Setting rules to be violated

Nina worked through the night writing the guide and rules for the base to discuss with Eagan tomorrow before he left scavenging.

# There should be no fighting amongst survivors in the base; in case of any conflict, report to your team leader or Nina.

# You are allowed out of the base for whatever reasons; only scavenging teams are permitted out of the ground during this time.

#Crimes such as stealing, rape, and murder are punishable by eviction from the base or death.

# Everyone is mandated to report to their chosen place of work immediately after brunch.

# Toiletries will be distributed to every occupied room once every two weeks.

# Everyone is entitled to two meals a day; your contribution to the growth and development of the base will give you an opportunity for a snack. Which means Snacks are earned.

# The infirmary is available at all times; visit there whenever you are sick.

# Report any damage to any gadget in your rooms immediately.

# Everyone must join the morning training, it's for safety reasons. Only senior citizens and heavily pregnant women are exempted.

#All garbage must be disposed of according to the labels on the cans.

# Failing any of the set rules will get you punished.

She printed the rules and made several copies of them. After that, she made a roaster of job activities for every job with more members. She also made is that all scavengers get snacks every day.

The following morning, she gave Eagan the papers containing the rules and roasters to go through and approve of it before distributing them to people. After going through it, Eagan agreed to it. He also gave her the seeds he got from the system to plant.

He instructed her that they must be planted separately and when they grow, they should be brought up to his room directly.

During the training, she passed the rules to the survivors; most people were satisfied with the regulations, while others had an opinion of their own.

After the general training, primarily for physical fitness and self-defense, everyone left to prepare for their daily activities.

"Yesterday's raid was a blast, thanks to everyone's cooperation. Today we'll be going to the hospital; it's close to the supermarket we went to yesterday; our mission is to save the survivors and also gather resources; of course, we can't leave out killing the zombies, " Adam explained.

" We'll go with two supply trucks and an extra bus to prevent the situation from yesterday. Remember, our goal is to rescue people and gather resources. No one is permitted to die or turn into a zombie, don't stray from your team, and don't leave your comrades behind."

"Yes, sir!"

"A hospital is a public place with a lot of sick people. It's also where the infection would easily spread; face masks and gloves are in each person's backpack. It's also worth mentioning that there is a high possibility we'll encounter a high-level zombie like that of the day before. Be careful and alert at all times. Matt's team, Preya's team, and Kyle's go into the building; once all the survivors have been rescued, we'll secure the resources. My team and Princess's team will secure the outside," Adam explained further.

Eagan grinned and said playfully

With his x-ray vision, he could count the number of zombies on the entire ground floor before they entered the hospital building.

'This is going to be fun, but how come I'm able to see more places today than yesterday? ' He thought.

Silver walked up to Reagan with his gun in hand and playfully bumped his shoulder, saying, " Let's see who will kill more zombies" Eagan scoffed and replied it is going to be me; you have a slow reaction speed."

" Our team will go in first, " Matt announced and led the way with Eagan closely behind him, Nick, and Shannon Brandon.

Having known the position of each zombie, Eagan opened fire on them

" Nick, watch your back," Eagan informed Nick, who was oblivious to the zombies coming towards him from the back.

Within five minutes, the reception was cleared of all zombies

and other teams came in.

" That was fast," Preya comments.

" Less than five minutes to take out this many zombies; it's imposing."

" You flatter my team; we'll proceed to check the rooms that are closed on the ground floor; a team will be needed to do the cleaning up."

Kyle volunteered his team to do the cleanup.

" My team will take the right stairs, and Preya's team will take a left and meet on the next floor."

" Sounds like a good plan."

They killed many zombies as they moved up the stairs, with Eagan being their navigator.

"There are two coming towards the stairs from that side."

" (gunshot) phew, your prediction is never wrong. I'm starting to think you have some kind of superpowers," Nick joked

" I do have superpowers," Eagan said lightly, which made them think he was joking.

They climbed to the next floor; the hallway had about twenty zombies

'Points, oh dear, points,' Eagan thought as he shot at the Zombies.

" Seems this guy offended you in your past life," Ian from Preya's team joked from across the hallway as their team climbed up.

Eagan shrugged and began checking room after room to check for survivors.

If they had a kill counter, Eagan would be at the top of the ranking.

" There are survivors in this room; it's locked," Eagan said as he tried to open the last door on the floor.

" Let me" Preya moved forward and knocked on the door twice.

" Hello, anybody in there? We are the rescue team. Please open up. We are not here to hurt you."

A male doctor opened the door with scissors in hand for self-defense.

Silver scoffed and whispered loudly.

" Do you think scissors will do anything against fully armed people?".
