grace and someone walked in. For a moment, Nuel wasn't sure how he should present himself. Should he feign he was still asleep so he could source for some details if the visitor was going to make some pronouncements to his unconcious self or perhaps, stay as he was? Nuel decided to follow the latter and he retracted his attempt to step out of bed. The visitor walked in slowly, holding a tray that held a water jug, a small cup and a vial. The tray bearer, a young beautiful woman with extremely long hair which was elegantly draped over her body like a shimmering gown, gracefully covering her voluptuous curves which were almost in bare sight due to the skin tight gown she was wearing which had two side slits that stretched to her thighs. Her skin was smooth and well toned with silky delight and her warm face spoke many charms unheard. Seeing Nuel awake already, she was forced to stop in her tracks, perhaps surprised he had woken up a bit earlier than she had expected. Neither of them was going to push the first words. Nuel on the other hand was trying his best to take her image off his mind, but he couldn't help but praise her beauty a thousand times within mere seconds. Finally, she broke into a small smile and began to move towards Nuel. She gently placed the tray in her hands on the side table and filled the empty cup of the tray with some water. All Nuel could do was take side peeks at her while she did her job. After filling the cup with water, she turned at Nuel and handed the cup to drink some of its content while she watched like she was his mother. “Thank you.” Nuel, who hadn't realized how thirsty he was until he had doused the water appreciated. Again, she smiled at him without a word, moving closer to Nuel with her slender fingers. Her thumb finally touched the side of Nuel's lip, carefully wiping the droplet he had failed to wipe off. Her subtle act caused a jinx within Nuel. For sure, he loved how careful she was with him, but then again, he doesn't know her from anywhere. She could be a demon or a threat to him. Nuel suddenly grabbed her wrist, his azure eyes turning cold as he spoke the first words to her. “Who are you?” Before she could respond, a strange gust of wind howled through the room, like a demon's wail. The air vibrated with an otherworldly energy, making Nuel's skin crawl. A faint, sickly green light flickered to life, casting an eerie glow across the room. The presence felt malevolent, like a demon was spawning.Latest Chapter
A Quest’s Reward
“Since we are all done with the introduction, shall we?” Kanji said, making his way towards the entrance of the instant dungeon. He stepped through it and the other members followed according to the order of introduction.Nuel also followed after, the swirling energy around the gate of the dungeon sucking him into the dungeon like a fluff of nothing.Stepping through the rift and descending into the dungeon, Nuel took a quick inspection of the dungeon he had stepped into.Kael was quick to light a torch with his fire ability; a blue flamed mana energy, and he spread the spell to other torches that hung around the walls of the dungeon, pulling the darkness that cloaked around into the past.In the distance, they could hear the faint sound of dripping water pooling in stagnant puddles, mingling with the unsettling creaks and groans of crickets and tiny insects. The air was thick and musty, filled with the scent of mold and decay. Rough, uneven floors were scattered with debris, and the

“Friends?” Khaos asked with a tender smile sitting on his lips. Before Nuel could give him a reply, Leesa's voice was heard from beyond the reeds, collecting the attention of both Nuel and Khaos at once. “Brother!” She enthusiastically waved with a golden smile. Khaos shook his head, very much aware of her intentions. He knew Leesa had only shown up for Nuel and he was merely an excuse for her to ride on. “Let's head down for now.” Khaos suggested, already taking his leave. Nuel also followed and soon they were getting near Leesa. She was standing like an obedient pupil with her eyes full of life worth a thousand sparkles. She had changed her clothes to a more casual combat suit which every other student of the academy owned. Her suit hugged her curves so tightly as she stood there. She was playing with her toes in the ground as she suddenly grew nervous with Nuel fast approaching. Her arms recoiled to the back, pushing out her chest into the air while her hair had been held up
Training Dolls
Later that evening, Nuel found his way into a long field of reeds present at the outskirts of Valtor's family academy.Victor Valtor had blessed him after his awakening and Nuel was made to undergo a cleansing that renewed the substance of mana into his being.Victor Valtor had suggested Nuel put his newly found ability to a test while he awaited a call up from any adventurer guild ready to take him up as a member within the academy.Nuel, arriving at the field of reeds, found a suitable place to practice. He could notice some dolls built in the form of scarecrows lined at the center of the reed field and he thought he could put them to use.But first he had something important to check out.“System.” He called, tenderly working out his knuckles.[System update complete][The players awakening has been successfully synchronized with the system, eradicating the anomalies][Welcome back, player]“Show me my status.” Nuel said.Name: Nuel AinsworthClass: SummonerRace: Half Human [50%],
The Awakening
As Nuel knelt down before the altar with his murderous intent aura swirling round about him, his mind reeled back to the conversation he had had with Victor Valtor moments before they were ushered into the auditorium.“They never saw you as one of them, Nuel. The Philikio family only kept you around because you have something in you which has to be annihilated.”“What do you mean by that? I am just a mere hunter, what do I possess that could possibly bring death closer to me?” Nuel asked with confusion boldly written all over his face.Victor Valtor walked towards an oval shaped standing mirror, allowing the ladies-in-wait to drap his holy regalia over his shoulder.About five ladies began to tend to him, preparing him for the awakening ritual of Nuel Ainsworth and other students of the Valtor's academy that had reached the stage of awakening.“You know something, don't you? There is more to why the Philikio family wants me dead, is there not?” Nuel continued as he couldn't ponder on
Meeting Aunt ZiXuan
Victor Valtor walked through the portal he had opened and Nuel didn't hesitate before going after him. After all, the portal would be leading him to where his aunt was. After Nuel had walked into the portal, Khaos Valtor also followed after and the brimming edges of the otherworldly linkage closed up with smooth precision. The students who were present in the hallway could only watch all this unfold before them, leaving clustered murmurs about the new subject of discussion— Nuel in its wake.***The portal reappeared in front of an old Japanese styled room with two paper doors held closely together with fine wood.Victor Valtor turned at Nuel, the look in his eyes asking if Nuel was ready to see his aunt again.Nuel gave him the go ahead look and Victor Valtor sealed the contact with a slight nod.The doors of the room opened up with smooth precision, granting entrance to the visitors. The interior of the room was extremely cozy, lined with ancient talismans amulets and mana pots.A
