CHAPTER 2

HAVE TO LEAVE

“ You are not a leader in this house, and you have no say in this house. You have no right to get me out of this house.” Jack fired back

“ He is the leader now,and anything he says here in this house is final,    if you have any grievances, you can go to court just as the lawyer has stated, and that is only if you have the money to do so” Uncle Daniel said.

They all burst into hilarious laughter.

“ I challenge you all. You are all thieves, and I am not going to stand by and look while you squander off my fathers’s hard earned property and possessions.” Jack shouted on top of his voice.

“ Well, you can actually be right on that part.

You can challenge the will of your father in court, but that does not guarantee that you are going to win. Besides, from today, you are no longer a member of this family.

You are hereby forbidden from ever entering this house again in your entire life.” George said in a mocking tone.

All the others nodded and cheered him on.

Jack realized what was going on at that moment.

Everybody had teamed up to come against him.

He knew for sure that his fathers’s testament had been tampered with, however, since it had been stated on the will, that meant that power had been handed over to George, unless he could prove otherwise with evidence.

He realized it was all over for him.

Coupled with the fact that he was going to be thrown out of the house, he knew it was going to be a real tough journey in proving them wrong, he needed a lot of evidence at that moment, he had none.

“ Now, I say you should get out of the house.

You have no business here.

Note that your account has been blocked, and you can no longer access any funds from it.

Now guards, throw him out of here” George said.

The guards in the place at that moment charged at Jack at once.

Jack knew it was over for him.

George and his uncle had bought their way through and were now trying to get him down.

Jack tried hard to struggle himself free from the grip of the guards, but they were too powerful for him.

They pulled him out from the conference room and subsequently out of the compound of the mansion.

Jack was left stranded as to what to do.

He knew that he could not gain entrance again, and there was nowhere he could go.

He kept contemplating where he was going to go and what she was going to do to go back into the house

He wondered what was really going on that had made him lose all his possessions and even his shelter in just a single minute

As he stood there, a thought came into his mind to go to his girlfriend’s house.

He needed to clear his head first before he could think of anything.

He took out his phone and made an attempt to call, but the call did not go through. 

He set off and made his way to his Girlfriend’s house.

He walked on a thirty minute journey to his girlfriend’s house.

Jack walked into the compound without a knock.

He noticed that his girlfriend was in the house .

He just walked into the room, which was halfway opened.

There was no one there.

He was about to call out to his girlfriend, but something caught his attention.

He noticed some dresses and shoes on the floor.

There was a male shirt and a female dress and shoes for both genders.

Jack recognised the dress at once.

The dress was the same thing his girlfriend had worn to come visit him that morning.

Suspiciously, he walked slowly and quietly to the bedroom.

As he got to the door, he heard some noises in the room.

The door was already halfway opened.

He slowly peeped into the room.

Jack’s whole body began trembling vigorously as he beheld the scene in front of him.

He stood up properly in the room and screamed.

“ Tracy!!!” Jack screamed his whole lungs out.

Tracy and the man jumped in terror.

They were both scared as hell.

Jack recognised the man at once.

It was his best friend, Alfred.

“ Alfred, what are you doing here? With my girlfriend?” Jack screamed

Albert looked at him with a smile.

“ Jack, what on earth are you doing here? Why will you come here without calling to inform me first, huh?” Tracy said with a serious face.

“ What is this, Tracy? You did not tell me that this loser will be coming here today” Alfred asked.

Tracy smiled at him.

“I am sorry, Ignore him, babe. This fool did not tell me he would be coming around.” Tracy replied and shot Jack a deadly stare

The words from Tracy sent chills down Jack’s spines.

He could feel his whole body shaking, and it was as though he had no control over his own body anymore.

Jack was rendered speechless.

He tried to say something but his mouth and his strength failed him.

“ Oh, this is him, right, young man. The next time you walk into somebody’s room, don't forget to knock on the door.

You don't go around barging into people’s rooms and shouting their names.

Now, if you would excuse me, kindly leave here, I am in the middle of a serious business.” Alfred said mockingly, and the two laughed.

Jack’s eyes were sore red. He was struggling to find his feet.

His whole body went numb, and he was looking more or less like a statue.

“ Tracy.. Alfred …Tracy… Alfred……Tracy..” was the only thing Jack could mutter.

“ Get out of here, Jack,” Tracy fumed.

Those words gave Jack some strength to talk back.

“ Tracy, what on earth did I do to deserve this from you?

Why will you bring another man to our house?

Why would you cheat on me with another man, more so, my friend,  my very best friend ” Jack asked.

His voice was shaky, and his speech was quite slower than usual

“Did I just hear you say our house?".

For your information Mr man, this house belongs to me.

The name on the documents is mine, so this house is mine.” Tracy replied as she sat up in bed.

Alfred did not talk. Instead, he was lying on the bed with a mocking smile on his face.

“ Tracy, how could you do this to me after all that I have done for you.

I loved you, Tracy. I loved you.

Where did I go wrong?” Jack asked.

“ Yes, you loved me, but I never loved you.

I never loved you, Jack. I was just waiting for you for the money, but I guess I have enough from you now.

As you can see, I am

enjoying my life with my real boyfriend.

Now get out of here before I call the police on you for invasion of privacy." Tracy said with a mean face

“ And you Alfred, I called you my friend.

I knew you were my friend, and I thought you were the one I can lean on in case of any issue” Jack said, pointing an accusing finger at him .

“ We are no longer friends, boy, and just so you know, I know about the fact that your cousin is now the new leader of your family.

And I am his friend. You have been evicted from the house, and I am aware of that, too.

Now, please get out of here ” Alfred said mockingly.
