FUTURE OF ZEN

ch 32 JOY

The sun rise up, Linda woke up and as she came down stairs she found out Zen already was up as he was doing his daily routine practice already.

So she asked him

' i told you last night you could have rest for the day if you wanted to watch the memories of my past and here you are doing the training first thing in the morning. '

As he looked at Linda and ran toward her and hugged her tight as he started crying and said

' you are so brave Linda, i never would have thought that you would have gone through so much pain all these years.

I knew that you are strong outside but you are stronger inside then you are outside.

I was hardly able to see the glimpse of what pain and suffering you went through but you were the one who was suffering from all of it and never told a single soul about it.

I am so much proud that i have the opportunity to be called your brother and be trained by you.

I will never leave you and always be with you.

I  know that i am not your own brother but still i don't feel anything less about you as my sister.

So please never think that you have lost all of your family, i am here for you atleast in the body. '

Linda understood that he had seen the her memories, she wrapped her arms around him and said

' i told you the first and even after that day, you are my brother now and there is nothing more or less about it and never will be.

I still do wanna meet my old Zen but until that day, never even think about yourself as a replacement of him.

You are you and he was he.

So what you wanna eat today, wait lets eat out today.

We will go to a good restaurant when i come back from the hospital after my duty. '

As they both Looked at each other and smiled.

As Linda started making the breakfast for both of them and Zen kept training until then.

After eating their breakfast Linda went to the hospital and Zen was left alone at home.

He asked Venda

' Venda? What about i clean the house and do all the laundry in the meantime.

Also help me choose some cloth for the night. I will iron them and get them ready. '

She replied

' you can do whatever you want, why you asking me? '

As Zen replied

' its just, there is a big crack and hole in the wall.

Is there a way we can fix it? '

Venda replied with an angry accent

' yes there is and it is very easy.

Just pick up the damn phone and just make the fuckin call.

Tell them what you need to do and the address. '

Zen seemed a little embarrassed as he was being bullied by her again but he took out his phone and searched for the repair company.

As they arrived after about and hour, he started doing cleaning and washing the clothes in the mean time.

He just left the area around that portion where the wall was because there was going to be rubble after they fix it.

He kept doing his chores and in about an hour his work was done.

He was little exhausted so he sat down on the couch and was resting as he heard a bell rang on the door.

He thought that the people from the repair company may have arrived so he went to check the door.

But he was wrong, there were two men standing in front of him wearing suits who showed him a badge which said S.I.D.F( Special investigating defence force).

They said

' Zen, you have to come with us because we have some questions to ask of you'

As one of them grabbed his arm.

As he tried to took him by force, Venda immediately send the message to Linda about this.

But Linda left her phone in her office and was checking on patients.

Zen tried to make him loose his grip and said

' We already have told the other investigators that we don't have anything to with anyone.

Please i am requesting you to unhand me and leave the place or if my sister were to come here.

She won't suffice with just words. '

As the other standing behind said

' what will your sister do, kill us like she killed her parents '

Zen felt those words as he immediately shook off his arm and looked at the man with his angry eyes.

He looking at him said

' Apologise for what you said right now.

Linda was proven innocent by the King himself, so how dare you talk shit about her.

Take back what you said and apologise right now '

As the man  felt terror in his eyes as he looked at him, both of the men stepped back and the guy said

' sorry, i am sorry.

We just want you to come with us that is all, so please cooperate with us. '

Zen calmed down and still looking with his raging eyes said

' I told you before, we have told the investigators who came yesterday about this.

That we have nothing to do with this, i never met anyone named Berry in the past days.

So please leave the house, it will be better for both of us. '

As the men looked at him and not having a proper authority to take him with them.

They went back and Zen looked at  them as they  were going, after some time the people came for repair and repaired the wall.

Zen made something for them to eat with the help of Venda, who told him what to make and how to make it.

After they left Zen went to the living room and sat on the couch.

As he asked Venda

' Venda? Which restaurant you think is good for today.

I mean Linda told me she will take me to one when she will come home but which one you think is better. '

Venda said

' why don't you ask Linda herself '

As Linda came home and she came inside looking for him.

She saw him and hugged him as she said

' oh i am so happy to see that you are fine. '

As Zen asked her

' but what are you doing here?

You told me you will come home in the evening. '

Linda looked at him and said

' Venda messaged me and told me that those investigators came here again.

So i came as soon as i saw the message.'

Zen said to Venda

' i get it that you told her that but wasn't it your duty to tell that too that they had left.'

As Venda said

' i forgot because you told me to teach you how to cook.

Seriously, you are worth nothing.

You don't even know how to cook and you are saying that you will become to beat the demon king.

Pathetic'

Zen replied in anger

' that has nothing to do with this situation, you always do this and blame everything on me.

If you didn't slept that day on me, Linda would have saved me and nothing like that would have even happened '

Venda replied

' oh so now its my fault, nice.

That is what you always wanted to so didn't you.

You coming to this universe is also my fault, isn't it.

I think you being born is my fault, so now i am your father.

Who made a mistake like you.'

Zen was more angry now and Linda could see all that rage on his face so she stepped in and said

' could you stop talking to Venda and tell what the problem is.'

As he described what happened and Linda understood it as she also said

' its fine humans make mistakes all the time and Venda made one today.

It is not that big of a deal but Venda you too shouldn't say all those mean things to Zen either.

You both are one now, so just start to get along with him.

He was the one who kept you from being breaking and you are the one who saved him from the depth of his unconsciousness. '

As they both said sorry to each other and got along.

Then Linda said looking at Zen with a happy face

' So i am here now and i don't think so i need to go back to the hospital anymore.

What about we go out shopping and then we can go to the restaurant to eat.

I seriously need some new dress, i have never bought one in so many years.

So what about it shall we go? '

Zen accepted her proposal and they both got ready and went to shop some clothes for themselves.

Linda was truly enjoying her moment of joy with Zen, it was like her old self which got lost had been trying to bloom outside all this time and she want to enjoy her life again.

Seeing her like this even Zen couldn't stop but feeling emotional  but he kept himself from showing it in front of Linda and enjoyed every moment with her.

Linda tried a dress and that dress reminded her off the day she changed her clothes with the girl to enter the area, but she kept her cool too and tried to enjoy her moments of joy with Zen.

After Shopping they went to watch a movie and after that they went to dinner.

They talked a lot about many different things the whole time and Both were happy to have each others company.

They both returned to the home and went to their bed wishing each other good night.

One day with a happy end in the life of Linda went by with much more joy.
