There was a knock on the door. A luxurious food tray was pushed inside. There was a red velvet cake in the middle of the platter.

The trolley was pushed in by a man in a waiter's uniform. Seraphina is surprised to see the red cake. She'd ordered a chocolate and banana layer cake. She wasn't expecting it to be covered in red velvet icing sugar.

"It was sugar-coated with red? That's weird." She laughed. "Anyways, since it's still not midnight yet, there's still time to celebrate your Big 30. Congratulations on successfully reaching adulthood."

CLAP!!

CLAP!!

Adams could only shake his head in despair. The people surrounding him are either dangerous or drama queens. What's with being a full-grown adult at 30? He still recalls that one is an adult at 18 and a full-grown adult at 21.

Adams didn't mind Seraphina's childishness. "Alright, let's do this quick

Its aura pulsed violently, each beat of power bending gravity, tearing air, and cracking the ground beneath Adams’ feet .Adams gritted his teeth.“…Yeah. This isn’t just a fight,” he muttered, shaking. Blood from previous wounds dripped onto cracked obsidian. “…This is a slaughterhouse.”The Striker moved. Not a dash, not a step but an eruption of force , smashing through the air like a meteor. The sky fractured like glass under pressure. Thin lines of white light spider-webbed across the blue, pulsing once… twice… then stabilizing into a hovering lattice.Adams slowly pushed himself to his feet, every muscle protesting.“…System,” he said hoarsely, eyes fixed upward, “tell me that’s not another bird.”The system didn’t answer immediately. That alone made his stomach drop. The village shimmered.
