Test: Dual against Julia 2

After hearing the starting signal, Julia disappeared from my line of sight like she just vanished in thin air but it didn't surprise me one bit because I was expecting it.

[ Activate /shadow creation/]

I quickly created a shadow wall in waxing Crescent moon format on my left side when I sensed a disturbance on this side with my /pure sense/.

But instead of hitting it she took a small step and the disturbance I was sensing on my left side disappeared and appeared on my right side.Her katana was just about to touch my hand but instead....

CLANG!!...

A sharp voice of two swords clashing was able to be heard. From my shadow a complete light devouring pitch black straight katana was formed while I was holding it's hilt and the shadow moon like wall disappeared.

When Julia noticed this she took another step and vanished like before, she stood in front me with a considerable distance between us.

" So, the wall was just a bait you created to buy you enough time to create a sword." she asked with a smile but a seasoned warrior will notice she was still on gaurd.

" I can create a average sword in a second but if I have to take hits from your sword I need to create a sharp, sturdy and more than anything a strong sword, it will take five to ten seconds." While I was saying this she had already vanished but without panicking I just turned back and lifted the shadow sword in horizontal form above my head, covering my right shoulder by pointing the hilt on my left.

CLANG!!...

Another sword clashing was heard but this time it was a bit different as Julia was pinning me down with my sword being horizontal and her vertical.

" How are going to fre–" before she can even speak she felt her foot upto knee gripped by something, it was nothing more than my shadow.

When I felt her sword shacking I got out from the way of her sword with a step while sending my Qi in my foot and below knee muscles with joints.

I appeared on her left hand side with a considerable distance between us.

" Fire ball " was the only thing I said with a cold voice after settling down while pointing my left palm towards her while my right hand gripping my sword.

And as if the most natural thing of nature, a big and huge fire ball covering my whole body behind it from Julias point of view.

Julia opened her eyes wide in surprise and thought to herself,' Only teir 3 mages would be able make such a big fire ball, how was he able–'

Again, before she can even complete her sentence the fireball came flying towards but before it can even touch her it exhausted.

"oh..." 

Before she can even react I was already standing behind her while gripping the hilt tightly with its blade end at 4:00 o'clock. I took in deep breath while gritting my teeths.

" Ocean Breathing 6th Form: Uncatchable eel !" 

When I said this my whole sword blade got covered in water and I moved my sword in a zig zag form and took my sword from 4:00 o'clock to 10:00 o'clock.

But unlike how I imagined my sword cutting or slicing Julia she completely vanished from my front.

" Tch..." I clicked my tongue with a annoyed expression while looking at Julia on my right side with a 5 metre distance between us.

Everyone, including athanasia was looking at me with clearly noticable shock on their faces.

' He casted the fire ball spell but instead of using the mana to burn or hurt someone, he spread the mana as much as he can and made the fireball look like a tier three spell in size but before the fireball even touched Julia it exhausted because of not having enough or purer mana. He used that as a distraction for his opponent and by sending Qi in his legs, he ran and arrived behind her and casted a breathing technique. Currently instead of Julia, a veteran warrior, a magical beast would have been against him even if that beast could have been stronger than him. He would have already killed that beast.' Athanasia thought while seeing her son with amusement, surprise and shocked expression when she saw her son covered his lacking fire power by tricks.

" I am proud of you young lord !! That's why I won't hold back now. This is going to be my last attack." she said while keeping her sword in 12:00 o'clock format.

This is going to be first time I will be seeing a skill or technique of Julia. From what I know she is the best Assassin under my mother and even though she is a Assassin most of her attacks are multiple target oriented.

" Sword Dao: 72 Thrusts !!" she yelled.

[ Activate /untouchable shadow/]

She was holding her katana on her left side with one hand and above her. She was holding the katana in rapier format by pointing the tip of the blade to me. The most noticeable thing was that the sword currently had a faint but noticable shine to it.

She suddenly took a step and arrived in front of me, I also took a step while sending as much Qi as possible in my legs and took a few steps back. She was playing offensive that's why I decided to defensive as this was my first time seeing her perform a technique and the technique was something I didn't knew.

For the next 20 seconds sharp sound of her katana piercing through wind were able to be heard. I tried to evade as many thrust as possible, some were even clashed against my shadow sword to the point were it broke after two or three hits and returned to my shadow.

After twenty seconds Julia was standing by showing her back towards Lucas and her hand on her hilt while her katana partially sheathed.

" You did very well young master! You have gro–" she was saying, about to turn back to look at him before....

A wind piercing sound of a sharp object was heard.

BOOM!!!

A loud boom was heard of a teir 2 spell. Julia avoided the spell but their was a slight cut on her left cheek.

' It wasn't a strength oriented but speed oriented spell !!' Julia, Lily and athanasia thought with shock.

" So, did I pass the test ?" They heard a mischievous yet beautiful voice of a young boy.

Of course, it was non other than the son of a viscountess Lucas. He was sitting in a messed up position with a unsteady and deep breathing.

" How...?" was the question asked and I realised she was still in daze because if not for that fact she would already be running towards him checking nook and cranny of his body for any injuries. She had many questions like how was he unscratched ? How did his spell carry the power of tier two ? How was it so fast even though it looked like a power oriented attack ?

" I had to use my /untouchable shadow/ skill to cover most part of my body but it was still not enough that's why I have to keep a considerable distance to only let the tip touch my Shadow covered body."

/Untouchable shadow/ this was the most mysterious skill I got with my job. Any one at first glance can say that it was a defensive based skill but I thought that this skill was too overpowered to be true, even if we ignored the fact that it takes more time and energy. And as my prediction, this skill was not that overpowered even though it's discription sounds like it.

When any attack physical or non physical, comes into contact with the pitch black shadow covered body part it enters it and the infinity or to be precise the space between the body part or shadow enlarges and the attack has to travel a long space even though from naked eyes the attack has entered but is only piercing shadow but unable to touch the body under shadow.

The downside of this is whenever the attack comes into contact with shadow it takes more CS than mentioned in discription and by using CS how much infinity you can add to the shadow is also limited to a certain point. That's why, I was doing my best to dodge the thrusts of Julia's katana because even if my body will be protected from the attack too much CS will be exhausted.

When I understood this amazing property of Infinity I tried to use and failed completely because I can imagine and will the shadow to enlarge or give a form to my shadow because it is present in front of me and I can sense it. How would I be able to sense Infinity because it is not even present for naked eyes even though it is ? Urghh, this caused me a headache that's why I decided to ignore it..... atleast for now.
