Kane left Anna's resident that night, riding through the City.

Nathaniel Miles had been arrested and things would be settled in the court. Almond must be back to its feet.

As Kane turned into, a street, riding back to the mansion. The street was quiet, an evidence that time had gone and darkness had eerily bestowed on the surface regardless of the streetlights glowing like sentinels.

Ahead, about 10 Km away, something caught Kane's eyes. He squinted.

Two men with masks covering their faces were robbing a lady at the dark corner. Immediately his headlights shone on them, they hit the lady, snapped her bag and took on their heels.

The lady stumbled back and hit her butt against the asphalt.

Kane steered to the left and pulled over at the curb. He stepped down and hurried to the lady.

She had fallen, and on her leg, she incurred a bruise from scratching the tarred road. Blood spilled from the injury.
