Chapter 9: Hart Vs Evolved beast

Roar!

They heard this noise from deep within the cave drawing near like the beast was running towards them.

"What do we do now Koran?" Cynthia panicked a bit backing off a bit in fear.

"Just leave it to us, we'll handle it right?" Koran directed to Hart who nodded happy to be of help.

"Don't just slow me down Koran," Hart tightened his fist and scowled at the darkness up front and the echoing if footsteps drawing close fast.

Boom! The beast finally came into view charging on all fours resembling a gorilla with the tusks of an elephant and a body filled with tentacle like hair. It had a mean demeanor and a yellow energy fuming from it's body.

'Should I use the extracted power or my own strength?' Hart asked himself considering what his tean would say if they saw him with the Phoenix Warlock's ability.

After a short prospection he chose not to use it.

Hart pointed out his left hand and formed two large shards of ice from it shooting them at the large night terror beast.

It simply smashed through the ice shards like it was nothing continuing in it's chare and at this time it was too late to attack again.

Koran leapt away while Hart made sure to grab the frozen Cynthia by the wrist before escaping from the charging beast that passed by them.

The beast stopped sharply turning around and huffing from it's nose in anger and glaring at them.

Koran was the first to step up. "I guess it's my turn!"

He charged at the terror beast his hand fuming a golden energy. As he came close enough he crouched his knees and leapt into the air blasting a golden energy from his palm at it.

The terror beast surprisingly dodged the hit standing on all two's and throwing a fist at Koran who was still in the air.

He had never expected such a breakthrough and only gasped putting his two hands in front of his face, "shit it can stand on....."

The terror beast slammed it's fist into Koran's block throwing him into the wall strongly and falling to his side writhing in pain.

"Damn! You better get out of here, you will only be a hindrance!" Hart said to Cynthia after seeing Koran take that hit.

He needed to help and rushed away from her to go into battle.

'Why am I so scared?' Cynthia held herself and scolded herself for being so weak minded, 'i never thought it would look so scary, I can't..... I won't fight....' she hid her her and wished everything to end in an instance.

The night terror beast gave an ear piercing shriek walking up to Koran raising it's leg to stamp it on Koran.

As it was about to do this Hart leapt off the ground with so much strength it looked like he flew and landed a punch into the face of the night terror beast.

The force of his punch threw it like a ball through the entire tunnel rolling on the ground a few times before stopping.

"Now let's begin!" Hart grinned as he tightened his fist and watched the beast rise up angrily and charge him on all two's with a new formed energy.

[It has activated a strength skill to multiply it's skill by ten]

"Good!" Hart smiled even more racing at the beast and stopping as it threw a fist to his face.

Hart threw his fist also to the might terrors own and the force of the attack sent an amazing gust if wind blowing through the tunnel at an high pitch.

Their strengths were even.

The night terror beast attacked again with it's other fist but Hart's speed was far much greater then it could comprehend.

He ducked the hit and raced towards it planting a strong punch into it's gut.

"KUEEEKKKK!" It coughed up a good load of blood staggering back a few feet back but Hart wouldn't give it rest.

He tightened his fist a red flame engulfing it and he leapt into the air planting a flaming fist on it's jaw.

Fwooosh! The force tore up it's jaw from the beast face with his flames scorched it's face.

"KAYAAAHHHHK!" Instead of it giving to the pain, this time it's eyes zeroed on Hart and it attacked him unexpectedly.

"Keuk!" Hart grunted as a huge knee met with his face blasting him off the ground like a shot rocket hitting ceiling the cave with a loud cracking noise.

"Not yet!" Hart coughed blood falling back down to only recieve another strong fist from the night terror beast and in that instant it was like thunder could be heard in the tunnel as he flew as fast as the speed of light and surprisingly reached the end of the gate splitting the cave's end apart as his body destroyed the wall and he fell eight yards outside in the forest.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Hart screamed blood dripping from his face and entire body. He writhed for a few second before getting himself to sit upright and in that same moment the large night terror beast made it's way through the hole he created with a horrible scowl on it's face.

"You bastard! You made a costly mistake!" Hart grinned pointing his index finger at the beast as the Phoenix aura began to form at the top of his hands. "You dead."

The night terror beast roared again pouncing to Meet Hart but Hart had already sent a beam of the phoenix aura blast at it.

As the beam met with the night terror's face it immediately destroyed it into loads of blood and flesh.

The body fell to the ground and it was dead.

"I won!" Hart rested his back on the wall proud of himself, "fuck you night terror shit!" He decided to rest a bit there as his body hurt like hell and wondered what the others had going on now.

'I never knew beast like this existed in this world.'
