FEDERICK'S POV
[Estimated remaining task time: 9 hours] [Ting! Transaction successful] [Startup task completed successfully] [Send reward to user] I sat across from Georgia, enjoying our romantic dinner in one of the expensive cafes. The city lights stretched before us, casting a golden glow over her flawless skin. She looked more beautiful, sipping her wine as my phone vibrated with the confirmation of a bank transfer. "Wow, you're really paying me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. I could see the disbelief in her eyes making me let out a small smile. "You thought I was a joking?" "This is just surprising." She tilted her head, studying me with curious eyes. " You know I still can't believe it." Georgia said staring at me. " Can't believe what?" I asked staring at her face. " Are your parents rich or you have just been hiding the fact that you are rich?" I chuckled, shaking my head. "I wish. But I'm not destined to have a family." "You can always build one," she said, taking another sip of her wine, her every movement so graceful it left me momentarily stunned that I began to doubt if I could pull the contract through. I might just have to offer Georgia another money if it means getting intimate with her. She was stunning! I swallowed hard. "I’m impressed." I said slowly lifting my gaze to meet her own. " Surprised? Why?" Georgia asked " The fact that I haven't paid like I promised earlier on." I replied Georgia shrugged. "I don’t know why, but since I met you, life has felt more exciting. Maybe I’ve been enjoying my time with you so much that I forgot to care." " Easy tiger, I thought you said this was mainly based on our contract. Are you falling in love? I heard that you dnt date school guys so what happened?" She let out a soft laugh. "That makes me sound unreasonable. I don’t date because I don’t have time, not because I have some ridiculous standard." "Too busy making money?" I guessed. "Is there any effort that isn’t hard when it comes to making money? Some people are even willing to die for it." I laughed, the awkwardness between us fading with each shared moment. Something about Georgia made me feel lighter, as if all the burdens of my past didn’t weigh as heavily when I was with her. And then, before I could stop myself, I reached for her hand. She blinked in surprise. "Hm? Isn’t it too soon to fall in love?" I smirked. "I just want to enjoy what’s in front of me. A beautiful woman, a breathtaking city skyline, and a sunset that looks like a painting. It’s perfect." She smiled but didn’t pull away. Instead, she tightened her grip. "I always loved beauty," I admitted. "All women do." "No, I mean, ever since I was a kid, I admired models. They walk the runway like they're floating—it's the definition of elegance. I wanted to be part of that world, so I’m trying to get into a modeling school." "Then I’ll support you." Her smile was dazzling. "By the way, did you see their faces?" she asked. "Damian and Mandy? Yeah. And I’m more than satisfied." She scoffed. "You’re not the type to hold grudges, huh? If I were you, I’d have smashed that brute’s head into the floor the way he did to you in the gym." Georgia said making a scene I laughed. " How did you know?" " Your case is the topic at school when it happens. Why don't you?" "I wanted to," I admitted. "But I couldn’t." "Why? You were pretty damn cool making him kneel earlier." "That was just luck." I sighed. "Look at Damian's size. There’s no way I should’ve been able to make him kneel like that. If it wasn’t luck, then what was it?" Georgia burst out laughing. "I thought you were training to become some overnight Superman. You shoud have seen the look on his face when you made him fall." I shook my head. "Not interested. I just wanted to put them in their place. Especially Mandy. I’ve never felt heartbreak like that before." My chest tightened at the memory. The pain was still fresh, a wound that hadn’t quite healed. Georgia must’ve noticed because she suddenly lit up. "I want cotton candy!" she announced, pointing across the street. "Shall we cut dinner short and find something more fun to do?" I blinked, caught off guard by how quickly she changed the subject. Then, I smiled. "Sure." She laughed. "Go get your car. I’ll take you somewhere nice after this." "You’re going to buy the cotton candy yourself?" I teased. "Who’s paying?" She rolled her eyes. "Fred, I’m not so poor that I can’t buy a single sweet. Are you underestimating me?" I chuckled. "Sorry, I guess I’m getting used to being rich." "Good," she smirked. "It’s good to get used to good things." I watched as she walked toward the vendor, a pink cotton candy in her hands. A smile spread across my face as I retrieved my car from the parking lot. For the first time in a long while, I felt… happy. Maybe Mandy was right. Maybe I was capable of moving on quickly. Maybe tonight would belong to just the two of us. "Hey, hurry up, princess!" I called out playfully as I leaned against my car. Georgia was just about to cross the street when— [Ding!] [New task entered] [Task: Save Georgia Wellingtonfrom danger] [Reward: $3,500,000] My heart stopped. What? I reread the screen, but the words didn’t change. Save Georgia Wellington from danger? What danger? She was right in front of me, laughing, carefree. Then I heard it. The screeching tires. A luxury car barreling down the road at full speed. Right toward her. "Georgia!" I screamed.

