The Party

"Announcement! I invite all of you to a party tonight. Please wear your best clothes!”  Agler said to the Daltons.

"Sorry, I don't like to coming to laborer parties," Anthony replied sarcastically.

"This is not a laborer party. In fact, I can guarantee that it will be the best party you will ever attend,” Agler said.

Pooja also said, “Come on, don't waste time. We can't be late to the party."

Then they started getting ready even though they were still confused about where Agler would take them.

When they got out of the house, they saw a luxury car parked in the yard. "Whose car is that?" Dalton asked to Agler.

Then, Agler said, “This is my car, Papa. We will go by this car.”

"Really?" Dalton's eyes widened. "How can you buy a car when you've only worked one day?"

Agler only replied with a smile.

While Ellena whispered to her husband. "Isn't that car very expensive?"

“Yes, it is a limited edition car. How could he possibly get that car? I'm sure he must have borrowed it from someone," Anthony replied.

"Hey! Why are you two still standing there? Come in! We have to leave now.” Pooja calls out for her sister and brother in law.

Then they all left for the Davidson residence.

The Daltons were stunned when they got there. They saw the house was so luxurious. When they got out of the car, they were immediately greeted by the waiters. They also saw everyone there wearing luxurious clothes.

“I didn't expect him to actually take me to a fancy party like this. Ah, I feel ashamed of my clothes.” Diana whispered to her husband.

"Hasn't Agler reminded you to wear your best clothes?" Dalton replied.

“Papa, Mama, look! Isn't he Mr Davidson?" Ellena pointed to an old man who came out of the large room and was immediately greeted by everyone present.

"Oh my God! He's the owner of the biggest jewelry store in town," Dalton said. “Agler, how do you know him?” Dalton asked his son-in-law, but it turned out that Agler was no longer with him.

They were astonished to see Agler and Pooja who were now next to Davidson.

“I'm so happy that I can have a party like this. Oh yeah, Pooja, where is your family?” Davidson asks Pooja.

“They are my family, Grandpa.” Pooja replies while pointing towards her family.

Then Davidson, Agler, and Pooja approach the Dalton family. Of course that made Dalton nervous.

"Papa, Mama, this is Mr Davidson, my grandpa," Agler said to his in-laws.

They all stared at Agler's words. "Are you serious?"

“Yes, Agler is my long lost grandson. I've been looking for it for years and I'm so happy that now I've found it. By the way, I also know Daniel well, your father. I didn't expect that he would marry my grandson to his granddaughter. But I'm grateful that he did that. If he was still alive, I would definitely give him a big gift,” said Mr Davidson. “Please enjoy this party!”

“T-thank you, sir,” Agler replied nervously.

After that Mr Davidson introduced Agler to his other guests. Meanwhile Diana immediately grabbed Pooja's hand. “Why didn't you ever say that your husband was Davidson's grandson, Pooja? Oh, I really feel ashamed for insulting him all this time.”

“Are you guys only going to respect my husband if he is a rich man?” Pooja replied.

Diana fell silent. Then Dalton said, “Pooja, you have to be with your husband. Don't let him turn to another woman. Come on, follow him over there!”

Meanwhile, Lucas's family also attends the party. Lucas came with his son named Xavier, and daughter-in-law named Cathrine.

"Daddy, why are Uncle Davidson throwing a party like this suddenly?" Xavier asked his father.

“I don't know. I was surprised too. Maybe he will announce who will be his heir. Xavier, get ready. I already recommended your name to him.”

Cathrine helped to tidy up Xavier's suit, after which he entered the party. Davidson looked up at the podium and then he said, “I want to thank all of you for coming to my party. I'm throwing this party to introduce my heir to all of you. He is Agler Elzio Davidson, my only grandson."

The Lucas family looked stunned when they saw a young man climb the podium. "Daddy, who is he? Is he really Davidson's grandson?” said Xavier.

“I don't know. How could he possibly find his grandson? Even though I killed him when he was little. I'm sure there must be a mistake here," Lucas replied, he looking panicked.

Meanwhile, Agler had already started his speech. “Good evening ladies and gentlemen! Oh, I'm really feeling nervous right now. But, I will not embarrass my grandfather. My name is Agler, since I was little I lived in an orphanage. I never knew my parents, let alone my grandparents. Until one day I got a surprise, it turned out I was Mr Davidson's grandson. It really is like a dream. Finally, I found my family.” Agler seemed to wipe his own tears, he felt touched.

“Anyway, I will introduce my wife to all of you. Did you see the beautiful girl in the blue dress? Yes, she is Pooja Dalton, she is my wife. She is the one who has always supported me all this time. She also loves me sincerely even though I'm just a kid from an orphanage. I want you to give her a round of applause.”

Pooja is moved to hear her husband's speech.

“Sorry, I'm not very good at speeches. But I hope you all can enjoy this party. Thank you." Then Agler came down from the podium.

Lucas started to approach Agler and Pooja. Then he said, "Hello, I am Lucas. I'm Davidson's brother."

"Really? Sorry if I don't know you, sir. I am Agler, and she is Pooja, my wife," Agler replied while lowering his head.

"I see. But I feel quite impressed with you. Why are you so daring to lie to Davidson? Did someone tell you to do this?” Lucas said again.

Agler frowned. "What do you mean, sir?"

Lucas smiled sarcastically then he said, “I know you're not the real Davidson's grandson. You must claim to be his grandson so you can get all his wealth, right?”

"What do you mean? Please don't accuse me like that!"

“I see, you won't be able to confess. But I will expose all your lies. Get ready!” Lucas patted Agler's shoulder then he turned to the other side.

Agler was still confused by Lucas' words. “Why is he talking to me like that, Pooja? Oh, he looks so scary.”

"It seems he doesn't like you. Agler, you need to be more careful now. Maybe a lot of people want to bring you down right now.”

"I see."
