"What?!" Keith screamed in surprise. "That can't be possible... The Supreme Warlord is..."

Keith paused after noticing that he was about to say what wasn't true. Sage hesitated a bit and said with that same fearful and serious expression she approached Keith with:

"Even though the Supreme Warlord isn't immortal, he is strong enough to defeat death when it comes... This is so unbelievable."

"Only immortals can defeat death, stop saying shit, Sage. He must have been murdered or something. Or maybe he was suffering from life-sucking plague," Keith said. Regardless of the unrest and shouts all over the city, Keith was calm and collected. Sage was surprised about this, but she decided to omit his act.

Right now, she only wants to go home and shut down all the clan's building doors to ensure her safety and survival of the chaos that might befall the Blue Planet.

The Supreme Warlord was the only hope of the humans when it comes to war and safety. He ended the war between the Specters with his devastating magical powers and skills, plaguing fear into the minds of the Specters and Dark Orcs.

Because of his devastating powers, the Specters haven't dared to attack the Blue Planet since the last war, and the humans were grateful for having such a human as their defense.

However, there were still other Warlords who awakened wonderful and devastating talents, but they were nothing to compare with that of the Supreme Warlord, Ten Faron.

He was the only one who had reached 8-stars in his Skill Grade, with hopes of getting to the Platinum rank talent someday. He was the one of the humans alive who could rank up his talent. He was highly praised by everyone but was never liked by the Lords.

The Lords could also rank up their talent, but their special powers was nothing to compare to the Supreme Warlord's powers. Though he wasn't a Lord, but his honors were two times greater than the ones the Lords would ever get.

Now that he is gone, the human race is in a big mess.

Keith and Sage walked towards the path leading to the main city. Sage had tried running, but Keith convinced her to stay calm and walk. At least It wasn't as if the Specters were here already. Even if war would come, Keith knew that it wouldn't be anytime soon.

They got to the main city after a long walk. Keith sniffed for a while and said:

"You should go home now, I want to go collect some herbs to make painkillers. The gates of the clan village should be shut down and let the whole area be lit up," Keith said with a serious expression.

"Then where are you going to spend the night when it's dark? You are Talentless and wouldn't be selected among those who will become an Awakened," Sage complained. She feared for her junior cousin brother's life.

"Don't worry Sage, I will be fine and safe. Just do what I said. The others are in their various duties so we are the only ones left at home," Keith said with a slight smile. He was able to convince her but wasn't able to make her leave that spot before him. She wanted to watch him leave so she could see where he was actually heading.

Seeing this, Keith pretended as if he was heading to the herb farm in the east, he walked not quite long forward and turned to go through the path leading to the Menace Forest when he noticed that Sage had left the spot she had stood on. She was out of sight.

As Keith made his way to the dark Menace Forest, he decided to check out the weapons in the system's shop. As he summoned the system in just the blink of an eye, it made a speedy appearance.

Without wasting much time to read more, Keith selected the Weapon shop and began examining the weapons available.

"Hmmm, I liked a dagger, but it turned out to be useful for only self-defense. The spear is great, but it's too expensive for me right now," Keith heaved a soft sign and looked at the Longsword section, "let's go for a longsword then. At least it can be helpful."

Keith selected the longsword and the system sounded again.

——————————

[Do you want to purchase a Level 1 Longsword for 30 stat points? Yes or No?].

——————————

"Yes please," Keith agreed.

——————————

[Level 1 Longsword has successfully been purchased... 30pts has been spent].

[You have earned 200 stat points for purchasing a weapon].

Immediately after the System's notification, a longsword appeared on Keith's right hand. "Yeah! This is how it goes!"

Keith looked at the longsword. It possessed a blue hue at its hilt, with a clean and shimmering aura from the blade. Keith felt his heart at rest, he had a weapon now, so his chance of defeating three Tier-0 monsters was boosted.

Scrutinizing the whole place with an outrageous smile, Keith approached the Menace Forest. Upon getting there, he muttered inwardly.

'I think the Supreme Warlord granted the system to me when he was about to give out. But why me, I'm nothing but a cheap fellow from a clan of Commoners who has been cursed by the heavens. I never deserved it.'

He stopped thinking the moment he entered into the forest. Now, his eyes became bloodshot. He was attentive, hoping to capture the three Tier-0 monsters without going that deep into the Menace Forest. He wouldn't stand a chance of defeating Tier-1 monsters if he sees one.

Just as he made a few steps forward, peeking through every nook and corner, Keith's face produced a bitter smile...

ROAR!

'That's a Wild Boar! A Tier-0 monster of course.'

Keith glanced at the monster who had noticed his approach. The Boar's face showed a clear indication of outrage and terror, but not even its look could make Keith afraid. Before Keith could study its features, the monster charged in his direction with speed.

