Out of Control

'Enough of the hugging, you are making it snow' Raymond said opening his palm under the sky letting the snowflakes fall into them.

'I'm not doing anything' Cian muffled over Clint's shoulder

'But I am' Clint said smiling to himself and letting Cian go.

'Thought so, you guys magic combined is more than just snow' Sean said.

'Sorry, I got nothing' Cian said

'Then how do you think you got there' Sean asked

'I fell off the bridge and drowned maybe the water brought here luckily I'm not dead' Cian said his thoughts

'I don't think the water brought you here' Karin said and everyone turned to look at the person who has been silent like she doesn't exist to them.

'What do you think?' Asher asked with irritation, immediately a lump formed on her throat, Asher was the one that terrifies her the most.

'Uhm, coming to the supernatural world' you need to use a portal, I think you created your own portal' Karin explained without her eyes leaving Asher scared that he would vamp to her and suck her blood.

'He didn't open a portal on purpose that's why he doesn't remember doing it, his subconsciousness did it' Sean said trying to put excitement in his voice but it came out blank.

'Ok...ay, so my subconsciousness operates on its own?' Cian asked as everything they said doesn't make any sense.

'Yes, your subconsciousness would do anything to save you that's why it froze the water to prevent you from drowning' Karin said marveled by the incident.

'Clint, did you notice anything strange when you melted the ocean' Sean asked

'No, wait, yes, I heard a voice, it said "it's me", when I asked if anyone said anything their reply was negative' Clint said recalling everything that had happened now made sense to him.

'No wonder no one could melt the ocean because it wasn't a normal magic, it was a twin magic' Karin said recalling all the witches who tried to melt the ocean. 'You've unlock your magic!' Karin said in excitement almost hugging Cian but stopped when she saw Asher glaring at her instead she dusted his shoulder in disappointment.

'No I didn't my subconsciousness did it, remember' Cian said seeing no reason to rejoice suddenly his stomach grumbled.

'I hope I don't miss dinner after skipping lunch?' Cian asked rubbing his stomach.

'Sean' Asher called and Sean brought down the invisiblity cloaking spell down and immediately Raymond took Karin and Vamp out, he dropped her at the academy and left.

They all ate their dinner in the mansion but Cian refused to sleep in the Mansion so they dropped him at one of the rooms in academy dorm which the headmaster, Sebastian provided. Cian felt lonely in the long silence of his new room and found it hard to sleep, he looked out the window and stared at the night sky, he started matching star as he always does when he can't sleep. His ear started ringing in a high pitch sound and his vision got blurry, he started remembering matching the sky when he was little. The pain piercing through his head and ear knocked him out,

'Die, you evil thing, die' he heard a voice say and immediately his eyes peeled open and he saw a black woman holding a knife which was red hot coming closer to him. This woman had the intent to kill him and he panicked and almost screamed. His first instinct this time was to protect himself, he had learnt his lesson, immediately he made for the run to the room door which seemed to be locked from the outside, it's either the woman asked someone to lock the door when she came in or the woman locked the door from outside and somehow appeared inside the room. Cian banged at the door so if someone was near the person would unlock the door,

'Nobody can save you now, it's two in the morning so just die a silent death I promise it would be painless' The black woman said in an accent which seemed from Africa,

"Coming from a woman on holding a red hot knife" his head screamed. She moved closer and raised her hand aiming the knife for his heart, Cian hid his face into his arm. After a while he didn't feel any knife on him so he raised his head only to see the woman stuck in an iceberg, the woman looked really angry but she soon filtered away remaining an empty iceberg. The door lock sound brought him out of his shock, it was Asher, 'Cian!' Asher shouted immediately he opened the door he pulled Cian into a sudden hug and enjoyed his warmth on his skin. Not long the rest arrived,

'Whoa' Raymond said as he saw the huge iceberg inside the room, bringing Asher back to his senses making him to release Cian and behave as if nothing had happened 'Cian you did this?' Clint asked which brought Cian back to himself after the three shock; The woman who tried to kill him, him turning the woman to iceberg and Asher pulling him for an hug, Asher eyes was something he wouldn't miss, fear was pitted into his green eyes.

'No, I mean yes, a woman was here, she almost killed me, I don't know, I shielded my face and this happened' Cian explained trying to regain his usual Charisma.

'You did this' Sean said touching the iceberg, he tried to melt it but it didn't burge a bit

'Don't bother it won't melt' Clint said as he came closer and melted the iceberg, the iceberg melted into water and disappeared, the floor was dry as if it never happened.

'Can we take you to the mansion now?' Clint asked really concerned about his brother, Cian nodded in defeat, he was still staring at Asher who stepped closer and wrapped his arms around his waist and vamp out.

'I would handle the matter with Headmaster Sebastian, go be with your brother' Sean said to Clint who flew away to the mansion, Raymond followed Sean to the headmaster Sebastian's office leaving Asher, Cian and Clint in the mansion. Asher reached the mansion and placed Clint in a room next to his room, the room was made for Cian. The mansion was built the year they entered the academy, they made an extra bedroom which signifies Cian's place, it was already decorated but empty of the owner.

'This is the room you would sleep in, my room is nextdoor, if you need anything just say my name I would hear you' Asher said and turned to leave

'Asher' Cian called stopping Asher on his track 'Nevermind' Cian said on a second thought and close the door, he didn't lock it in case anything happens again. The new bedroom was three times bigger than the one in the dorm and even the one in the human world. He fell on the bed tiredly and immediately fell asleep as if he was sucked into the sleep.

Few hours later there was a knock on the door and there was no response from Cian, after few more knocks there was still no response. Immediately, Clint who was knocking on the door panicked thinking that Cian was in danger. Asher came out of his room intending to go to Cian's room nextdoor only to see Clint pounding on the door. Asher heard Cian whisper his name in pain so he came out to check on him.

'Asher, I think something is wrong' Clint said in fear. Asher panicked, with his hybrid strength he hit the door and it fell.

What they saw gave them a life's shock.