FEDERICK'S POV ( The old Fred )I was scared. The fear of dying was something I had never experienced before and to think I was going to die scared the hell out of me. I looked at everyome in the room. " Why are we waiting? Why don't we just get on with it now and get it over with?" I looked at myself standing before me. " Because we need to be meticulous about the time we have it done. We can't just kill you ourselves. The system might never activate if we had to take it into our hands." Dully said from my back. " So what exactly are you saying?" I looked at him. " Do you understand what I am saying?" Dully looked at the future me. " I understand what you mean, Dully. The blow needs to come from the villian and that is Damain." [ Ding ! ] [ System voice ; You need to live the past. Damian's POV (The Future)My voice thundered through the small underground chamber as I stepped closer to my younger self, who stared at me like I had grown horns."You fool!" I barked again, fury tightening every muscle in my jaw. "Do you think this is a game? Look at me! Look at your future!"The younger version of me took a hesitant step back, confusion and skepticism dancing across his face. “Who the hell are you? Is this some kind of trick?”"What do I need to do to make you believe me?" I snapped, placing both hands on my hips. "I am you. From the future. And I’m here to stop Fred from becoming our greatest rival.”His eyebrows furrowed deeply. “What do you mean we? And why should I believe anything you’re saying? You could be some clown playing mind games—""Will you shut the fuck up for once?" I roared, my voice echoing like thunder in the tight space. “Fred is going to ruin everything! He knows things—things you think are buried. He isn’t clueless like you assume.”His face h

Dully pov Ariadne stood in the doorway, her auburn hair pulled into a messy bun, a shotgun pointed directly at my chest. I could see that she had been expecting us and I can't care but think if the future Damain has gotten to her also. “Well, well,” she muttered, eyes narrowing. “Took you long enough to crawl back.” I raised my hands instinctively, my heart thudding so loud it echoed in my ears. “Ariadne, please—” “Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t put a hole through your ribcage,” she snapped, her voice like cold steel. “The last time I saw you, you vanished into thin air and left me to clean up your mess.” I knew what she was talking about. That was the past me. The past me must have don't something I don't know but I need to pay along. I was about to talk when future Fred stepped up beside me, calm as ever. “Because we need your help. And we don’t have time to unpack your relationship drama.” he said immediately trying to curb the fire that was about to spread.

Dully's pov My gaze locked with Fred. The future Fred not sure if what to say. " I came with the future Fred." I said back at him. " Yeah, I know and I can see that. Can you tell me why you are having his face?" The old Fred asked staring at me. My gaze landed back on his past self. " Okay, here it is. I am Damain's twin brother." I said waiting for his reaction but I got none. " Ain't you suppose to be surprised?" I asked staring at him. " Surprises? Why?" Fred asked staring at us. The room was about tensed as we all looked at him and wondered why he wasn't. I for one was anticipating the part where he comes rushing at me or the part where he was going to have me slapped but to my surprise, he did none of that. I looked at the future Fred and he nodded. " No one knows I existed except for my brother. I help him with most of his brutal ways of dealing with you lots." I said again and old Fred didn't blink. " Why is all of this not coming as a surprise for you?" I

FEDERICK'S POV ( The old Fred ) I was stunned to see a look alike standing right in front of me. He wasn't just looking like me but he was a better version of me. Rich, handsome and he smelt of wealth. Was is this madness? "Who are you?" I looked at the new looking flashy me. " You should see it in a bit. You were almost killed but I saved you." Fred said looking at me. " See what? What are you doing?" I asked again. I still don't understand any of this madness. " Why don't you explain to him?" Axle looked at Fred. " Explain what?" I said anxiously. " Why don't we start by telling you that we came from the future, Fred." The future me said staring at me face and I almost collapsed. This was impossible. The future? What the hell. " What are you trying to tell me? That you came through a space machine or what?" " Not space machine. The system brought us back to make sure I save you before Damain kills you. He is going to try and make sure that you cannot bond
