Chapter 18 : Fierce Tiger.

The sound emitted by the impact was ear splitting. I wanted the cops who were in rooms few ten feet away to hear it.

"Brat! Do you want to damage our ears?"

A man with long beard and hair said grumbled.

The rest had the same question in their heads. Some felt strong urge to punch me.

I stepped closer and held the bars of the doors. I shook and it made even louder noise

"What's going here? Are you asking for a good beating?"

Finally a surprised and grumpy cop appeared.

He shot a cold glance at me. He opened his mouth to speak but I interrupted him.

"I'm not asking for a good beaten, I'm asking for a good release. I need to get out!"

I shouted..

The cop couldn't help being astonished. Judging from my appearance, I wasn't a criminal. He wondered what gave me a nerve to act that way.

"Alright, let me teach you a lesson"

The cop said through gritted teeth while moving pointing at me with a baton.

Bang!

The loud sound of a flesh hitting a metal burst out. I(s) dragged the cop and crashed him into the bars of the cell. His head involuntarily poked through, between the bars, posing as if he was peeping in the cell.

"Arghhhh!"

The cop screamed in pain.

In the next moment, I gripped his neck violently.

"Will you let me out?"

After these words flew out of my mouth, I bite my lower lip in anger.

"It's indeed him."

"He is Thous."

Two men amongst the arrested men yelled frantically. Only now did I realize that I didn't ask Heather what the word 'thous' meant.

However, I put that on hold and concentrate on what I was doing.

My hand was pulling him into the cell through a narrow space between two bars of the cell. The pain caused was incredible.

"I'll open the gate. Leave me"

The cop complained.

I freed him and he hastily took a ring of keys. He frantically selected one and inserted it into a big lock.

Hah, the lock didn't open. The cop instinctively glanced at me in fear. My murderous and cold gaze was already fixed at his face. Thus, his startled gaze met mine.

The lock didn't open because he picked and used the wrong key. He knew the right key but fear disturbed his concentration. He was preoccupied and troubled in mind.

Seeing my cold gaze, he hastily picked another key. His hands were slightly trembling. This time, the lock opened.

He pulled the gates, opening it for me.

I took some steps forward and stood at the entrance. This time I was planning to turn around and drag Aston, who was staring at me in astonishment.

He hadn't moved from where he was sitting.

"Kid, you got a nerve. I like it."

These words came from behind me.

"Get out of the way!"

The voice sounded again.

This time it was an order. Someone in the cell had dared to order me.

I slowly turned my head and make a serene eye contact with him. It was the thin gangster. Of course, I knew this because I recognized his voice.

"I said get out of the way!"

He ordered again.

Just  because I tolerated him and surrendered my sweater to him, he thought I was afraid of him.

Even though, he had seen me beating and intimidating the cop, he still thought I was inferior to him. He thought I was a mere violent, cruel and bad tempered young gangster.

In fact, he along with many others didn't notice that I did something strange, I used my superpowers.

I turned around only my head so my back still face him. I turned my head again and looked forward.

"Ju..."

Bang!

"Arghh"

He was about to speak when my elbow broke his nose. He shrieked as he touched his bleeding nose. At that moment, I turned around and kicked him hard.

He collapsed on the ground while his head laid on the bars. When he smugly ordered me to get out of way, he reminded me that he physically abused Aston.

He could only blame himself for being very stupid and careless.

"You..."

Bang!

He wanted to spit another words when I mercilessly stomped on his face. His head poked through a narrow space between two bars similar to what happened to the cop.

The only difference was that the cop's head was pushed forward and poked into the cell through the narrow space between two bars while the thin man's head was pushed backward and poked out of the cell through a narrow space between two bars.

Blood plastered much of his face.

Then, I walked toward Aston and grabbed his hand.

"Let's go"

I muttered while pulling him.

None of the men in the cell utter a word or move a muscle toward us.

As we exited the cell, a bunch of cops dashed in the room and blocked us.

The cops pointed their pistols at us. A middle aged cop stepped forward while  holding us at gun pointed. This was the same man who took the initiative to insult me in the car.

"Haha, you're trying to escape? There's no problem, if you can dodge bullets."

He was too confident. All because he had a gun his hands.

He again threatened me with a gun.

"Afraid of a gun? That's too funny. You don't know that the thing so-called a gun you're holding is useless to me."

I replied with a face devoid of fear.

"You no fear gun? Alright, let's do this. Lets see if you can really dodge a bullet."

He seemed like he would pull a trigger at anytime.

I didn't move a step forward.

Seeing this, the cop giggled mockingly.

"See you can not even move. You scared fool... that's ridiculous. "

As soon as he finished speaking, a hand tapped on his shoulder.

He turned his head around and glanced at the tapped spot. His face turned gloomy when he saw nothing there.
