By the time Jackson could return back to work, he had wasted ample amount of time.

He quickly apologized to the CEO of Belare, Miss Ferny and carried on with the inspection of the warehouse site.

"This looks promising." Miss Ferny shook hands firmly with him.

"We should produce the first batch of products by end of this week. Let's see the public response to it."

The woman nodded, then took her cue to leave.

Jackson returned to his office to meet Mr Ernestine waiting. "I'm handing over the proceeds of the police investigation to you. The guilty board members have all paid compensation, here it is." He placed a cheque on the table. "As the new Head Manager, I except you to channel it into good causes for the company."

"Yea sir." Jackson received the cheque with a smile.

With this, his efforts was paying off.

This money was enough to cushion the incoming effects of inflation, provide incentives to workers, and they wouldn't need to increase the price like Xander originally propose
