[(Ding!)]
[The player has elapsed his time duration in the abyssal horror realm] [Congratulations on surviving] [All rewards can be reviewed in the notification tab] As if being sucked into a vacuum, Nuel felt as if his astra form was being pushed out of his physical form. In an instant, the valley of death he had fought with the monsters vanished into nothing and with a loud gasp, he jacked up from where he was lying. He stretched his hands into view, hurriedly observing the fresh cuts he had suffered in the abyssal horror, but surprisingly, they were no longer there. His body felt light as if he hadn't been in a battle and had been resting for a long while instead. “Where am I?” Nuel finally questioned his reality, not sure what had happened while he was gone. The last straw of the world he saw before he was sent into horror by the system was at the hospital, but now, he was somewhere different. He was lying on a bed that was laid with fresh and clean sheets that covered his legs all the way to his torso. His chest was embalmed with some bandages, over the area where the Kraelgor from the hospital had slashed him. The room, a big plush construct was enough to fit in five men at most as roommates. It had two windows on opposite edges which gave room for enough lighting. An ancient book shelf was placed at the farthest corner of the room with basic furniture lying around. Another shelf was carefully joined to the book shelf and this shelf held different weapons and swords for combat. Nuel was confused about where he was. He had no slightest clue about what had happened while he was out and why he was suddenly in a strange room. Perhaps it was Khaos who had brought him there, he had thought. While still ruminating on questions he had no one to give answers to, Nuel decided to check the system. “System.” He called. [What would you like to be shown, player?] “Show me the rewards from the abyssal horror.” The system chimed, displaying a separate tab for Nuel to see. [All acquired loot from the abyssal horror] Cobblestones: 56 [(Cobblestones can be swapped to make in-system trades or can be used by the player to create desired weapons)] Health Elixir: 1 [(Health Elixir are rare potions players can use to heal himself in times of trouble. Do note that the system also offer sale for health elixirs when none can be looted from beasts)] Beast core: 2 [(Beast cores: Beast cores can be used to create magical artifacts, such as talismans, amulets or other enchanted items)] Crystals: 40 [(Acquired crystals can be used for trade in the real world and can be exchanged amongst other players)] “There are other players too?” Nuel said to himself, carefully placing his hand under his chin. “I thought I'm the only one who has this cheat system, but it seems I'm not alone after all.” He sighed. “I guess I will have to find these players.” [(Ding!)] [The player has received a side quest] [The player is required to find another player and make his first exchange] [Reward: A system title] “This makes it all easy now.” He said with a scoff, making an attempt to step out of bed. The door suddenly opened with grace and someone walked in. For a moment, Nuel wasn't sure how he should present himself. Should he feign he was still asleep so he could source for some details if the visitor was going to make some pronouncements to his unconcious self or perhaps, stay as he was? Nuel decided to follow the latter and he retracted his attempt to step out of bed. The visitor walked in slowly, holding a tray that held a water jug, a small cup and a vial. The tray bearer, a young beautiful woman with extremely long hair which was elegantly draped over her body like a shimmering gown, gracefully covering her voluptuous curves which were almost in bare sight due to the skin tight gown she was wearing which had two side slits that stretched to her thighs. Her skin was smooth and well toned with silky delight and her warm face spoke many charms unheard. Seeing Nuel awake already, she was forced to stop in her tracks, perhaps surprised he had woken up a bit earlier than she had expected. Neither of them was going to push the first words. Nuel on the other hand was trying his best to take her image off his mind, but he couldn't help but praise her beauty a thousand times within mere seconds. Finally, she broke into a small smile and began to move towards Nuel. She gently placed the tray in her hands on the side table and filled the empty cup of the tray with some water. All Nuel could do was take side peeks at her while she did her job. After filling the cup with water, she turned at Nuel and handed the cup to drink some of its content while she watched like she was his mother. “Thank you.” Nuel, who hadn't realized how thirsty he was until he had doused the water appreciated. Again, she smiled at him without a word, moving closer to Nuel with her slender fingers. Her thumb finally touched the side of Nuel's lip, carefully wiping the droplet he had failed to wipe off. Her subtle act caused a jinx within Nuel. For sure, he loved how careful she was with him, but then again, he doesn't know her from anywhere. She could be a demon or a threat to him. Nuel suddenly grabbed her wrist, his azure eyes turning cold as he spoke the first words to her. “Who are you?” Before she could respond, a strange gust of wind howled through the room, like a demon's wail. The air vibrated with an otherworldly energy, making Nuel's skin crawl. A faint, sickly green light flickered to life, casting an eerie glow across the room. The presence felt malevolent, like a demon was spawning.Latest Chapter
