“Have you heard? Ron Night will be released from prison today!”
“Are you fucking serious?” A man, burly and muscular shot from his small seat at the prison’s cafeteria. “What’s your source?” “Trust me! It is said that his release is the Mafia Don’s last wish!” “Hahahaha!” The burly man laughed out, his eyes glistening, excited that Ron Night was finally going to leave. Each of the prisoners in that prison was one of the most dangerous people in the world. Serial killers, drug lords who had killed thousands of people without blinking. They were thrown into the farthest and most brutal prison in the country of Regar. Ron Night came in as a fragile man, weak and easy to bully. His first night in prison was hell and he was beaten to a pulp by a burly man. However, the next day, he became the Mafia Don’s right-hand man. No one knew why the Mafia Don had suddenly taken him under his wing but none of them dared to touch Ron again. He single-handedly abolished bullying in the prison grounds, and slowly rose to the pinnacle. In five years, he became a powerhouse, and with just a single finger, he could destabilize anyone. Three months after the Mafia Don’s death, he was finally being released. “Good! That devil should be gone! He is a tyrant and has ruled for too long!” The burly man laughed, happy that he was going to regain his prison power. But then…bang! The doors opened and immediately, everyone went quiet. “Repeat what you just said, Bum.” A voice, lazy but overpowering echoed in the cafeteria. A young man strode in, his hands in his pockets. He was no more than 27 years old, however, he dominated men who had gray hair on their heads. He had a red axe tattoo, peeking from the short sleeve on his arm and everyone knew not to cross him. Bum, the excited burly man was twice his age shook in his seat, seeing the young man’s eyes on him. “Come here.” He wiggled his hand to Bum who quickly moved from his table. He dropped to the ground and started to crawl toward Ron. “What did you say?” Ron asked, looking down at Bum and his eyes had gotten sharper. “I…I didn't say anything, Mr. Night! I dare not!” “Good!” Ron smiled in satisfaction. “I will be watching you from wherever I go. You all shouldn't get too excited that I am leaving. Do you understand?” “Yes sir!” Everyone responded, in unison. Bum was still lying on the floor, and Ron directly stepped on him, to walk away. He didn't care one bit or feel bad about stepping on another man. Men like Bum deserved to be walked over, again and again. Soon, Ron was escorted to the heavily guarded prison gates. Ten high-ranking guards followed him, marching behind him. Ron was highly respected by everyone as he had saved several guards from being killed by the inmates. He even fought against guards who tried to oppress the inmates. “Congratulations, Mr. Ron.” The guard at the forefront bowed. “I hope to see you again. But not in this prison.” “Take care,” Ron said nonchalantly and stepped out of there. The minute he went past the gates, he took a deep breath as a wave of fresh air flowed past him. The day he came to this prison, he was a weak man who just wanted to protect his fiancée at the time. He took the fall for her when a bunch of people died in the restaurant she ran. It was just a mistake on her part, a negligence from staff but the crime had been committed and someone needed to be punished for it. His fiancée’s restaurant was expanding, and she had a good life ahead of her. Their future family would have come to ruin if she had gone to prison, so he stepped up. Now, he was out. He had not informed her that he was going to be released. He was supposed to spend five more years, but he had received an unprecedented favor while in prison. He stepped forward, ready to leave but then there were sirens resounding in the air. Ten cars started driving toward the prison gates and stopped before Ron. Thirty men stepped out of the car, their backs straight, dressed in black suits, which showed off their elegance. Ron recognized a few faces amongst them and he frowned. There was the Prime Minister of the country of Regar. Three powerful businessmen from top corporations whom he used to see on TV years back. They all stood, alongside their guards who had escorted them. “What’s going on here?” Ron muttered, lines marring his face. “We are here to take you back. From now on, you will be the head of Storm Creed. We would like to partner with you immediately.” Ron was surprised, but then he pursed his lips and curbed his emotions. Storm Creed? The biggest Defense and Aerospace corporation in the country and its claws even extended to other countries. That Storm Creed belonged to the Mafia Don who had taken him under his wing. “So, this is the final gift you talked about, huh?” He muttered to himself as he looked up at the sky. His mentor, the Don would forever live in his heart. However, he wasn’t sure he wanted to accept this offer. He would properly decline later if he ended up refusing to take it. He just wanted to live a calm life after facing the rowdy life in prison. “Can someone give me a phone?” He demanded. “Yes! Yes!” They quickly delivered a black phone into his hands. Ron punched in a series of numbers he held dearly in mind. It belonged to Ria’s family residence. The phone rang for a minute and Ron had to dial the number again. On the second ring, the phone went through. “Hello, Ria…” There was silence on the phone, and it weighed down on Ron. Had his wife forgotten him? “Who is this?” It wasn't his wife’s voice but a little girl’s voice that immediately soothed Ron. “This is Ron Night. I would like to speak to Ria Jones.” “Oh, my mom. She is not here right now. She left for her wedding ceremony an hour ago.”

