Ch.6 - The 7 Great Power In the Chenwu Continen

Xiang Chen has released all the prisoners or slaves. The slaves were all grateful because apart from freeing them, Xiang Chen also gave them some food.

But there was still one problem they needed to face and that was how they would escape from this Liu Family residence.

Then for the 7 great powers that rule the Chenwu Continent among them is the Pill God Sect. As the name suggests, the Pill God Sect focused its studies on Alchemy. Even though this sect was the smallest and weakest among the 7 great powers, no one dared to offend them.

All cultivators needed pills, of course there was no way they would carelessly offend the Alchemists in the Pill God Sect or they would be blacklisted, making them unable to buy pills at any shop.

This Pill God Sect had branches throughout all the Empires and major cities on the Chenwu Continent called the Medicine Hall. If one wanted to become an Alchemist or obtain an Alchemist badge then they could go to the Medicine Hall.

Then another great power that no one dared to offend was the God Formation Sect whose members were all Formation Masters.

Similarly to the Pill God Sect, this sect was also one of the smallest and its members were nothing more than members of the Pill God Sect. It has branches throughout the empire and major cities on the Chenwu Continent which are named Formation Halls.

If you want to get the badge as a Formation Master then you have to take the exam from the Formation Hall.

The next major power was the Southern Poison Sect, located in the southern region of the continent, being the most wary and despised of the major powers because their poison techniques were extremely lethal, making them feared by the other major powers.

The Divine Weapon Sect had also become one of the great powers on the Chenwu Continent due to their expertise in forging weapons and artifacts. All the weapons and artifacts made by this sect must be of the highest quality.

It was said that the Divine Weapon Sect had a close relationship with the God Formation Sect. If the Divine Weapon Sect made weapons or artifacts, the God Formation Sect could enhance those weapons and artifacts with their formation arrays.

Next up is the Sacred Beast Sect. This sect requires its members to have contracts with Spirit Beasts. Normally cultivators could only have 1 contracted Spirit Beast.

But the Sacred Beasts Sect had a special technique that allowed them to contract more than 1 Spirit Beast. The maximum amount is unknown.

This makes the Sacred Beast Sect very difficult to deal with because if you want to face them, you have to face the Spirit Beasts that they contract so that there will never be one-on-one words when dealing with members of this sect, always bring friends.

Even though the Sacred Beast Sect was troublesome, there was one other major force that was their enemy, namely the Demon Beast Sect.

The Demon Beast Sect was practically the complete opposite of the Sacred Beast Sect.

If the Sacred Beast Sect taught to make contracted Spirit Beasts as good friends, love and cherish them, the Demonic Beast Sect made Spirit Beasts their source of power.

The Demonic Beast Sect possessed a certain technique that allowed them to possess Spirit Beast powers by absorbing Spirit Beast cores called Spirit Crystals.

Spirit Crystals are the life essence of Spirit Beasts which contain their special abilities as well as their spirits. The members of the Demonic Beast Sect absorbed the Spirit Crystals, allowing them to transform into Were-beasts according to the Spirit Crystals they absorbed.

It is said that this Demonic Beast Sect hunted many Spirit Beasts to steal their strength. They frequently hunted Spirit Beasts in the territory of the Sacred Beasts Sect, even going so far as to snatch Spirit Beasts contracts of members of the Sacred Beasts Sect.

This is what made the two sects enemies.

Then the last major force was the 1000 Swords Sect. On the Chenwu Continent, swords were indeed the weapons that cultivators were most interested in, so the 1000 Swords Sect became the largest sect with the most members.

It was named 1000 swords because the sect created 1000 positions for the 1000 strongest cultivators called the Holy See.

"Unlucky! Those useless people just made a mess for us! If all the slaves are taken away then the central family will not provide us with the resources that will allow me to break through to the Death Ancestor level.” Liu Han shouted angrily in his heart.
