The Greatest Ally

The air felt crisp with the scent of smoke, noises and music of all sort filled the air, it was the annual festival of Zordon.

A day in the year solely dedicated to mocking the demons who once terrorized the human race. The city buzzed with joy and activity, Kade still stood far away, his sharp gaze set on the his last followers being tied to the statue by knights.

He felt angry, he could barely recognize those that were around the statue, but they weren't worthy of that fate not while he was still alive.

The Knights finished tieing each of them to the statue, afterwards they lit it up, the fire slowly got to them, Kade took a step forward.

He had to do something about this, he could blend with the night that should be good enough for him to help them escape.

Kade studied the scene, there were about five knights, gladly they weren't emitting any sort of aura, which meant they weren't magical knights or mages around them, so he should be able to take them down.

He strutted down, merging with the partying crowd. Avoiding the fiery lamps as much as he could, he got much close to the statue, he could feel the shadow walk skill would ware off any second.

He glanced at the large statue, then back at the prisoners, he had to move and fast.

He turned on the transcluscent red screen, tapping on the inventory option, he swiped down, searching for a sword, but he couldn't find one.

"System why isn't there a sword?"

{Host would have to proceed to the store to purchase a sword with points or it will be unlocked when quests or side quests are completed.}

That's not good Kade muttered, he could see the fire was getting closer to the tallest of the lot.

"System how well is my skin resistance to fire?"

"That's good enough for me." Kade walked into the fire, his shadow walk skill immediately deactivated, revealing a figure in a burning cloak suddenly emerge from the raging fire.

The Knight's who noticed it, were immediately shocked, along with a few who stood in the crowd. Kade immediately reached for the closest, loosing the ropes that tied his hands to the statue.

The Knight's immediately unsheathed their swords , pointing it directly at the burning figure who now slowly walked out of the fire.

"What are you?!" One of the Knight's yelled. Kade immediately responded with a cold voice." What you fear the most. "

"He shifted his gaze towards the one he just freed, untie the others, set them free, keep running i will find you." The untied prisoner immediately got on his knees. Stranding up and proceeding to rescue the others.

Slowly the music that was being played, stopped. The crowd now had their gaze focused towards the figure who seemed to have beem born from fire itself and the five knights who were slowly approaching him.

Kade quickly analyzed the situation, there were five knights, each seemed strong and with their skills honed, however their armour type were different, four out of them, wore a leather like armour, while one wore another made of steel.

"You!" The one dressed in the iron armour yelled at one of the reasons others, go get this matter to the magistrate! Protect the prisons.

He then faced the crowd and yelled on top of his voice," Leave!"

The crowd panicked, they began dispersing into all parts of the city, In absolute fear, that's what Kade loved, the sublime feel of chaos. They'd given him more than enough time to think, he had planned this out.

The iron armoured knight lunged in for a strike, Kade immediately activated the shadow walk skill. The system had said in the advent of light, he could vanish for a short period of time.

He casted shadow walk immediately, blending with the darkness.

Clash! He knocked out the iron armoured knight with his elbow, the iron armoured knight delved into the ground immediately, shocked on how the figure wanished and attack from behind.

Seeing an higher ranked knight fall to the ground so weak, the other knights began waving their sword frantically. Without hesitating or wasting an inch of time, Kade attacked them. each of them crashed on the ground almost immediately, looking lifeless.

He turned, facing the prisoners, they've all been freed, Kade turned on the trancluscent screen, getting another cloak before the skill deactivated.

Each of the prisoners all stood in amazement, he had told them to run, why were they still standing there staring at him. He wondered if it would be necessary to reveal his facial features for them to believe but he was certain his voice should be enough.

Before he could make a decision, he abruptly shifted his gaze to a particular direction, Kade sensed it, Mana emitting figures were approaching at full speed. The prisoners scattered running in different directions almost immediately.

Kade turned also sprinting away from the scene, after a while of consistent running he arrived at an alley, where the ground was made of quality cobble stone.

"System?"

Kade called out to the villain system.

"I have to find a way to blend in with the humans." "Aren't I a demonic human.""Shouldn't I have the ability to change whenever I wish?"

{Host is correct, Zordon was a demonic human, but whenever he returned from the realms of demons, he usually proceeded to bath in the water of life and change himself back to a human.}

"I'll have to find this water of life then." Kade muttered, he suddenly felt something very strange, he could hear a pale voice.

It didn't fit that of the system which was cold and stark, this was something else. What's going on?

Kade felt a huge pain reek throughout his head, he held on to it tight but the pain came from within.

After a while he settled down, images began flickering into his head and mind, images of the empire of the final boss Zordon.
