Inside Glamour, an employee walked down the hallway with a look of uncertainty. He was wearing a parking uniform.

Upon encountering Adrian walking in the opposite direction, the employee decided to open up to him. "Mr. Curtis!"

Adrian could have walked right past, but because the employee was someone of a lower position, he stopped, thinking of the past glory when his father was at the company.

"Yes?"

"We captured something on the surveillance cameras, and there's real evidence in the parking lot." The employee scratched his head.

"Please, tell me what it was. I'll inform management immediately," Adrian said, although inside he had other plans.

If he could solve this problem on his own, perhaps the other employees would see him as capable and qualified to be the manager, just like his father was...

So, he walked with the young parking attendant to the booth.

Inside, one of the computers was being used to display the selected recording.

"Look at this, Mr. Curtis. These people

Something stirred in Briana — more than duty, more than obligation. It was pride. Her grandfather’s legacy ran through her veins, and suddenly, the call to defend it was louder than her doubts.“I only wish I knew who actually owns Glamour,” she muttered, half to herself. “We’ve never seen the guy. He’s never once shown his face. I just hope he doesn’t turn out to be a problem... or accuse me of violating some exclusivity clause.”“Talk to Mark first,” Nadir advised, “then give us your answer.”“You already have it,” Briana said, standing. Her voice had settled into steel. “But first, I have two places to go.”The other women glanced at each other in surprise. Two places?Briana was already walking toward the door when she threw her answer over her shoulder. “I’m going to the Sodré Mansion to get Katrina out of there. She’s probably having dinner with Lawrence... or worse.”******Outside the towering Sodré Mansion...The lights in the master suite still burned behind thick curtains.

Althea turned back to her granddaughter, her tone thoughtful. “Briana, you know Lawrence Sodré better than anyone. You were classmates in college. That’s why I thought he would be a suitable match.”“Yes, Grandma,” Briana answered with a bittersweet smile. “He’s from a good family, runs his own bank, is highly respected. And yes... he’s handsome, fit, and very attractive. He posts some... steamy photos online that drive women wild. But what my father and Mark have said about him — it makes sense.”Nadir’s voice trembled slightly. “You really believe he was so obsessed with you that he tried to drug and kidnap you to make you his?”“I do,” Briana said without hesitation. “He showed up out of nowhere when I was already being held captive, claiming he had received an anonymous tip from that disgusting Anthony Curtis. He wanted to play the hero, hoping I’d fall for him and leave Mark.”Althea’s face twisted with revulsion. “How vile! He must have heard about my family-severance contract a

After watching for a moment too long, Katrina joined in, grabbing a dish towel and helping him dry. To any outsider, they might’ve looked like a married couple in their cozy domestic ritual.Lawrence broke the silence. “Katrina, I need to ask you something.”She tilted her head, voice dropping into a suggestive hum. “Anything you want.”“Do you actually believe I’m involved in those wild clubs that hide drugs and prostitution behind velvet curtains?”The question caught her off guard, and she nearly dropped the wine glass she had just dried. Her eyes widened in disbelief.“For Christ’s sake, Lawrence — of course not!”“Then why the delay in telling me about it?” he asked, his tone edged with irritation. “You took forever.”She fumbled for an excuse, her nerves bubbling to the surface. “You know the situation I’m in. My father had a heart attack while fighting with my uncle. He’s still in the hospital.”Lawrence gave a curt nod.“And now, with him out of the picture, people want to can

Briana sat on the edge of the master bed, now dressed in a delicate camisole, the soft fabric brushing her skin as she held her phone close. Her voice was low, filled with a mixture of relief and tension as she spoke. “Mark confirmed everything for me, my friend.”Far away, in the bedroom of Karl and Luana’s apartment, Luana settled onto the new double bed they’d recently purchased — a replacement for the one they’d shattered during one of their more wild and uninhibited nights. She adjusted the silk camisole she wore, the smooth material shimmering faintly in the dim light. “So it’s really true? Lawrence Sodré is our villain?”“Yes,” Briana replied without hesitation. “And my smart cousin even secured a bank loan.”Luana’s eyes narrowed with concern. “But you told your father, right?”Briana sighed deeply. “Mark visited him at the family mansion — he’s bedridden now — and my mother tried warning Katrina, but...”Luana perched at the head of the bed, still fiddling with her nightwear.

Meanwhile, at the Vasconcelos Mansion, Althea sat at the head of the dining table, hoping for a peaceful meal — if only her daughters-in-law would stay quiet. But Nadir and Claudia had chosen tonight to quarrel, their words sharp as knives.“You won’t get away with this, Nadir,” Claudia hissed, slicing into her filet mignon with practiced elegance.Nadir shrugged, chewing calmly on a roasted chicken thigh. “Who said anything about getting away from anything? I own my mistakes.”Althea frowned. “Must we have such coarse language at the table?”Claudia’s triumphant smile grew wider.“I’m simply pointing out that I wasn’t attacking Katrina when I warned about Lawrence Sodré’s influence over our company.”Althea turned to her daughter-in-law. “Claudia, perhaps we should pause production on the series until these accusations are fully investigated.”Nadir nodded in agreement. “Exactly. The last thing we need is to be complicit in a seedy nightclub scheme — especially if it’s the final nail

In the study, Regis approached Mark’s desk, powering on the computer that had been in standby. He settled into his chair and began typing, then slipped on headphones and connected to the private communications network of Lord Ferro.Opening a camera feed, he waited for the other side to respond. At the Braspolis General Hospital, Vargas, still acting as a physician, reclined in the small rest room. A surgeon who had spent the entire afternoon operating now snored heavily in one of the beds.Moving quietly away from the sleeping doctor, Vargas lifted his left wrist to reveal a sleek, technological bracelet — the very one Mark had planned to give Celia on their wedding anniversary — and used it to contact Regis.“The situation’s so serious we can’t even talk on the phone?” Vargas asked.“The less we use regular communication, the better,” Regis replied seriously.“Understood. Patient Ryan Ribas is still improving.”“Are you overseeing everything?”Vargas smiled. “Relax. I’ve assigned tw