We Found Elena
And just like Ron had seen the glaring information on his computer, Elena was indeed their enemy. Not Ron's enemy, but one he had to fight against and embody, all because his mentor had been her target five years ago when she arrived in the country.Who would have thought Elena was a spy sent by a rival organization to kill the mafia Don who had mentored him? However, she didn't succeed, and his mentor went on to live five more years in prison, teaching him all that he knew, but unfortunately, he died. But why didn't she succeed? Elena Is Our Enemy
Ron’s jaw clenched as he calmly shut the door to Elena’s room. There was no use running after her and her sudden escape had only confirmed something he had been suspecting. Elena wasn’t pretending. She knew exactly what she was doing and she knew Hera was her daughter. She may have been weak when she stood before Nathan West, but ever since they got back to the house, Ron had noticed how sharp and attentive she was. Her movements were quick and swift and her words piercing. She didn't seem like a normal maid. It was also commendable that she was able to escape under his watch. “What are you hiding, Elena?” He whispered to himself as he went back to his room. He took the small ziplog bag he had in his bedside drawer, raising it in the air to inspect it. For the years he had spent in prison, he had learned to never trust what he saw and he would always have a backup plan. The bag contained Elena’s hair which he had secretly taken when she was not looking and now, whether she liked
Elena Is Gone
Ria turned back to her friends, folding her arms like a Queen overseeing her kingdom. “Don’t worry, girls. Terry is going to get this scoundrel out of here. Who knows, he would want to get into our party using force?”Ron almost rolled his eyes at Ria, but he controlled himself. There was no use talking brain-rot with someone like her. And now, he was concerned about Elena who hadn't stepped out of the house ever since. Did she notice Ria or was she just taking too long? So, he turned around, wanting to go back in to find her. Of course, he wouldn't let Ria see her. All he wanted to do was make sure she was safe. But as soon as he stepped back, Ria came barreling toward him. “Where are you going? Are you trying to run away before the guards get here?” She yelled, her voice echoing through the open air of the estate.Ron stared at her, his brows creased, “You know, if the guards were to come here, you would be the one thrown out, right?”“Really? Do you even have the power to call
What About Elena?
Ron pursed his lips as he looked from the phone and back to Ria, “Why should I answer you?” “What?” Ria gasped. “Who gave you the balls to be so defiant?” “Defiant?” He shrugged. “I just don't answer to you, that’s it.” “But you must answer to this, Ron.” Ria snarled. “Why were you with Mr. Hunter and even Nathan West was bowing to you! Is there something you are hiding from me?” Ron couldn't help but see Ria for who she was now. She thought she had the world under her feet and she had control over everything. But then, he decided to test her, to push her over the edge to confirm his suspicion. “I don’t know Hunter.” He said. “But I went there to see Nathan West specifically. After all, you told me Elena was with the West family.” “Elena?” Her friends gasped, looking at each other fearfully. Ron quickly caught their expressions and was about to ask questions when Ria cut in. “What…what about Elena? Did you find her?” Her eyes darted around nervously. Ron studied her express

“What do you mean?” Ron frowned. “You know Ria, right? I used to be Ria’s boyfriend.” “I…I don’t know what you are talking about.” Elena shook her head, her eyes darting to look away. Ron pursed his lips, looking from Hera to Elena. Yes, Hera had some similar features with Ria but looking at Elena, she could see how they looked so much alike. He was convinced Elena was Ria’s mother. But it didn't seem like Elena was faking her words. She didn't even bat an eye when she spoke in Hera’s face. “Don’t you see the resemblance—”“Look, Mr. Ron…” Elena took a deep breath, her fists clenching beside her. “I appreciate that you bought me off like a commodity but you can’t force an identity on me.” “I am not anyone’s sister or mother and I certainly do not know you.”As soon as she was done speaking, she walked past Ron but he quickly caught her by the arm. “Where are you going?” He raised a brow at her. “You can’t step into that house anymore.”“Why? Because you bought me?” Elena sneered
