Inside one of the gardens in the city of Denton

"Hey ...!!"

"Hey boy !!"

" Wake up ... "

Michael's eyelashes slowly moved as his gray eyes opened.

"You're finally awake, young boy! If it weren't for your moving chest, I would have thought you were dead..."

Michael rubbed his eyes and looked at the old man who was speaking incessantly. The man was wearing a woolen hat, a gray coat, and carrying a wooden cane. He had a white beard and a face full of wrinkles. He seemed friendly.

Michael was in a bad mood, he adjusted himself and sat on the grass, saying in a gruff voice, "Who are you!?"

The old man smiled and looked at the young man in front of him, who looked like a homeless person.

"My name is Musa, and I don't want anything from you, young boy. I was just passing by here and saw you sleeping on the grass. I thought to myself, this boy needs someone to help him, so I decided to wake you up..."

Michael nodded his head and said as he stretched his limbs, "Well, thank you for your concern, but I don't need anyone's help. I can take care of myself."

The old man Musa, spoke again, diverting the topic, "Do you really think so? Do you think life is easy and simple?"

The old man's words struck a sensitive chord in Michael, reminding him of yesterday's events without his conscious awareness. He let out a long sigh and said,

"No, I don't think so. I know very well that life is harsh and complicated. And I know that the world only cares about itself. So I don't need pity or compassion from anyone."

The old man shrugged his shoulders and said, "Well, if that's your opinion, then there's no need to argue about it. But at least let me offer you breakfast with me at the nearby café. Perhaps you feel hungry and cold..."

Michael waved his hand and said, "I'm not hungry or cold..."

And he added in a weak whisper, "Leave me alone, old man. I have real problems in my life and I need a clear mind to think about how to solve them..."

The old man, Musa, raised his eyebrows, and despite his advanced age, he managed to hear Michael's whisper. "Real problems? Like what?"

Michael frowned, but when he saw the old man's curious appearance, he seized the opportunity and began talking about his problems to relieve some tension.

"Like my father, who kicked me out of the house due to our conflicts..."

Musa patiently listened to the young man in front of him, then after a period of silence, he said, "He doesn't want to see you? And why is that? What are the conflicts between you?"

Michael shook his head and said, "Sorry, I don't want to talk about it. It's personal."

"Well, no need to apologize. I don't want to pry into your privacy. But I know that fatherhood is something great and sacred. And a father loves his son no matter the circumstances. And a son needs support and guidance from his father. Don't sever your relationship with him and try to reconcile..."

Michael sighed, "I've tried that, but it didn't work."

After a period of silence, Musa smiled and asked, "So, what are your ambitions in this life, young boy!?"

Michael was stunned by the sudden question. He looked down and murmured audibly, "Ambitions? Actually, I haven't even thought about it yet!"

The old man clung to Michael's shoulder and said, "Exactly! this is the reason .."

"Because of this, your father probably underestimated you!"

Michael shook his head. "You don't understand. That man doesn't care about these things. I have an older brother who is five years older than me, and he has the ambition you're talking about, but still, his situation is the same as mine!"

"Oh, really! Tell me, what is your brother's ambition?" the old woman asked.

"He wants to become a singer and compose his own songs and stuff like that!"

"That ambition! Do you think it's enough to live on? Do you think that art, travel, and love will bring you money and power? Let's assume that singing brings in money, but power! In my opinion, those you call artists are just clowns whom those in power give money to in order to distract them. In simpler terms, they are mere slaves."

Michael raised his head and stared at the strange old man with a different look. He admired the old man's thinking, raised his eyebrows, and asked, "Money and power? What do you mean by that?"

The old man replied,

"Oh, boy, life is a struggle, challenge, and adventure. If you want to live happily, you must focus on building your future and acquiring money and power. Money is the key to everything in this era, and power is what allows you to protect your wealth and interests and not be a slave. And when I mention power, I mean authority ! , So don't waste your time on empty passions..."

