{Ding!}
{Memory transfer process complete!} {New quest unlocked, host objective is to locate the last standing demon, your greatest ally, he will show you the path to the water of life.} Kade laid sideways on the ground, having listened to what the system said, he rose, now he had information on what he needed, he strangely didn't feel like Kade anymore, he felt like Zordon. The memories didn't make him strong or wiser, but it helped in understanding what to do next. Kade had laid there for a couple of hours, it was still deep in the night, he knew the whole city would be surrounded now by knights. Also including magical Knights, who might probably be able to be see through his shadow walk. Kade activated the skill and moved forward, he knew where he was going now, the voice that had spoken to him earlier was that of his greatest ally. He was the only one who Zordon as sealed his life to, as the privilege of being his greatest ally. The city was now quiet. just as Kade had thought, they were swarming with knights, they also held lamps too, this wasn't going to end well. He looked towards a particular direction, he knew where his greatest ally was imprisoned at, this was the largest out of his conquered cities, the place Zordon was also killed and sent to the realm of demons. He paced quickly, hoping to not be spotted by the knights. He snuck in their midst, avoiding the rays of the lamp light, everything seemed to be going well, he kept moving, he had to reach the prison, get the information and leave the city as fast as he could. "There!" One of the knights yelled. Kade turned his gaze falling on the knight, he could see through his shadow walk! Things just got worse! Kade could feel mana emitting from he knight, he wore a white glowing armour unlike the rest. His eyes also glowing, his gaze set on Kade. "Follow me!" He yelled to the other knights, they immediately obeyed, Kade leaped on one of the buildings, holding on to the knutting out surface, he climbed upwards speedily. That was his only route of escape from the Knights, he had to get to safety as fast as he could. The knights followed but they weren't quick enough, none of them had the experience of climbing like Kade did. Within a few seconds he was on top of the building, he had a better view of the city, his eyes darted, he located it. The prison. Kade deactivated the shadow walk skill, no more hiding, it was time to face the knights that came to attack him. He leapt from the building, hitting the ground with force, the ground below breaking into shackles, he lunged forward, his cloak moving rhythmically with the wind. The numbers of knights increased they were now rushing in from all directions, some with magical abilities and some without. The closest knight lunged at Kade, he didn't have magical abilities, so he was weak, he aimed for a strike with his sword. Kade caught the edge of the sword, clenching his fists around it and pulling it from the knight The knight brought it out a blade, swinging it for a desperate attack, but Kade parried the strike, simultaneously plunging the sword into the abdomen of the knight. The knight caught a glimpse of kade's hand which was too fast to notice earlier. "Demon!" He yelled loudly. Kade immediately flipped the blade from the ground with his feet, ending the life of the Knight. Hearing the word demon, the non mana emitting knights began falling back, giving way for the iron armoured knights, Kade was now surrounded by a circle of steel armoured knights, there were about twenty steel armoured knights and the white blazing knight who also approached him. After they've completely surrounded him they halted, the white blazing armoured knight then walked into the circle, standing a few meters from Kade. Kade could feel the knight standing before him was probably fifty times stronger. There was no way he could defeat such a knight in a battle, that was why the knight acted so free around his presence. "Remove your cloak demon!" Reveal your form. The white armoured knight roared, Kade knew he was the great and mighty Zordon, he had seen the strength of the white armoured knights before, but they were mid way on the development chain. The highest were the divine Knights, they were the strongest of the strongest, those were the kind of knights Zordon had fought with, though he managed to last for a period. He still failed. The fear in his name and look was enough to make this knights fear and push them aback. It won't last long but it could help in his escape. He was about to speak but was suddenly interrupted by a voice faraway, he stared towards the location. The figure stood behind a canyon, and fired it towards their location, Kade recognized the figure as one of the followers he saved back at the statue. This was the exact distraction he needed. Boom! There was an explosion in their midst. "He must not get away," the high level knight roared amidst the chaos, but he was too late, Kade was already gone. Kade slowly approached the prison, the knights that were on patrol had left their duties for assistance on hearing that a demon had interfered in the annual festival. Kade broke the lock on the gate with the sword he'd taken from the knight he killed, The prison was an underground hole, on top of it laid a big rock, covered in moss, around it was filled barely cut grass. He brought down his hood, gazing at the large rock. He was sure he couldn't move it, neither could he break it with his strength or the sword. "How do I get in," Kade muttered to himself. Kade heard that voice speak to him again, it was the voice of his greatest ally. "You need not enter zordon, you're close enough, finally, the age of demons as once again begun."Latest Chapter
A slave?
