A robust world - 1

[Deal?]

The demon repeated.

"No...."

[Hm?]

"Just kidding... It's a deal"

[Kekekek...]

.....

[Okay, then Brat. Go on with your promise. Tell me everything about this world of yours]

"Sure thing. Let me recollect everything. It's a bit dusty inside my memories you know. It's been 17 years... Seventeen years since I was born."

[Cough. Sorry for impeding your flashback... But I wanted to know about this world. NOT ABOUT YOU BRAT!!]

"Yea Yea. I know... Chill for a second Mr. Demon Lord... Haizzz, Okay then!! Here I Go!!"

.....

"This planet we live in is called 'BOUNTON' and it amazingly has the same number of continents our previous planet used to have and that is 7"

[Previous Planet?]

"Yes, Previous planet. I don't know a lot about that because I was born here. I only remember some info about it from our history classes."

"It was called 'Earth' and if I remember my classes correctly, then it was 500 years ago that humankind transmigrated from the 'Milky Way Galaxy'..."

"From the information, I read from the books. 500 years ago, that is in the year 2500, due to global warming, the entire continent of Antarctica had melted down and was wiped out from the face of Earth, which in turn gave rise to the increase of the ocean level"

"The Earth plates or the crust's abruptly changed its movement, which gave rise to massive Earthquakes and Tsunamis... The entirety of the planet was hit by the immediate forces of nature."

"It was said that humanity had brought their end on themselves. And by the date of October 20th, almost 60% of humanity was wiped off, or if I am to add in more details then, humanity had lost 3 more continents to Tsunamis and Earthquakes just in a day."

"That day in October was noted down as 'The Judgement Day'..."

[Tell me about this world, Not about the previous one]

"If you wanna know better about this world then it would be way better to know how we reached this planet in the first place."

[.....]

"Now if you won't interrupt me... Can I speak?"

[...]

"I'll take that as a yes"

"Now where was I?. Yeah. So humanity lost three more continents to the calamities and they were... Aha!. The North and South America and the continent of Australia."

"But a few percentages of people were able to survive from the lost continents as well. And then it all came to the remaining three continents."

"Asia, Europe, and Africa"

"And Thankfully, millions of scientists had prophesied the downfall of the world, so they had commenced the work for the survival of humanity way before the calamities struck..."

"Even though the scientists had prophesied, the denizens were a bit too lazy to act on their own. Maybe that's why only 35% of humanity survived 'The Judgement Day'..."

"By the end of November, The Earth had lost another 5% of its population from the remaining 40% which brought it to the 35% as I said before"

"But the preparations for the survival of mankind were ready. Thankfully, Humanity had some gifted people among them, who were able to invent the 'Warp Ship' which was able to contain all of the remaining 35% and escape to this Galaxy which we call 'les pardonnés' or 'The Forgiven'..."

"Only 21 billion from the 60 billion were able to survive"

"But the extraordinary article our ancestors found out as they reached here on this planet and this galaxy was that... it seemed almost synonymous, if not completely, to their previous one."

"What surprised them the most was the availability of Oxygen and other 'EARTHLY MATERIALS'..."

"This Galaxy has 8 planets, 1 despondent planet, and the planet on which we stand mirrors the planet Earth"

"But... the events that took place after is what evolved mankind to this extent that you'll know about soon..."

"The planet was deserted, in the context that there existed no biotic or living organisms except plants on the planet..."

"Because there was no entity that could impede their development. The Humans were able to build their bases to an extent and had soon spread out to different continents"

"But things changed. In just a matter of 5 years after when mankind finally settled down on the planet, hundreds of spatial tears occurred throughout the world causing panic and giving rise to unimaginable creatures to leap out of the tears..."

"These spatial cracks then came to be known as 'Spazes'... which in the past used to and presently will occur randomly at any place around the world and even at multiple areas"

[Oh... Interesting.]

"What's funny about them is that the events correspond to the novels I read which were believed to be originally from the planet Earth."

.....

Jin couldn't clasp his smirk as he proclaimed his next sentence.

"And just like it gave rise to the monsters, it gave rise to the new Era of HUNTERS."

[Hm?. Oho!... Go On]

"HUNTERS were people who were gifted insane powers which used to be mere fantasies to humankind. It was believed to happen due to the sudden rupture of the magnetic field covering the entirety of the planet."

"It was also believed that the essence from the spatial tears laid the first stone to the metamorphosis of humans that lead them to evolve similar to the monsters which had immense power within them"

"Slowly, in a matter of a few more years, every living human was gifted with the power of a 'System'..."

"... 'A Talking Entity' ... believed to know everything about its user... I still wonder how the spatial cracks managed to hand out this 'system' powers to us."

"Doesn't matter... Anyways.."

"From that day on began the hegemony of humanity again. But this time, they were prudent to not cross the line as they did on 'Earth'..."

"Yes, humanity was able to defeat those monsters, but there existed many casualties that held up to be committed from the human side as well... billions had lost their lives in the deathmatch between the 'Monsters and the Hunters'..."

"Even though 21 billion people existed in (BOUNTON) at that time, the population had risen to only 25 billion, even after a whole period of 500 years"

"It was not because of the decrease in the birth rate... instead, the death rate had risen by leaps and bounds."

"It's been just a century that the things had begun becoming governed and organized again.

......

"The spatial cracks were invariant, they still appeared around the planet, but the humans were prosperous in comprehending their powers and were able to classify them into ranks... just like they always did back in the earth... Classification... It's such a 'Human' thing."

"And the classifications, as it goes, is like this..."

"First, the rank is classified to 'Tiers'..."

"Bronze is the weakest tier. Then follows Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and ultimately the 'Monarch Rank"

"These tiers, as well, are classified to ranks"

"For example, The Bronze tier is classified to...

 1. Low Tier Bronze

 2. Mid Tier Bronze

 3. High Tier Bronze..."

"The following tiers till Diamond are ranked in this analogous fashion and hunters are ranked according to their tier... But the ranking with the 'Monarchs' is done in a very different way"

"As they reach the rank of a Hunter Monarch, their powers are near impossible to calculate. Therefore, they are allowed to duke it out with each other to determine the strongest."

"There can be an infinite number of Hunter Monarchs, but the Top 10 'Strongest Monarchs' are the only ones who are allowed to keep their title as a 'Hunter Monarch'. The rest below the top ten rankings will be still known as Diamond Tier Hunters."

"And then comes the topic which will determine the ranking of Tiers. Of course, You can rank up simply as you level up... But the most important thing that'll matter is the 'Power Level' when the user gets to the rank of Diamond"

"One must have the power level of 10 million if they wish to conquer the Gold Tier rankings and move on to the Diamond Tier and then from there to the Monarch Tier."

"As there are still no limits to how much a human can level up, the 'Power Level' will matter the most when it comes to ranking among the Diamond and The Monarch Tiers."

"From the current reports, a human can level up to an infinite extent... and the highest level a human ever achieved and is still 'Grinding' is the level of 569. That man is called the strongest man alive. His name is Ezariel Garcia."

[And that's the person I want you to take me to]

"Um... I'll try... He's the strongest monarch out there... I don't even know how I'll get to him."

[Well... That's your problem. If you want to get rid of me... You got to take risks.]

"That's right. But I have to level up myself to that extent that I'll get to join his Hunter's Guild"

[Guild?... That must be like a battalion or faction I guess?. You don't have to worry about that. You have the Demon Lord by your side.]

"Yeah. Even though it's sus."

[Stop it brat... Now was that all about the world?]

"Nope, there's a lot more to come... especially the interesting part."

[Oh... then what's the delay?... I am looking forward to it... just shoot]

.....