Meeting Aunt ZiXuan
Victor Valtor walked through the portal he had opened and Nuel didn't hesitate before going after him. After all, the portal would be leading him to where his aunt was. After Nuel had walked into the portal, Khaos Valtor also followed after and the brimming edges of the otherworldly linkage closed up with smooth precision. The students who were present in the hallway could only watch all this unfold before them, leaving clustered murmurs about the new subject of discussion— Nuel in its wake.***The portal reappeared in front of an old Japanese styled room with two paper doors held closely together with fine wood.Victor Valtor turned at Nuel, the look in his eyes asking if Nuel was ready to see his aunt again.Nuel gave him the go ahead look and Victor Valtor sealed the contact with a slight nod.The doors of the room opened up with smooth precision, granting entrance to the visitors. The interior of the room was extremely cozy, lined with ancient talismans amulets and mana pots.A

The hallway suddenly fell into a huge hush as the once passing by students sidelined themselves along the corridor, watching the drama between Nuel and Khaos unfold. And then, a quiet murmuring began to escape from their lips, raising questions on who the man holding Khaos by the neck was. Some who had sighted Khaos arrival at the Valtor's family academy with an injured Nuel a few hours ago began to spread the news, infact sharing more fabricated stories that were far from the truth. It wasn't long the eyes of many of the students watching began to taunt Nuel. It was very obvious a huge portion of them hated him already even though they do not know a thing about him.“I heard he's a hunter of dark magic users, but he hasn't awakened yet.” A weakling boy with big glasses gossiped, pushing back the frame of his glasses to add spice to how serious he was about his tale about Nuel.“Tell me more, Raj!” His friend asked hurriedly, suddenly invested in knowing more about what he knew about
The Valtor’s Academy
Nuel rolled his eyes. "Ever the dramatic entrance," he said as Khaos emerged from the commotion.Khaos Valtor offered a humble smile at Nuel's comment about him.“It's good to see you're back— alive.” Khaos said, walking towards him.“I have always had it rough, so this is probably nothing.” Nuel replied. For some reason, he felt comfortable talking to Khaos just like he was a friend. It was just easy having a talk with him and that was all, perhaps there would be more even though they had only met a few hours ago.“I would really appreciate it if you let go of my lady's wrist.” Khaos continued with the most unhinged smile settled on his face.Nuel was suddenly drawn back to this reality. He was still holding the lady's wrist and it seemed Khaos didn't like this much.“Your woman?” Nuel asked jokingly.“Yes!” Khaos replied without thinking twice. After all, no sane man who had claimed that woman for himself would think twice before declaring she was his.Nuel gave a dry chuckle.“Do

Abyssal Horror II
[The player has purchased two steel dagger][Congratulations on your purchase, your system token balance is currently at 8,000 Gold Coins]Two rugged, steel daggers with a sturdy, single-edged blade appeared in his hands. They had a simple, textured grip, and a minimalist guard, optimized for close-quarters combat and slashing. The daggers had a side hilt on the dagger that was more of a quillon or crossguard, designed to protect the user's hand from incoming attacks rather than provide a secondary grip.Nuel held both weapons firmly as he stood in the center of the valley of death. More Kraelgors had begun to spawn out of nothing while the existing one, waiting to wage war against him as he stood. The Kraelgors made a furious shriek together, all at once and their ghastly wings vibrated at each sound they made.[(Ding!)][Time limit till end of abyssal horror: 1:00:00]Nuel wasn't so sure if he would survive this terror by himself or not as the situation in the realm was not on his s
Abyssal Horror
For a brief second, Nuel doubted his prowess in the presence of the beastly creature that stood a distance away from him.He had never fought a beast as such neither does he have his gun to take down the beast— only if it would work on the creature. Before he could prepare himself while observing areas on the creature's body that could be its weak point, the beast; Kraelgor had started to make a move.Taking giant leaps according to the size of its limbs, Kraelgor had a little more areas to jump to close up the distance between itself and Nuel.Nuel on the other hand, seeing no chances of pinpointing his areas of attack on the beast also took charge at it.“Nuel, don't!” Khaos voice broke through out of nowhere, but Nuel had already picked up his running boots. Before he could retract his steps, Kraelgor was already a swing away from him. The beast swung its rickety arm at Nuel, whipping him in the chest with the thorns that stood out of the flesh in its skeletal arm. With brute force