It was morning. The once chaotic tunnel returned to it's still form once more and slowly began crashing onto itself. The wall behind Kade had shattered completely leaving only Shards that should be the remains of glass. Behind kade was an army of hundred of thousands rushing through a dimensional portal that had been casted by the eternal mage. The army consisting of knights, adventurers and mages from all nooks and crannies of arak. Who have immediately responded to the emergency beacon. And above them flew the death knight. He flew upright as if standing, his hands tucked at his back, his death sword sheathed at his side and his demeanor calm as he gazed directly at the demon king Zordon even from a mile away. Unwavering. Prepared for any sudden moves. Sitting still on the ground weak and gradually losing life was the Great demon Zordon or rather Kade. The red status window flickered weakly at his front. His eyes were closed. His breathing stopped. He could barely perce
Attack from all sides
In an instant. Kade summoned his hammer. Holding it horizontally towards his face in an attempt to avoid each and everyone of the strikes. But that was not close to enough, the hammer was large but not as wide to shield all the strike coming from all directions. Kade didn't know the most crucial parts of a demon, but what he was certain of, was that the head of every living being mattered to them, and that was what he kept in mind as the beams hit him in a loud crash. Kade was flung to the other side of the ancient building in an instant. The beams did not stop, the guardians kept chanting the spell like it was their new creed. Pain wrecked through Evey fiber if the demon king's being. Kade registered in his mind that this was probably the highest he had ever gotten hurt. Now that the system had turned the realm of the highest to a passive skill which might be useful when his weak. It was also absolutely useless when he couldn't use it for longer periods. Kade could feel the
The Fountain Of Life
Kade stood at the entrance of the passage way, his head covered in the hood, part of his face illuminated from the devastating aura this beings emanated, by no flaw each and every one of them were stronger than him. They seemed to have materialized from nothingness just to have his head, to be summoned from a void just to make the prophecy described in the runes not come to pass. And this was no joke, their numbers kept increasing. 'The guardians.' Kade muttered to himself, without studying them he was certain they were stronger than him, their strength even rubbed off on the the giant spider's that each of them possessed and rode upon. 'But could it be enough?' This was the question that lingered in kade's mind as his eyes narrowed, could it be enough to defeat the demon king, let alone the new soul it now carried? A smile tugged at his lips as he summoned the desert adapted bow. Eyes locking on the obvious threat, the enemies sprang into immediate action, each of them lunging t
The tunnels
It was already too late. His gaze shifted to the exact rubble behind him, it was the tunnel he was searching for, the death knight lunged for a finishing strike but it was belated. As his dark mana blazing sword hit the place where Zordon had laid, all that was left was pure desert sand. The death knight gaze lingered across the sands conflicted. He was absolutely certain he not only saw but could feel the demon king's presence just about a split second ago, but now, now he was gone with no trace at all. "Why?!" The death knight roared, clashing his mana blazing sword with the sands once more. The sands exploded outwards leaving the figure of the frustrated death knight amidst it. At utmost speed he arrived at where the army had stood waiting, various warriors gathered ready for war. The formation was the most reasonable one, the most powerful knights at front followed by other knights, then the adventurers in the middle and the mages at the end of the battle formation as they were
Zordon
Five hundred years ago. The world shook. Cities reduced to inevitable dust. Kingdoms thrashed like waste as the innate figure of the demon king Zordon battled in his final form, refusing to clinge unto his defeat. The demon allies he had released unto the world have now been hunted down and almost extinguished. He stood tall amidst hundreds of death Knights, his sheer will power suppressing their divine levels of skills. The air itself ached as each strike was sent towards his enemies in cataclysmic destruction and precision, his six terrifying eyes was enough to make the lands crack and left tidal waves gnawing deeply on the sea at his spells wake. The sky acknowledged is dominating presence as both the sun and moon lingered above with fear of yeilding light in recognition of such majestic power. A battle between gods and demigods a winner already decided right from the beginning, but fate willed differently as something that had never occurred in millennials, a simple tale t
The Death Knight
He clenched his fists on his sword, heart beating rapidly, he lost the grip, the sword blazing with dark energy fell on the burnt ground. Smoke covered the whole area over fifteen feet upwards, dark flames reasonating over the woods, it was barely the power of a death knight.That explosion was merely him relaxing his muscles, he recalled what happened not so long ago. The demon king, the one said to have ruled arak for centuries, the one who built each city from brick to brick stood right before him.He was sure he sensed the weakness in the figure, but the speed, he could never have thought a demon could move so quickly. Not to talk of the frightening aura the demon emitted. He could feel it, the demon was far away, in the desert of orophim, should I go myself, he wondered to himself, sending all of this other knights to that battle would be equal to sending them to their deaths, he shrugged off the thoughts, they are knights they are meant to go to battle, even if it was with the
