The security men are confused. Has their boss suddenly developed muscle pull and is that why he is on the ground?

Surely, he is not bowing down to a man in a threadbare suit and an uneven beard? A blind man!!

Look at the car the fellow and his friend are driving. A jeep that was released years ago, not even the latest version. ( The car is not even from a luxurious company)

The only cars that have driven into the estate as the most expensive ones that will be seen around the city. They are imported and even have customized plate numbers!

But this is clearly not what they think it is. Because their boss, the manager, is trembling as he bows again and again. Suddenly, the security men see that they are in trouble.

“Oh, Mister Lance, you have gone without contacting us for four years now and you didn't tell me that you will be coming into the estate!” The manager says. “I would have prepared your house and cleaned up the place! I would have gathered the resident to come and welcome you…”

“Mister manager, there is no need for that. You know that I am not a man that likes those kinds of things. I like my quiet return.” Gray smile. “I am so happy to be back. Please, shake my hand.”

The manager stands up to his feet, as he reaches out to shake Gray's hand. He notice that Gray can't see, what happened to his eyes?

He casts an angry look at the security, he is praying in his heart that they have not done something stupid to the most important member of their estate!

“Guards, why haven't you allowed Mister Lance through the gates? He has just returned from a long trip and he is very tired.”

The security looks at each other with fear, their hearts are almost jumping out of their chests.

“Sir, we just wanted to make sure that this man is not an imposter trying to get into the estate to rob the place,” the leader stammers.

“That's not what you said a few minutes ago,” Alice snorts. “Didn't you call us thieves and even threatened to get the army involved in harassing us?”

The security men wishes that the ground will open up and swallow them. They said sexually insulting things to this woman and considered the blind man to be a nobody and now they find out that he is a rich man?! They are doomed.

“We are sorry, sir, we didn't know–”

The manager snatches Gray's golden card, he is going to deal with them later. For now, he has to give Mister Gray Lance a befitting apology.

“I'm sorry, sir.” The manager bows yet again. “I will make you for their disrespect, sir. I will personally discipline them and also, I will send a bottle of the Italian imported champagne everyday for as long as you stay with us.”

But Gray is not even concerned with the manager, he is more concentrated on the security men with such a strong glare that the men feels like they are having holes being bored through them.

“No, let them try it.” Gray smiles.

The manager stops and glances from Gray to the security men. “Pardon, sir?”

“They said that the card was stolen and that I am a con artist. Let them run the card through the system and let's see what happens…”

The manager bites down his lower lip and hands back the card to the head security. He is so close to tears, he wants to beg the manager not to do this, but he knows he doesn't have a choice.

He takes the card and slowly swipes it. It gives a positive beep and the name, GRAY LANCE, appears with a green tick mark next to it.

Not only is Mister Gray living in the estate, he owns the biggest house in the estate. A mansion that cost five hundred million, and was unoccupied for years because no one could afford it. Until Gray Lance bought it.

Not only did they mess up, they messed up really bad.

The manager breathes out angrily from his flaring nostrils. “Get your stuff and leave the estate now. You have been fired for treating Mister Gray Lance so terribly.”
