Chapter 59. Low grade Beast Mission.
Kirin walked outside the training hall, the sun shone brightly on his pale face. He looked around, realizing that he knew nowhere around the Academy. He sought to ask some students for directions but got scornful looks from some well dressed students. He ignored them and began walking to the centre of the Academy, he decided he would find his way from there. It took him some minutes but he eventually found himself at the center of the Academy.It seemed more like a wide empty space in the middle of several buildings all in a circle. At the very centre of the space, there was a huge wooden board with papers glued and littered across the board. He approached the board carefully, then began reading the notices littered about.Sure enough there were other students, they did mind him and he didn't mind them either."Low level demon beasts, late stage energy gathering warriors" he whispered to himself. Kirin's heart thumped wildly in his chest, he sharply looked at Master Dan, unsure of what to say and how to respond. Master Dan gazed at Kirin. "So you dare cultivate the lightning element. Such arrogance. Come!" He beckoned Kirin over.Kirin didn't move. Not alone. He looked at Seth who had set his blade on fire, fire was the element that Seth was most familiar with. Kirin followed suite, covering his blade in an aura of lightning.They both dashed forward. The edges of their blades were sharp and made even sharper because of the element infusion. As they attacked, Master Dan finally moved but not away from them, but towards them.It seemed like his goal was truly to test them, for he never really placed a finger on them, he simply weaved through their attacks and seamlessly.Kirin shot out streaks of lightning that never seemed to hit the target. Even mid air, Master Dan evaded all the attacks. Seth summoned several fire balls and flung them at him, even swung with his blade but no matter how close he got, his attack barely landed.This kept on for quite some time until the two boys were exhausted

"What the hell?" Kirin cursed, he stood up and dashed to another side of the wall. Seth did the same but to the exact opposite wall."Who the hell was that?" I wasn't trying to kill them Sara, I just... was testing you know. Testing." Master Dan replied, scratched his head and looked away from her small figure.Kirin looked at both of them confused. Then straightened himself. He walked away from the wall, towards the little woman. "Are we supposed to be here? I'm sorry if we got the wrong hall.
