Within the Zechs mansion, In a room which seemed more like a small stadium enough to accommodate near hundred people. Their were seats for audience on one corner and a rock paved battle ring, one glance and people can tell that this rocks were created by special means for self repair or the sort. 

In the middle of this ring their was young boy enough to be in 1st grade. This boy had pitch black hair and majestic jewel sapphire eyes with a magical glow. He was wearing a kimono and was swinging a wooden katana in 8 different but consecutive in a clock wise form. His body was covered in sweet. Which will make all the shota lover woman's to jump on him. He had an indifferent expression with a tinge of pride.

This kid was none other than Lucas. 

' Alright, let's take a break.' I thought and sat in one of the many empty seats.

It has been around a month after I got my first job. Even though I am still not allowed to go out of house, alot of things have changed. After, I got my job mother allowed me to train and even asked for maids to help me with my training.

I firstly trained my skills alongside cultivation and some magic spells. After that seeing my fast growth Julia started training me with real martial arts techniques because unlike the other two energies Qi can only be trained by forcing my body and organs to it's very limits.

" Young master Lucas it's time for dinner." I heard a voice from back.

" Yes, I will come after taking a shower and changing my clothes." I replied without even even turning because I had already sensed Julia from /Pure sense/ skills as Uriel said got extremely easy to use after understanding the feeling of veins and my will on them, that's why I can literally just activate my /pure sense/ when I sense a disturbance with my always active part of (bright sapphire eyes).

After taking a cool shower I went in the dining room to have dinner.

Today I was given beast meat alongside some side dishes and rice. Beast meat is very healthy for a job user and can also help in Mana and Dao cultivation. The only downside and reason why most job users don't eat it is because of it's perk as well. Even though beast meat can give you energy to cultivate only 3/10th of the whole world's population can use it as a perk. If a person is unable to cultivate it the energy will turn into a poison causing blockage in a persons growth. This poison can be healed but it takes a considerable amount of time, that's why nobody eats it after one try. Even mother stayed a couple of days to keep check on my condition when I first ate it.

" Julia, did you relied the request I have to my mother ?" I asked with a indifferent voice while taking a small bite of meat elegantly.

Currently, I was in the dining room and was sitting at one end of 5 metre long dining table with Julia on the right and Lily on the left, standing like proper maids on one each side of table.

" Yes, I relied your request to Viscountess Athanasia." she replied with her usual serious tone.

" And what was her reply ?"

" She is still persistent on not letting you go...." she replied.

From the past 15 days I have been asking my mother to let me go in the nearby woods to hunt some beasts because it was necessary for me kill magical beasts for leveling, But as dotting as my mother can be she still won't let me go.

When Lily heard my sigh she quickly added while staring daggers at Julia," But she agreed to accept your request if you dueled with Julia, you don't have to win you just have to give a satisfactory fight."

Lily, she was the maid who was always keeping distance from me. I thought it has to do something regarding my hair or me being the son of her master but when I learned the truth I was surprised.

According to Julia, Lily is a Elf-dryad and was sold to a slave merchant by her own mother at the age of five. She didn't have much memories from that time, the only thing she remembered was that she was emotionaly traumatized. Somehow overcoming her trauma she started working for mother because she respected her and she didn't have a choice but she learnt about me, she started keeping distance against me so that she won't get hurt again like with her mother because of my hair. When she heard my conversation of me regarding my title, hair, and bloodline, she somehow got charmed by me. ....maybe she is in shota's.

"Julia~" I said with a charming smile but that smile was enough to send chills to anyone.

" Y-Young master, I was going to tell you that but–"

she was interrupted by me," But what?? You don't want me to grow stronger??" I asked in a authoritative tone with a cold expression.

"N-no.." she was able to mutter.

" Then its decided, we are going to have a duel tomorrow." I ordered and went back to my room after completing the dinner.

" Why do you have to do that lily !!?" Julia asked with her face burning with anger, still in the dinner room.

" I was just unable to see young master unhappy." she said leaving the dining room with a barely noticeable speed.

" Do you think I want to see him unhappy..." Julia muttered under her breath with a sad expression.

The next day

Julia and I were standing opposite to each other in the inner house stadium.

I was wearing a kimono because of it's comfortable robe like feeling and flexibility, I was excited to my very core.

'This is going to be my first real fight after I got my job and is also going to be ticket for leveling!! " I thought.

' Only if your match is satisfactory Lucy chan~' Uriel said with a voice of little girl. she has been reading a lot of mangas and webnovels from my memories, she said as long as I let her she can read my memories.

Opposite to me was Julia, she was wearing the same combat maid outfit, the only difference was that she was carrying a straight sheathed Katana.

' I am going to see how much strong you have grown my little Lucy, this is going to be your first duel I am happy but at the same time I am conflicted, I don't want to give you to anyone but I also can't keep you caged. I will see how much you have grown stronger and if your strength meets my expectations, I will think of this as a first step of letting you stay away from me....' Athanasia had this thoughts. For her Lucas was the most important being in her life, she had a ambition of being the Viscountess of Clystalin but after her son was born even that was incomparable to him. But she has decided to move on just not for herself but for her son as well.

" Young lord Lucas, this dual will be quite simple you just have to land a hit on me and it is your win." she said with a calm but firm voice.

She kept her hand on the handle of her katana while I activated my (bright sapphire eyes) alongside pure sense as Julia is a offensive speed type fighter.

Seeing the determination and resolve along with a hint of killing intent with mana and my cold glowing sapphire jewel eyes Julia flinched but her composure returned with excitement in her eyes which was not present before.

' Your attitude and stubborness have changed a lot lord Lucas but is it enough to accomplish what you want because I am not going to go easy on you...' she thought with a hint of pride like she was saying ' I have raised this boy.'

Lily who was standing on the refree corner to start and judge the match had a smile on her face.

' Show them... no, not just them but the whole world who you are lord Lucas, you alongside your will are not weak to break because of something so futile. You are Lucas de Zechs and I hope someday even the emperor will fear this name, everyone who will see your strength should think hundred times before messing with you or what you hold dear.' she prayed the last sentence.

After what seemed like an eternity, Lily finally asked: 

" Alright, remember this is just a dual thats why harming your opponent will cause me to intervene, tieing the match and Julia hold back, young lord know your limits, is that clear ?" she ordered and asked with a authoritative tone and asked each of us individually.

" Julia ?" 

" Whenever the young lord is." she said with a smile.

" Young lord "

" Start already, I am itching " I replied with a smirk on my cold face.

" Begin!!"