Heaving a soft sigh, ready, Keith held tight the longsword and declared:

"Let's do this."

CHAPTER 67The day for the search finally came, and the young master settled in the Head Lord’s fort with some other officers… After quite a while of waiting, Awakened Keith didn’t happen to show up, and instead, it was a young woman with blonde hair and striking pale skin who had dashed into the fort with a casual look on her face.“And who is this?” Brendon couldn’t help but ask as he glared at the lady who didn't seem to take him as a special figure before her.He was beginning to get mad, until one of the officers walked out from behind and spoke up.“She is Awakened Keith’s girlfriend, young master,” the officer with a very jaggy black hair said with a reassuring look on his face.“Point of correction, I’m Awakened Keith’s wife, not his girlfriend,” Skyla suddenly corrected with a striking, serious glance. The officer only nodded and shrugged before continuing.“She is the one who revealed the tape of the Head Lord’s murder scene, and would lead us to the right location,” the off

He only tried to endure and rode to his fort as soon as possible. On reaching his fort, Keith saw Skyla coming out of the house dressed as if she was about to go out. She was in haste, and her appearance made Keith freeze."Oh, my king... I was about to come to the Head Lord's fort," Skyla said with a relaxed smile as she saw Keith. "It's fine now, they found out that I'm innocent," Keith said casually, giving a nod. "Of course they will. I showed the accused the murderer. Although many doubted, some still believed," Skyla said and walked close. "What do you mean? You know who killed Lord Asher?" Keith's brows furrowed in shock. He was trying so hard not to believe this,

  • Another point of innocence

Keith was quiet and didn't say a word to the detection officer. Of course, he knew that not everyone in the Blue Planet attended the Postings, but at least the news should have been spreading, right? The detection officer stole confused glances at Keith, his face blank and cold. He was actually the detection officer who detected Keith's talent several months ago and clearly saw that he had no talent, now he was accused of killing the Head Lord? 'How?!'"Can we just begin the detection, please?" Brendon said from behind, his face still red and fierce. "As you wish, young master," the detection officer turned to Keith, "Come forward, young man."Keith let out a mute sigh and walked further to reach the talent detection machine by a meter gap. The talent detection machine looked exactly like a CPU device which had a screen on the surface. Close to the screen at the extreme bottom of the machine's surface, two fingerprint sensors could be seen. The screen covered all surface areas exce

Even after launching that fierce punch in Keith's mouth, he wasn't still satisfied. With anger, he attempted to push Keith again, this time, he aimed for his chest, not minding if he could kill this young man. But thanks to Officer Oliver, before the angry young man could launch another punch, he held his hand and stopped him. However, what happened next actually shocked Keith and the officer. Instead of getting hold of the young man's hand, Officer Oliver was suddenly blown away due to the force of the punch. Although he managed to stop him from hitting Keith in the chest, he became the victim of the attack w

  • Get us the killer and prove your gigolo's innocence!

The video display that just appeared in mid-air stunned all the attackers, making them furrow their eyebrows in astonishment, some eyes broadened. In the video, a masculine figure clad in a black robe and covered in a hood cap could be seen entering the Head Lord's inner chamber. It was as if this man had a shadow ability, or perhaps, an ability that could make him invincible. No one noticed his presence in the fort, and even the main guards in the Head Lord's chamber couldn't even track his steps, even with their Observation Talents! It was quite unbelievable, and the attackers who were watching the display thought this was a total joke! "No way! That guard dressed like a knight is now a Gold-rank Presence Detector, there is no way he couldn't notice the presence of that guy!""Faked video! This isn't true!""Whoa, that guy must be a Platinum-rank Awakened already!""So this guy killed Lord Asher?! I promise you, I'll make you drink my pee before eating my sh*t to your grave!"Seve

  • Prime suspect

"Err... Um... Uhh..."When Keith heard the question posed by the chief officer, he stammered horribly. Keith's level of shock and confusion was beyond words. He was clearly taken aback."Actually... Officer, I'm still a Bronze-rank Awakened." With eyes that looked like a chasm, Keith mustered the courage to speak. As the chief officer stared at him, he noticed the sense of astonishment and nervousness in Keith's eyes. Even if a six-year-old boy caught a glimpse of Keith's countenance at this moment, he would clearly notice the unease lurking around him.Although Keith knew that the two guards would have suspected him after his fierce attack against them, he just didn't expect that they would spread the news to someone else.Keith just didn't think much about these things because of his father's issue, and now that the Head Lord was dead, it could be an investigative factor.'Shit! I'm in trouble now.'Keith couldn't help but curse badly, slightly clenching his fist and teeth at the