Michael sank into deep thought after hearing the old man's words. The old man raised his arm and looked at his smartwatch.

"Oh! It's already 10 O'Clock , in the morning. Boy, I wanted to invite you for breakfast, but I'm somewhat in a hurry. Mygranddaughter , camel is coming today, and I need to pick her up. Anyway, it was nice to meet you. I don't even know why I had such a long conversation with you. Hahahaha..."

The old man left after delivering his words and apologized to Michael.

"What a strange man!"

Michael looked at the old man's back and muttered,

"But his words are true, they are an unchanging reality. Only with power, money, and authority can I control my life and punish those traitors..."

He looked up at the sky and said, "If I attain these things, that man will undoubtedly stop being a little whore..."

He stopped thinking about it due to the endless rumbling of his stomach. He got up from the ground, straightened his clothes, and left for a small restaurant near the university.

"Thank you, Ms. Wendy," Michael smiled at the charming lady. Ms. Wendy was a woman in her thirties, with black braided hair and dark skin that enhanced her beauty and charm, especially those deep blue eyes.

"Enjoy your meal, dear!" she replied with a enchanting smile as she placed the scrambled eggs and coffee on the table. Wendy ran a small restaurant that served quick and simple meals like scrambled eggs, which was Michael's favorite dish.

"Oh! Isn't this the prince with the broken heart?"

Michael turned to look at the source of the voice, which was a man in his forties with a good hairstyle that would have made him handsome if it weren't for the small scar under his left eye.

This man was kole, the husband of the beautiful lady who had brought Michael the food. According to their words, kole and Wendy had been a couple for ten full years. There was one thing that puzzled Michael, and that was kole's occupation, which was a mystery to him. He even suspected that this man was a gang leader or something similar because in recent days, Michael remembered well , how this man managed to overcome a crowd of ten or more people, all of them armed with different weapons like knives.

Kole placed his black phone on the table and said again, while looking at the young man having breakfast, "I heard that whore..." Wendy's sharp voice interrupted him,

"kole!! Watch your language."

He raised his hands in surrender and said, "Alright! Alright, but I'm not wrong. That word just describes that girl who abandoned this handsome man and broke his heart. Look at his face, how pale he is and the desperate aura around him."

Michael sprayed the coffee he was drinking, coughed heavily, and said with an ugly expression, "Cough, cough... I didn't expect you guys to know about this matter!"

Kole raised his eyebrows and said in an astonished tone, "Seriously! Everyone knows about this matter. Look, for some reason, this news spread like wildfire. You know that nowadays these social media means are a double-edged sword, and it seems, my friend, that you got the sharp edge!"

Michael placed the coffee cup on the table, a trace of anger in his gray eyes, clenched his teeth.

He knew that there was someone behind the spread of the news of Susan's betrayal. He clenched his teeth and thought about the possible identity of the person. "Louis!"

Kole got up from his seat, picked up his black leather jacket, and patted Michael on the shoulder. "Anyway, don't think about it too much. I know the feeling of betrayal very well... Just forget about it and consider it a lesson in your life." Michael nodded and smiled.

These recent events allowed him to control his facial expressions and also gain control over himself.

He put this matter aside and began to think about a fleeting idea of how he could achieve wealth in a short time.

Of course, it wasn't the idea that just occurred to you .

Michael wasn't desperate to that extent! This idea was dangerous, actually extremely dangerous, and also something bad according to the standards of law and society.

"With the heavenly werewolf system, and also with Max's help, the plan can succeed."

He got up from the chair after finishing his meal, put the money on the table, and bid Wendy farewell.

Kole had already left earlier, using the excuse of going to work.

He pulled out his phone and was surprised to see multiple missed calls.

The calls were from his mother, who had called about twenty times, and there was also a call from Julia and Max.

"Most likely, my mother and Julia are worried about me!" Michael sighed, pressed Max's number, and called him.

