Won't Last Long

"Edwin darling come get ready so you can go with papa to work, papa is already getting ready." Alice said, trying to get Edwin up from the bed when she discovered that his body was so hot.

"My love, what is wrong? What is happening? You are so hot my darling." Said Alice in a very worried tone.

"Mama, I am so cold mama and my head hurts a lot mama." Edwin said, with pain as tears ran down his eyes.

"Your chest?" Alice said, as tears filled her eyes, she never thought of seeing him in so much pain.

"Thomas dear, my love! please come Edwin is in pain!" Alice said, running towards the bathroom but Thomas was already coming out.

"What is wrong with my love?"

"Edwin, he is in pain, my love."Alice said, as they both walked back to the bed.

Alice covers Edwin with a thick blanket.

"In pain?" Thomas asked.

"Mama is cold and I am tasty."

"Okay my love I will go get you some water wait okay?" Alice said, and left the room to get water.
