Chapter 19 : Silence.

It could only mean that the person who tapped him was invisible.

Realizing that, he was petrified. He knew it was me.

"Ahhh... no!"

He screamed with his eyes wide open.

In the next instant, the gun in his hand was snatched away by me (s).

Bang!

"Arghh!"

I(s) kicked and punched him and he could not fight back since he wasn't able to see me(s).

*a reminder = (s) stand for spirit to clarify actions done in a spirit-like form.

Then I(s) aimed the gun at him. Since I(s) could not be seen, the gun looked like it was floating in the air. In other words, everyone could only see the gun in the air aiming at the cop.

After a few seconds, I(s) threw the gun at me. In a millisecond I(s) had already teleported back into my body. I caught the gun and immediately started moving toward the cop.

"I'm afraid of a gun right?"

I asked.

Everyone was dumbstruck beyond words. Everyone clearly saw my strange and mysterious abilities. They were frightened.

This time, in their eyes, I was like a fierce deity that had come to punish.

"I... I was... I was stubborn. Forgive me"

The cop stammered as he trembled with fear.

By this moment, I was only a few steps away from him.

"If I didn't exhibit my powers what would you do? I'm telling you, you would have continued ill-treating me. You would have beaten and scolded me mercilessly.

"You're a goofball who doesn't know any better. In the car, I didn't want to cause any trouble so I stayed quiet but you took that as an advantage and provoked me.

"You thought my silence was weak and fearful. But you should know that silence does not mean weak. Silence can mean anything. It can mean evil, danger, patience, and many others.

"Silence is much terrifying practice because you can't anticipate what is behind it. I mean, what a silent person is thinking about? Maybe he is thinking of pulling out a hidden gun and shooting you?. But you'll be clueless about it and if you're a goofball, you'll be insulting that person.

"What will be the result?"

After saying those true words I pulled out this question.

"The person insulting the silent person will be shot"

The cop replied in a shaking voice.

"Alright, before I leave I want you to keep this in mind. Silence does not mean weak."

As soon as I said these words, I gestured for Aston to follow me. I was about to leave.

When I was the close to the doorway which led to a station lobby, the cop who was inspecting the arrested victims, the cop whom I beat and forced to open the cell gate closed the gate again.

Apart from me and Aston, all the other arrested ones were still inside. They were petrified to the point that they couldn't move a muscle and leave the cell.

Only when the cop closed the gate and was about to lock it, did they come back to their senses. They realized that this was their chance to flee the station.

They rushed toward the gate and began pushing it but it was too late. The cop had already placed a lock and the only had to push the locked and locked the gate. Thus, their attempt was considered futile.

At this moment, I stopped in my tracks and turned around. The cop saw me glancing at him coldly. He immediately felt a cold chill running down his spine.

"Should I release them?"

He asked with a sullen expression on his face.

I nodded and he immediately opened the gate. The men apart from the thin gangster hurriedly left the cell leaving only the thin gangster still lying on the cell's floor. He neither died nor passed out. He was just too weak to get up.

When they were about to run past me, I stretched my arm and blocked their way. They, of course, stopped and even retreated a few steps backward.

Fear was written on all their faces. At the same time, they were surprised. I was the one who had let them leave but now I was stopping them.

"You, come!"

I called the man in the front of them.

He obeyed and came to me with an ugly face. He thought I had found something wrong with him and that I wanted to punish him.

"Here I am"

He said in a hushed voice.

"What crime have you committed to end up be arrested?"

The man was timid, he replied honestly.

"I was found with drugs. I'm addicted to drugs."

His words slightly surprised me. This man was too honest.

And I was also touched. I knew the life of an addicted person as well as the challenges he or she face.

A drug addicted person's soul is always willing to stop but the body isn't. The war of body and soul broke out and wrecked the battlefield which is the victim's life.

Whether which side is winning the victim still loss.

"Alright, head to the dead end laneway on the 31st street wait for me. I'll find you there anytime sooner."

I gave him a way and he went out of the room.

I blocked the way again and intently glared at a chubby man who was in front of all other men. Of course everyone understood what I was conveying with my gaze. It was the chubby man's turn.

He nervously dragged himself forward and took the initiative to speak.

"I... I'm suspected to have shot and gravely injure someone on a robbery."

He couldn't lie because the cops were present there but was still careful with his words. He said he was suspected unlike the previous man who directly said he was found with drugs.

"Of course, return to the damn cell."

I said while smiling mockingly.

I couldn't tolerate such despicable deeds. What if the one shot was my relative or a friend.

The chubby man turned around with a gloomy face, seemingly exasperated. This was a big blow to him. He sluggishly walked toward the cell in dismay.