"Finally!! I called you a hundred times!! Where were you!? Your mother and sister are going crazy with worry about you..." Max bombarded Michael with words, to the point that Michael had to move the phone away from his ear.

"I'm fine, my friend. Are you free now? Let's meet at that place..."

As soon as he hung up with Max, he called his mother...

Ramos sighed deeply, trying to push away the feeling of despair that engulfed him. His eyes followed Harry's bewildered gaze towards the broken space, filled with thousands of shimmering mirrors reflecting painful memories. The scene resembled shattered dreams, each mirror holding a piece of Harry's past, from the days of battles to the small moments spent away from the battlefield."I've endured a tough life, my friend. I can't even imagine the extent of the pain I've been through," Ramos said softly, patting Harry's shoulder tenderly, trying his best to offer comfort. He felt the weight of Harry's words in his heart, as if they were slowly piling up like stones, yet he knew his consolation was the least he could do.Harry smiled wearily, looking at Ramos, and said with a mix of sadness and acceptance, "It was my fate, and I'm content with it... I've learned to accept what cannot be changed... even if it was a bad fate. I don't know why I'm still alive, but I'm grateful for that, and

“Who is this person!?” Ramos asked in a solemn tone as he pointed to the man floating in midair. He felt like he was just an ant, even if this scene was just a memory, he could feel the man's terrifying strength. "This is Eclipse, or that's what he called himself," Harry answered in a sad tone, as if the scene before him had made him feel something he had forgotten. He did not add anything other than revealing the man's name. He only pointed to the scene that had begun to come to life. “Heh, my family would definitely love this planet, the ruins, the destruction, the corpses everywhere...” The man known as Eclipse said sarcastically as he stared around with emotionless eyes as if he had seen his fair share of corpses and destruction. “Well it's war, what do you expect, man...” Harry answered in an exhausted voice while looking at Eclipse warily, he was clearly sensing the frightening aura coming from the latter. “Your condition, my friend, is not good. I see a fair amount of en

"Finally I've arrived..." Harry murmured as he looked at the city that was starting to become clear. A deep frown formed on his face when he noticed the miserable state of the city. This scene reminded him of the monsters invading his city and how desperate he was in confronting them. “I'm not strong enough yet. If I had enough power, I would make sure the monster race was wiped out of existence. “Damn, damn it, damned monsters, even after running for several miles, you are still running after me...” Harry said indignantly as he ran at a crazy speed, stopping between trees every now and then. Behind him were all the trees falling followed by a terrifying roar, behind him was a horde of crimson-skinned rhinos known for their formidable defense. What was surprising was that even with transferring a lot of points to the agility attribute and using the ability of super speed along with the ability to manipulate gravity to make his body light, he still could not get rid of the horde of rhinos. All of this happened when he parted ways with the Alpha Squad. Apparently something big happened because Harry can remember the features and tone of Zeal's angry voice when he assigned him a special mission. While he was running towards the place that Zeal told him, he was attacked by a rhinoceros with crimson skin. He was able to kill him with difficulty due to... Because this monster ha

Suddenly the door to the next cabin opened “As I told you, Lina, it's dangerous this time. If you don't want to go, I can tell my father not to send you there...” A young man who appeared to be in his twenties, distinguished by his blonde hair tied in a ponytail, spoke. The young man was tall and of medium size. . “How many times have I told you, Charles, that this is none of your business, I know what to do...” replied Lina, the woman who had previously transported all the residents of Yermo City. A middle-aged man standing behind them sighed and said While patting Charles on the shoulder “Okay that's enough, let me introduce you to Alpha Squad...” He pointed at Harry and the others who were staring at them. Zeal got up and walked forward. The man smiled and extended his hand to shake hands with Zeal, who responded to the handshake and said “Samir, long time no see, it seems you have acquired some souvenirs...” Zeal was pointing at the scar under Samir’s chin.
