When Laura walked into her office, grinning from ear to ear because of the two days leave she had bagged, she got a call from Lucas.

"Hello, Laura. Good morning," Lucas' voice boomed through the phone.

"Good morning, Lucas, I'm doing good," Laura said, honestly.

"Woa, I can sense that from the joy in your voice. I guess someone woke up at the right side of the bed, hm," Lucas said.

Laura laughed and took her seat.

"Well, I'm happy and you're responsible for that. Thanks for what you did, Lucas," Laura appreciated. Lucas was a bit surprised when she thanked him because he had no idea why she was thanking him. He didn't know what Mark had told and offered to Laura. He had only decided to call Mark this morning and promised to recommend him to a well-known business tycoon in return for a favor which was that he persuades Laura to go out with him this Saturday and Mark had accepted to do that happily.
