Jin's scream ricocheted off the walls of the quadrangle.

His system was uttering some mad sense inside him. The Demon Lord?? Like what??!!.

[Okay, enough with the screaming, brat]

Jin went silent, like the deep and husky voice inside him told him to do so. It just crossed his mind that if by any chance, the system was actually the demon lord, then it would be better for him to listen to it first before deducing a conclusion.

It was also not the sole reason why he went mute. Jin was 17 and almost 3 months away from becoming an adult. It was high time that he terminated his reckless and irrational temperament and for the time being, make an effort to focus on putting the scattered pieces together.

'I have to stop being like those stupid MCs in the novel... I gotta stop!!'

'But how even in the first place did this... Demon Lord... possess my system??'

Jin fell into a trance of thoughts as he peered into the roof above him. The deep, husky inside him had also stopped conversing.

It was in the toilet, it was there, where it all began going crazy.

Jin recalled him slipping and banging his head hard in the urinal. For a split second, he had felt the sharp, piercing pain clamor behind his cranium. But it had perished just as his vision came to be.

He remembered everything being hazy when he blacked out, He found his consciousness drown in an unfathomable chasm.. it was oddly analogous to sinking deep into a quagmire of thoughts.

It appeared to be a veneer, but at the same time, it felt so real.

Then it appeared, that memory of his, which played right in front of his vision. It even made him question reality for a whole minute as he saw and heard the lady enunciate about the 'Demon System'.

"To understand and battle the enemy you have to at the very least first acknowledge that he exists"

Yes. That was what the lady had said. For Jin, the memory this time was a bit more evident. His thoughts had affirmed that the lady was none other than Lady Gloria who had arrived from the 'Church Council'.

Now, while the query as to why Lady Gloria arrived at his school was still an ambivalence to Jin, the lingering mystery veiling the question was soon shot down by one of his correlating abrupt memory.

In a second, he had recollected why a member of the 'Church Council' had visited his school a year ago.

It was, in Lady Gloria's words, to enlighten the 'doves' of the 'Almighty' about the 'Demon Systems'.

It was maybe a year ago or so. But the sudden appearance of the 'Demon System' had the world and the media in an uproar.

People were suddenly awakening 'Otherworldly Systems' which possessed demons in them. Even though the power of a single 'Demon System' was destructive and immense, the control over them was just as arduous, bringing them to a level close to being impossible.

The first appearance of the so called 'Demon System' took place in the Continent of Norazia, in the Country of Artemis.

As per reports and from the confessions of the witnesses, a lady Hunter, suddenly went haywire during her patrol, destroying everything in her sight.

'She was a Devil!!... Some... Something sinister... it was looming... looming around... around her body... it was as if... it was as if it had possessed her body!!'

Jin remembered watching a traumatized witness confess to the media.

Hundreds of people had caught the 'lady monster' on reels and Jin himself had watched a dozen of those videos.

In those blurry, shaky videos was a woman in her mid-twenties. She brandished a katana on her grip and menacingly strode towards the civilians, wreaking havoc to the buildings beside her.

She was veiled by a red ominous aura, which not only draped her body but her sharp weapon as well. A touch of the katana blade had sliced a whole building into two.

But the frightening thing about the chilling event was that the possessed woman was unconscious.

To declare it frankly, she was robbed of her action rights.

The possessed hunter was wreaking havoc in City Plasma and there was no stop to the vandalism.

However...

The media was quick enough to cover the events unfolding in 'City Plasma' as choppers encircled and recorded the hunter from the skies.

What Jin remembered watching from the precise and HDR recording of the zoomed chopper camera was nothing other than the phrase 'breathtaking'.

It was just like the witnesses had to say. She, the hunter, was unconscious and her eyes were blood red, through which red demonic aura spewed out, greeting the air around her.

....

Soon... because of the destruction, she wreaked... The demon possessed hunter was declared a Calamity Level hazard and on her head was imposed a bounty worth 2 million within an hour.

Even though there were no serious fatalities, there were still lacerations to civilians and damage to acreage.

But...

Even after the involvement of almost 10 Gold Tier Hunters, taking her down seemed preposterous.

The Country had given up all their hope, their Top Gold Tier hunters were no match for the demon. Even though they had Diamond Tier Hunters, they were out on various missions.

Talk about timing.

Jin soon reminisced the reporter despairing as he watched the scenes on the battlefield...

"It's sad to say this, but what we are seeing is all, but just a lost cause... The Hunters have no way of thwarting this defected hunter..."

That was when 'he' contrived his arrival.

That boy, who was endowed with a 50 Level system the day he was born. That very boy who was now a bold man.

... had made his entrance.

And that was the end...

No, Literally... That was the end...

The end of the possessed hunter's havoc spree.

Because the moment Ezariel touched the road she was on... whatever possessed the lady hunter was quelled along with the destruction.

Because of Ezariel's Presence.

The pure aura Ezeriel emitted was adequate to veto a bewitched hunter that even 10 Gold Tier Hunters couldn't touch. That footage was enough to prove his worth as the No.1 Hunter Monarch.

It was enough to prove his title as 'The Strongest Man in the universe'.

Jin felt omniscient as he drifted inside his thoughts. It was as if his thoughts were being played inside him one by one by a mysterious force who was manipulating... or in simple terms, tinkering with his memories.

Well, guess what?.

Someone was!!... someone really was tinkering with his memories.

[So that's what happened to one of my trusted adherents...]

[Hmmm... Makes sense as to why he didn't report even after a year]

[Guess the experiment didn't work...]

[... And looks like I am trapped inside a lowly human being]

[Oi Brat... Tch... What was his name again??... Ah... Oi Jin Brat]

"Yes?"

Jin responded just as he broke up with his thoughts when his weird system called out to him again.

[Tell me how this world works... And I need info quick!!...]

[Because I sense someone dangerous lingering around this stone building]

"But who are you???!... AND HOW THE HELL DID YOU BECOME MY SYSTEM??
