ch 34 I AM READY

Then from the day forward Linda made sure to keep her schedule of the hospital and Zen kept doing his training for the time.

He was able to become enough capable to holding his own at his basic, first and second level.

Zen can maintain his control, in both the first and the second level on the gear and go to even the third.

But still he was not perfect on any of them and does need so much training to be capable of becoming as strong as Linda.

She had also taught him some basic combat training which will help him in the world ahead of him.

Zen was more then enough capable of taking the exam now and Linda was proud on his improvement.

Anyone can take the exam when they are above 15 y/o.

Many people take the exam in order to get inside the academy every year through the test.

But many don't pass and have to try again.

They try again and again to get hands on the license and studying in this academy for atleast 2 years is needed to become able to pass and get the license.

Also you need to perform a license test too after passing from the academy but you won't be able to give the license test if you haven't passed from here.

The license is called gear license and it allows you to use your gear in the city if needed, but just to some extent that nobody gets hurt.

Most of the population don't bother taking either of the both examination and become a gear holder but the people who still have passion to become something are the one who will never settle for less.

Which was the reason Linda trained him all this time to be capable of passing the exam.

Though she didn't gave any exam to join the academy because she was strong more then enough it was needed and due to Lucas being his father as one of the seven swords at that time she was able to get a good recommendation.

But Zen won't be getting any privileges and have to do everything the way it has to be done.

At their house the day before his entrance exam.

Linda

' Listen shin, i know that you are capable enough to pass the exam but still keep in mind that it won't be easy.

The examiners are sure to focus on every inch of your power flow and flaws.

So make sure that you won't stutter while they ask you to do anything.

I have not given the exam but i sure have heard it from my fellow class members that they are quite strange when it comes to showing your strength.

They didn't specified what they meant nor did i asked them so make sure to keep your eyes and ears fully aware.

Also don't use dhyaan there, if they know you know how to do it they might not like it.

The reason for that is, they teach dhyaan to the students of the academy at the very last.

They do it to make sure that anyone learning it is more then enough capable of learning it, so only few chosen one are given the opportunity to learn it.

Though you know how to use it but still there are many things that i can't teach you and only you can learn in the academy.

You also have to get your license to become and that only be granted after you have graduated from the academy.

I won't be there to tell but Venda will so its a plus to you.

Though i am not sure if they happen to detect Venda by using the metal detector on the students.

Then they might ban you for even giving the exam for five years '

Hearing that Zen looked at Linda with shocked look but Venda said

' It won't happen, they can't detect me.

I am not made of metal nor any type of other substance that can be detected.

I am now a part of your body so it won't buzz at me at all.

So feel free from that, but don't think that i will help you cheat in the written exam. '

As he heard that he Said out loud

' What there is even a written exam? '

As Linda replied

' yeah there is, you have to pass both the Physical and written exam.

I forgot to tell you that'

As Zen replied

' but i haven't even studied anything, how am i suppose to pass it.

Venda is saying she won't help me either.

Why you didn't told me about it before. '

As Linda replied

' Aah, i might have forgotten.

But its not a big deal the written exam is not that hard you see, it is basically a awareness test regarding what to do in a particular situation.

It will be easy don't make it a big thing, i am sure you will pass easily.

Still you can look at previous exam questions online, it will help you understand what type of questions are there in the written test.

So make sure you do your best and get atleast a 3 year training course.

Don't get more then that, it will be a rough training time then and they don't pay much attention to those of who have more then 3 year of time to pass out. '

Though Zen knew he had pass with high score to be able to get a good result now, he was still scared of the written exam because he is not quite good with exams.

So he was nervous and whole night he kept viewing many of the entrance exams test papers of the previous period.

Before he knew it was morning and he haven't slept a wink.

Linda came in his room to wake him up but he was totally exhausted and lying on the ground.

Linda checked him right away and realised that he was exhausted, so she picked him up and threw him in the tub filled with cold water.

Which immediately made him wake up and he jumped out of the tub.

Before he could say anything Linda said

' just get yourself ready, i am making breakfast for both of us.

I will come with you to drop you at the academy and then i will leave for the hospital.

So don't waste anymore time or you will loose the opportunity of even being able to give the test at all. '

Shivering with cold water dropping off his clothes, he looked at her with a glare but didn't said anything.

Linda went outside and he took a hot soothing bath.

It made his tiredness go away by a little but due to not getting enough sleep at night he was still exhausted.

He came to the kitchen after dressing up and they both ate the breakfast as Linda asked him what he was doing all night that he is looking like this.

As he told her that he was trying to study for the exam and didn't slept a wink.

As it seemed very difficult type of exam to him and he is not sure that he will be able to pass or not.

Linda gave him confidence that she is sure that he will be able to pass and he has Venda with him.

She will help him, but Venda had already refused to do so but Linda told Venda that she have to help him or she won't be able to see the other day and she will break her into small pieces.

Venda hearing that didn't't said anything and kept her silence as she was little angry on her but because Zen had told her not to say anything mean about Linda she kept her mouth shut.

After eating the breakfast Linda took Zen with her and they both reached the academy, Zen saw many other people walking by them.

Old and young both were going to give the examination.

As Linda said

' You will see many people here, because having a license helps you a lot in many ways.

It has many privileges of its own and that it the reason everyone want to get hold of that license of being and gear master.

You can go places that are not allowed for other people and can even get many types of discounts with it.

Though this license doesn't mean anything in the battlefield and just is a piece of plastic but in a civilized and a developed nation like ours it has so much value.

So even if you don't want to do anything big in this world i won't mind but being an licensed individual will be great to one extent.

My Zen was a normal human so he was never going to have it anyway but you on the other hand are capable to attaining it so don't let this big opportunity pass away.

Also wear this hand glove, this will help you hide your gear, its better that no one sees what your gear looks like.

Don't tell anyone about it, many people use gloves to hide their gear in the exams and even in the real world, so don't overthink about it.

No one will say anything about not using it, it is not needed for the examiners to check you for anything.

Though using weapons is illegal in this exam but it is not in the real world.

Also i haven't trained you alot but you have become able to use Dhyaan and upto 2 levels.

So you are quite powerful now, if i say you might even be strong then more then most of the competitors, students and even the teachers themselves.

So keep it in mind and work on your actions or you might get unwanted attention.

Which may lead to question regarding your existence.

So don't let anything that happens their get over your head and seriously injure someone during the exams.

I am counting on you.'

As she gave him the glove and Zen wore it.

Zen looked at Linda with a proud look and said

' i will make you proud no matter what and i will definitely become strong to be able to protect you in every possible circumstances.

So watch me as i become strong and capable'

Linda smiled and they both reached the academy main gate, Linda bid her farewell and left Shin after giving him a kiss on his forehead.

Linda handed over the entrance test paper on which his details were written and a little recommendation from her.

Which will be used as a entry to be able to give the entrance exam.
